Title: You and Me Together

     "wake up!"

     eunji yelled in hushed tones at vivi, disturbing her peaceful slumber. vivi groaned and turned her back on the girl who had tried to wake the older up.

     "yah!" the girl pouted, shaking her body once more.

     vivi was enraged, but she was able to keep her cool, especially when it came to the girl who was attempting to wake her up, as she turned her body around, finally facing eunji.

     vivi grabbed her phone from the nightstand and checked the clock before eunji could even say anything.

     "what are you doing up at three a.m.?" eunji uncomfortably chuckled, vivi's eyes finally fixed on her. "sweetheart,"  her words were sweet, but her tone was stern.

     "i just want to tell you that i love you."

     vivi gave eunji a loving kiss on the forehead before caressing her hair, "i love you too, god knows how much i do. now, go back to your bed and sleep. it's three in the morning."

     "uhm, can i sleep here? just for tonight," eunji lowly stated before using her puppy eyes to vivi who had her eyes barely opened.

     "no."

     eunji whined upon hearing the older decline, "oh why?"

     "because i said so."

     "but we're married for pete's sake! it's not like we are a bunch of nobodies."

     "who's pete?" vivi deadpanned. "and no, you still can't. the last time i let you sleep with me, you kept rolling around the bed, so i forced myself to sleep on the couch."

     "i promise i won't this time!" eunji screamed, pointing to the right side of vivi's bed. "hell, i'll even cuff myself on the bed frame on this side so i won't move around!"

     "what's up with you tonight? you normally and usually sleep on your bed every night, had a nightmare?"

     as whining sounds filled the dim warm room, eunji blushed scarlet with humiliation and covered herself with vivi's duvet.

     "this is embarrassing but i had a bad dream and back home when this happens i normally just crawl into bed with my mom or sister but since they're not here anymore, can i sleep with you instead?" eunji's explanation were muffled due to the fact that her head was still buried under the thick blanket.

     vivi awed at her explanation, "it's just a nightmare, it's nothing real," she soothed, caressing the younger girl's gentle cheeks as she pulled eunji out of the cover and carried her to her side, hugging them both under the blankets.

     the room was deafeningly quiet as the two sat in each other's arms, safe in their embrace as they basked in the warmth.

     "why don't you let me sleep here anymore, by the way?" eunji said, breaking the silence.

     "well, i figured you were uncomfortable sleeping with me that's why you keep rolling around to get me out of bed, so i chose to sleep in separate rooms for a bit."

     eunji snorted, her laughter suppressed after hearing vivi's explanation.

     "why did you think i was apprehensive about sleeping with you? i always go to bed cuddling the plush animal you gave me, convinced enough that it's you. that time i slept with you was the best sleep i ever had and i wanted to feel that again."

     hearing eunji's wonderful words made vivi's lips curled up in a smile as a chuckle left from her mouth, a blush crept up on her cheeks, and she hugged the younger even tighter.

     "now that you've mentioned it, you truly look cute in my arms, so i guess we could sleep together from now on," vivi kissed her again on the forehead before caressing eunji's hair once more, knowing that it helps the younger fall asleep quickly.

     eunji hummed contentedly "keep talking. your voice is so relaxing that it puts me to sleep."

     as eunji had requested, vivi spoke about random stuff until she discovered eunji was fast asleep in her arms, which made her grin again.

     "i could get used to this," she mumbled before falling asleep next to eunji.

     "eunji-yah, wake up now~"

     vivi smeared kisses all over eunji's face, attempting to rouse the heavy sleeper. she'd been doing this for approximately fifteen minutes, and after what vivi had done, it was impossible for eunji not to be awake.

     despite the fact that the older knew she was merely acting sleepy, she continued with her clingy behavior since she enjoyed it as well. until vivi became serious, at which point eunji must get up now.

     she tried coaxing, sweet-talking, even complaining until she was finally got fed up and say, "fine, suit yourself. i made pancakes as breakfast for the both of us but i guess i'll have to finish all of it by myself..."

     the older was about to leave when eunji leaps immediately. "no, no! i'm up!"

     "knew that would work," vivi muttered as she smirked in victory.
