Having a free day was the best thing I ever had in a such a long time, I get to do a publish soon with Christopher and it is going really well. I decide to get dressed to get comfy, the project was going to take place at the field but the weather was bad and muddy so chris decided to come over today. I throw on some sweatpants and a sweatshirt, I did a light makeup look and put my hair up into a bun. Minutes later i hear a notification on my phone suggesting that Chris texted me.

I'm outside
I look at the text message and head to the door, seconds later he knocks. I open the door.
"hey come in" I smile at him, he is honestly so handsome.
"hey you ready to start?"
"mhm let's go sit at the kitchen table"
they head towards the table and sit.
"so how was your day so far?" he breaks the silence between us.
"It was good so far, how about you?"
"it was nice and chill, the rain makes it feel even better"
"rain is honestly the best"

Chris just admires her facial features as she speaks making him smile, she really made his past few days the best days ever.
"so Chris what do you want the poem to be about?"
"maybe something about two people falling in love and learning that they are better together than without one another?"

"okay let's get to work and we can publish it after"
he nods and we get to work.

I'm so content with how the poem turned out, every words i said i was thinking about chris. He was truly my favorite person to be around especially since our hangout together, he was fun and very outgoing I love that about him. It was more to him than just his charm, it was his personality, voice and everything else that came with him I stood in awe of.

She was sitting directly next to me, my heart stood still and my soul felt warm, Kiyomi was truly my happy place. she made me smile and feel so calm, i always had a soft side and she seemed to bring that out of me when it came to her.

"Christopher?"
"yes?"
"when you said you liked me before, what did you like about me?"
"kiyomi, i liked your hair, eyes , and your smile. i still do, when i talked to you that day i felt so complete, i have felt this way about you for years and i know i'm telling you this to soon and i want to tell you because i don't want there to be an misunderstanding between us. I wrote poems about you for 365 days straight, we finally spoke and i felt so happy to speak to you. I treated you like an outsider in high school, you were so sweet, pretty, considerate, and kind. I was rude and caught up in popularity and I'm sorry."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing I look at him with gloomy eyes and smile. This kid was so cute explaining himself.
"you really feel all of that?"
"mhm, i know i said too much."

I just admire his face and everything that comes with him and we stare at each other, we lean in until we hear a knock on the door startling the both of us.
I head to the door and open it.
"sorry I ruined the moment but hey girl!"
"nick dude."
"sorry chris"
we all laughed together.
"you didn't ruin anything, come in nick"
we talked for a few moments and I looked at Nick

"you remember my best friend Madison right?"
"yeah Cianna was talking about her yesterday, she said how pretty she was"
"aww that's actually so cute, Madison said she thinks Cianna is pretty"
"Nick i think they like each other" Chris says smiling.
"welp i hope the lovers find their way together, and don't even get me started with Matt and Aliza. they've been hanging out together ever since this evening and it's so cute, it honestly makes me feel sick." Nick laughs.
"honestly im happy for those two"
"Chris are you okay?"

I look at Chris with a worried look and Nick stands up, Chris falls almost hitting the floor, nick and I catch him.
"Chris!!! hey kid, wake up"
I run out to get some water, i grab a cup of water and run over to pour it on his face just to see him laughing.

"Chris what the fuck I thought you died"
"you should've seen your face Kiyomi" he says laughing.
"that wasn't funny oh my god I almost had a panic attack"
"fuck you Chris" Nick says holding his chest.
"get up" I say sternly.
as he gets up I push him down and we all burst out laughing.
"Kiyomi what the hell"
"that's what you get now we're even" she smiles at him.
"are we though?" he looks at me and tilts his head smiling
"okay cuties stop flirting, we need to talk about everything else that happened yesterday. it was going good until Chris interrupted."
"oh my god we are not flirting Nick"

Nick and Chris leave after everything is over with. gosh why didn't I hang out with them sooner? they are so much fun to be around especially Cianna, she is such a sweet heart and we got so close in a span of one day. I really found peace being here and something to be happy about. I honestly love being here around people that care about me so much, I feel loved and I absolutely enjoyed loving them.
