"Kali! Kali! Hey, wake up!" Chris shouted, shaking Kali, who was still passed out on the floor beside him.

"Kali! Holy crap, I thought you were gone for a second," he continued, helping her up as she groggily came to her senses.

"Damn! He got you good," Kali said, noticing Chris's bleeding wound and pointing at it.

"Kali, I think he took Ash," Chris said, his voice trembling.

"Well, then let's go find her—and Josh," Kali replied determinedly as Chris grabbed a flashlight.

The two moved cautiously down the hallway when, suddenly, a crow flew out of nowhere.

"What the fuck?" Chris exclaimed.

"Where are these birds coming from? Inside?" Kali muttered to herself, but she froze when her eyes landed on blood smeared across the wall. Panic set in.

"Oh no. No. No. You don't think...they killed him, do you?" she asked, running over to inspect the blood before turning to Chris.

"Trust me, Josh is still alive," Chris tried to reassure her.

"I can't believe you. There's blood on the freaking wall!" Kali pointed out, her voice rising in panic. She took a deep breath, calmed herself, and continued following Chris.

At the end of the hallway, they found a door completely open to the outside.

"Ash!" Chris yelled.

"Josh!" Kali screamed.

Neither received a response. They exchanged worried looks and headed outside, down the stairs, shouting for their friends.

As they followed a faint light down the trail, a horrific sight stopped them in their tracks—a rotted body dummy jumped out at them.

"This person sucks!" Kali exclaimed angrily.

"What even is this?" she added as they walked past the dummy, only to find a pig's head on the ground.

"Aw...shit," Chris muttered as Kali looked away, disgusted.

Realizing the path was a dead end, Kali spotted another trail and ran ahead, with Chris struggling to keep up. She stopped when she noticed something unusual on the ground.

"Weird..." she mumbled, picking up what looked like a totem.

As she examined it, the totem flashed purple, revealing a horrifying vision: MIKE MISSING A SWING AT JOSH AND ACCIDENTALLY HITTING KALI, CAUSING HER TO FALL ONTO A SAW TABLE. THE SAW RIPPED THROUGH HER AS SHE SCREAMED, WHILE TRYING TO GET OUT WHILE THE OTHERS PANICKED AS JOSH PANICKED SCREAMING OUT FOR HER.

Kali flipped the totem back around and placed it on the ground before continuing down the path, eventually stopping in front of a cabin.

Chris caught up with her, panting. "I think they're in here—I can hear her," he said as they entered, following Ashley's cries for help.

"Ashley, where are you?" Chris called out.

"I-I-I don't know!" Ashley sobbed.

"We're going to find you," Kali reassured her, stopping in shock as she spotted two lights outside the fence. Beyond them, Ashley was tied up, crying, while Josh was unconscious.

"Ashley? Josh!" Kali yelled, running to the fence and shaking it, desperate to open it. Chris appeared beside her.

"Hello, and thank you all for joining me," a distorted voice said.

"Oh my god! Josh, wake up!" Ashley cried as he stirred.

"Tonight, we're going to conduct a little experiment," the voice continued as Chris tried to break into the room.

"What is this?" Josh asked, groggily.

"A test," the voice answered.

"What's going on?" Ashley whimpered.

"For this experiment, we'll need the cooperation of two test subjects: Joshua and Ashley," the psycho explained.

"What!?" Ashley cried, her voice trembling.

"Holy shit," Josh murmured.

"But we'll also need one more brave participant...to decide which of the two will live and which will die," the psycho said.

"You can't kill them!" Kali screamed, slamming her hands on the door.

"Chris! Get us out of here!" Ashley pleaded.

"No! Let me down, you maniac!" Josh yelled.

The psycho continued, unfazed. "Christopher, you'll find a lever in front of you. All you have to do...is choose who you will save."

The saw activated with a loud screech, and Ashley and Josh both screamed.

"Chris, you can't let me die!" Ashley begged.

"Dude...buddy..." Josh stammered. "Think this through, man."

Chris froze, overstimulated and unable to think clearly.

"Kali! Chris! Guys! Please!" Josh begged desperately.

"Oh my God! Chris! You can't let me die!" Ashley sobbed.

"Dude... buddy... let's just think about this for a minute," Josh pleaded as Chris froze, overwhelmed and overstimulated, retreating to the corner in an attempt to calm down.

"You can't let him die! Please, Chris!" Kali begged, her voice trembling as though her own life was on the line.

"Just, just, just... Gimme a second. I can't think straight," Chris stammered.

"Ashley, I'll get you out of this. I won't let you die!" Chris promised, his voice shaky.

"Chris! He's your best friend!" Kali cried, her voice rising with urgency.

"Thank you... thank you!" Ashley said, a glimmer of hope in her voice.

"No... Please, no!" Josh cried, his voice cracking. Kali pounded on the fence in frustration.

