WARNING: cuddling with dad, teenage daughter x dad dean, getting hit in the head with a book????

It was your typical day at the bunker, everyone was minding their own business and not bothering each other. Maybe the reason why it is a bit quiet is because Dean got sick. Nothing too serious, just his allergies flaring up. Sam just wants his older brother to get better so that he doesn't have to hear him blowing his nose every second. Okay, it feels like it. But it is starting to become the last thing that he wants to hear.

Dean has a thirteen-year-old daughter named Victoria, or Tori. As she prefers to be called Tori as Victoria sounds like her government name. Her full name is Victoria Jade Winchester. Which is a mouth full as sometimes Dean can't say his daughter's name right sometimes. Luckily, she isn't that kid that gets into trouble that much. Which saves him from using his 'dad voice'. Tori is actually a quiet girl who would prefer reading and or living her life as a teenager than go on any hunts.

Though there are sometimes very far in between where Dean would let Tori come with them. Even then she'd bring a couple books with her, to keep her busy. Luckily, she hasn't had the chance to do that as for one; Dean is sick; second of all they haven't had a hunt in over two weeks. Which is fine for Tori as she is a daddy's girl as she hates when her Dad is away.

Tori is taking care of her Dad because he is sick mainly because all Dean wants to do is snuggle with his daughter and try to spend as much time together even if he is sick. Neither of them really seem to care, so that is all that matters. Sam likes it being quiet, but it got a little too quiet in the bunker. He got up from his desk in his room and went to Dean's and his sick brother wasn't in there. It made the younger brother concerned as the last thing that he remembered was that his brother went to his room. When did he leave his room? Is what Sam wants to know.

He closed his brother's door and walked towards Tori's room which of course was decked out between Taylor Swift and Harry Potter. Two of her favorite things. He opened the door to Tori's room and that's when he sees his brother cuddling with his daughter even if she is in her wolf form.

Yes, Tori is a wolf. It came to a shock to Dean when Tori was ten years old, which was three years old. On a hunt, Tori ended up getting bitten by a wolf, and then next thing that Dean knew was that Tori was hiding in the corner of her closest in her wolf form. She thought that because she was a wolf and a 'monster' that she would be the very thing that her and uncle hunt. So, with some reassurance from Dean that she isn't a monster. She slowly became not so insecure about her ability to transform into a wolf. Which ended up taking longer that anyone wanted. After he found out he wanted to make her as comfortable as possible.

After a moment of watching the father of Tori, gently rubbing his daughter fur (rubbing her back(, Sam left the two alone. He went back reading his book that he knows that the two would make fun of. It is a history book and the Titanic for some reason. Why? He will never know

the next day

Tori was the first one to wake up in the bunker, so he gently out of her father's grasp, without waking him up. She walked out of her room and around the corner to her Uncle's room. No surprise, he was still sleeping. He is an old man for that. In the morning is typically when Tori will go on her wolf run as she calls it. After she saw that the coast was clear, she went to the kitchen and wrote a quick not and stuck it on the fridge.

Dean and Sam know what the girl does as it took a lot of convincing as Dean is a little over protective of Tori and doesn't want her to get hurt. Sam let her go on her runs in the morning, when Dean was still sleeping in the morning. Just as long as she is careful that is all that Sam really cares about. Is his nieces safety

When Tori comes back to the bunker, just as Sam finishes making breakfast. Her Dad was eating toast and cereal, which is what he has been eating for the past couple days. Tori walked to the island in the kitchen and sat next to her Dad and immediately digging into her food, which was pancakes and bacon. Sam knows how hungry Tori gets after her morning runs, so he added a stack of pancakes. Dean looked over at his daughter, who was stuffing her face full of pancakes.

"It isn't going to go anywhere." Dean tells his daughter as she slowly chews her food. But when he wasn't looking she went back to stuffing herself. Sam chuckled at his niece as he got a glass of orange juice and put it by her plate as she gave a thumbs-up as a response. "I know." Tori says to her Dad as he took another bite out of his toast wishing he had bacon. He calls himself the 'meat man', which is something that greatly annoys Sam as he eats 'rabbit food', which is what Dean and Tori calls it.

After breakfast, Tori went back to her den, which was her room. She had some music playing in the background, which was a random playlist that she had clicked on. It just so happened to be a rock playlist, which is what her Dad listens to as he has numerous cassette tapes to. Which Sam likes to make fun of, while Tori, on the other hand. She loves it. It is her favorite genre, to be honest. Other than Taylor Swift but that is a story for another day.