"Josh! I'm not letting you die! Baby, I swear! I'm going to help you, and you're going to be okay," Kali said, her breath hitching with every word.

"I will never forgive you, Christopher, if you kill your own best friend—my boyfriend—over some girl you like! Especially after his sisters are possibly dead! I will hate you forever if you think that's the right choice!" Kali shouted, tears streaming down her face before she turned back to the fence.

"Hey, baby, it's your star. I'm getting you out of here," Kali said, her voice softer but no less determined. "I'm so sorry, Ashley, but maybe this is all just a joke. I swear nothing will happen to you, too!"

"Mi amor, I would never, never let you die!" Kali cried out to Josh, who was still pleading for his life.

"Kali! Please! Please! I don't want to go!" Josh begged, his voice full of fear.

"Please! I want more time together! Please, I love you! Chris, you're my best bud—I don't want to go out like this! Please, buddy!" Josh begged, his desperation growing.

"Chris... I know you like her. But you have a brain and a heart, and you know you want to save him," Kali said, her voice shaking with emotion.

Chris, overcome with guilt, hesitated before pulling the lever to save Ashley. Kali let out a sigh of relief as the mechanism locked into place.

"I see you have chosen to save... Ashley!" the psycho announced as the saw began to move toward Josh. Both Chris and Kali froze, confused and horrified.

"No, you motherfucker! Let him live! Please! He doesn't deserve this!", Kali screamed, her voice breaking as she pounded on the fence.

"GUYS!!!" Josh begged, his voice filled with terror.

"I thought we were friends, man! I thought we were friends! Why would you do this?!" Josh cried out, his voice raw with betrayal.

"No! No! No!" Kali yelled, frantically hitting the fence as tears streamed down her face.

"This is madness! I didn't...!" Chris stammered, his voice cracking as he watched helplessly.

Chris covered his eyes, unable to bear the sight, while Ashley continued freaking out as though she were the one dying. Meanwhile, Kali cried out in agony for her boyfriend, her voice breaking as she watched him being sawed in half before her very eyes. Josh's screams echoed through the room, filling her with despair.

Kali collapsed to her knees, sobbing uncontrollably as the saw came to a stop. Ashley, still in a state of shock, whimpered, "What's going on?"

The door creaked open, and Chris quickly ran to Ashley, shielding her eyes as he helped her out into the snow. After ensuring she was safe, he turned back to go inside for Kali.

"Kali, come on," he urged, his voice strained as he struggled to lift her. She resisted, too consumed by grief to move.

"No! No! No! He's still alive! Please! Please! Josh! Baby! No! I didn't even say goodbye!" Kali wailed, her cries heart-wrenching as Chris finally managed to drag her out into the snow.

Val walked out of the lodge and spotted Matt and Emily nearby.

"Are you guys done screwing around? Probably, because I can't find—" Val began, but Matt interrupted her.

"Kali! Chris! Ashley!" Matt shouted, his voice filled with urgency.

The three of them turned to see Kali, Chris, and Ashley struggling to make their way down to them. Matt and Emily immediately ran to help.

"Ash? Whose blood is that?!" Emily asked, her face pale with shock.

Kali nearly collapsed to her knees, overcome by emotion, but Val caught her just in time.

"Chris! What happened? Why is she like this? Why is she covered in blood? Are you guys okay?" Val asked, her voice rising with concern.

"J-Josh!" Chris managed to choke out.

"Josh? What happened, dude?" Matt asked, his worry intensifying.

"He's dead! He died right in front of us, man! Right in front of us! This maniac!" Chris stammered, struggling to catch his breath.

"What?! Oh my God! We need to get out of here!" Emily exclaimed as Val held Kali, who was too shaken to stand on her own.

"It was a saw," Kali sobbed. "He had to choose—to save him or Ashley! But they tricked him! They killed him like it was nothing! His sisters are gone! He's gone!"

"I watched my boyfriend—the one I've been with for almost five years—get split in half right in front of my eyes! And I couldn't do anything! We couldn't do anything!" Kali cried hysterically, her words spilling out in a flood of grief.

"Guts and all... it was everywhere," Chris added quietly, his face pale. "I tried."

"What? Chris, what are you even saying?" Val and Emily asked simultaneously, their confusion laced with horror.

"No. No. We need to get help. Now!" Emily said firmly.

"We're going to figure this out," Matt replied, trying to stay calm.

"No, Matt, we need to go now!" Emily insisted.

"We need to find the others first, Emily," Matt countered.

"Mike and Jess are probably off 69'ing each other, and we have no idea where Sam is," Emily snapped.

"She's in the lodge," Val interjected. "Maybe you two can go find Sam while we look for the rest and then head for help!"

"Well—" Matt started, but Emily cut him off.

"Go now! All of you!" Emily demanded.

"I'll go with them," Val said quickly. "Watch my sister!"

Chris nodded, struggling to keep his composure as Val steadied Kali.