Tori was putting away her clean clothes that had been sitting in her laundry basket for the past couple days. She is mouthing the lyrics of Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. Which is one of her Dad's favorite songs to listen to. It isn't that loud, like blaring loud, but just loud enough where she can hear it. "It's the eye of the tiger. It is the thrill of the fight. Risin' up to the challenge of our rival." Tori sings quietly to herself.

She heard her bed squeaking, which made her grab a book and toss it at the person. Without looking to see who it was. Before the person had time to register that a book was flying in the direction of their face. Right at the top of their head. When she saw it was her Dad, she winced as the book had hit his face. "Sorry." She apologizes as Dean had tossed the Order of the Phoenix book back at her. Which is the biggest Harry Potter book there is. Which works as a weapon for her at least. "Did you not hear my footsteps?" Dean asked her, as she shook her head as an answer.

Dean was rubbing his head where his daughter had tossed the book. Which was awfully rude of her if he is being honest. But because Tori is cute, he is going to let it slide. Just then, Sam was in the doorway. He was leaning against the doorframe of his nieces room. "Dean, what did you do to Tori?" Sam asked immediately accusing his brother of something. Which is always his general question whenever the two are together and Dean is rubbing his head. Dean looked at his brother in disbelief as Sam just had a grin on his face. The older brother rolled his eyes at his younger brother.

"Dean, we have talked about this: do not sneak up on Tori." Sam says like he is talking to a child who doesn't listen. Well, he was just an adult child who definitely doesn't listen and is obsessed with pie. Also, who loves Baby. Dean continues to give his brother a look, which is making Sam amused by this. "I didn't sneak up on her, Samuel. I scared her." Dean says to his brother as Tori finishes putting her clothes in her dresser. "She hit me with a book. She's mean." Dean says as he grabs a tissue and blew his nose, which makes Sam's nose scrunch up in disgust at hearing that sound.

"It's the same thing." Tori says, waving her hand, which made Dean slightly jump at his daughter. He turned towards his daughter and rolled his eyes at her. "Next time, don't hit me with a book. God, that thing is a weapon itself." Dean says as Tori nods her head at her Dad with a smile. "Dean, don't be an idiot." Sam says before he realizes that Dean isn't actually dying from being hit in the head with a book. He then went back in the direction of his room.

"I thought with your wolfy senses that you knew." Dean says to his daughter as she closed a drawer in her dresser, and put her laundry basket on the ground somewhere. "You thought that because I am now part wolf, that I automatically sensed that?" Tori asked as Dean nods his head at his daughter. "I mean, yeah." Dean says to his daughter, which makes her shake her head. "Trust me, that it is not how it works. Believe me, I have tried. But I will be stuck like this for the rest of my life." Tori says to her Dad as he looks at her.

She had always been so open and talkative about her being a wolf shifter. He knows that something is bothering her because, she went quiet, which is almost rare as she is highly talkative, especially around him and Sam. She thinks that she is cursed of this. Sometimes she wishes that it never happened, but it is a blessing on some degree of it. The more that she has been thinking about it, the more that she realizes that she wishes that it never happened in the first place. Dean scooted over on Tori's bed, and she sat down leaning her head on her headboard on her bed. She sighed as she started picking at her fingernails, which is a habit of hers when she is nervous and or her anxiety is bothering her.

"Everything alright?" He asked her as he grabbed her right hand so that she wasn't picking at her nails. She leaned her head onto her Dad's shoulder. He knew that when she didn't say anything, he knew that she wasn't okay. He feels bad for her as he blames him for his daughter being part wolf now.

All because she got bitten by one when she was ten. No kid should go through that. If only him and Sam had gotten there just before it happened. Then Tori wouldn't have gotten bitten by the wolf. "Why me?" Was what Tori muttered to her Dad as he moved a strain of her hair that was in the way. "Why me, Dad?" She asked as Dean didn't have an answer for that.

"I don't know, baby. Believe me, I don't. But just know that it isn't a curse like you think it is. It is a blessing in disguise." He reassured her as he leaned down to her head and gave it a kiss, bringing her into his arms. Knowing that is what the two of them wanted. For different reasons. But it keeps them safe, when they have each other.
