As soon as Jake heard your words, he smiled and exhaled with relief and a breathy laugh. In the distance, he could hear the screeching of thousands of Ikrans approaching from the mountains and the forest. Eywa truly had heard their pleas.
All of the banshees did not hesitate in heading towards all of the remaining fleets and aircrafts still in formation. The Ikrans took down the ships one by one, using their claws to damage the rotor blades and tails of the helicopters. The overwhelming amount of these ferocious flying creatures was too much for the pilots to handle, so they lost control of their ships and spiraled around in the air uncontrollably.
Seeing this, Jake continued to steer Toruk towards where most ships were concentrated in. "Come on!" He yelled with a growl, readying his gun in his hands and aiming it toward his targets with precision.
The Ikrans used their hunting instinctive nature the best to their advantage. The banshees proceeded to use their razor-sharp teeth to bite inside the ships and into the gunmen on the sides, sinking their teeth into their bodies and tossing them out of the ship.
Down in the forest, packs of Viperwolves appeared from every direction, racing directly towards the RDA soldiers, who were now attempting to retreat to their helicopters. As you watched from afar, you smirked to yourself. You weren't very vengeful, but seeing those men get what they deserved filled you with satisfaction. It serves them right.
Many of the Viperwolves were able to jump onto some soldiers and bite down on their bodies, killing them instantly. You and Neytiri left your spot behind the tree and raced toward where the Viperwolves were heading and fired arrow after arrow. We both yelled out war cries as we stayed in sync while firing the arrows with incredible precision.
While Neytiri continued ahead to fight alongside the Viperwolves, you jumped over a log and fired another arrow, hitting a soldier straight in the face. Before you could fire another one, a fully grown Palulukan jumped and emerged from the bushes and approached you slowly. You didn't let it intimidate you, and you looked at the animal with intrigue.
When it roared and hissed, it didn't phase you. You couldn't blame this animal for being defensive. Its home was being torn down, and it probably sees anything as an enemy, whether it was Na'vi or human. Surprisingly, the Palulukan lowered its fangs and lowered its head as it let out a low rumble, as a sign that it didn't recognize you as a threat. At the animals' actions, you smiled and exhaled slowly.
You approached it, and since it didn't make any aggressive movements or show any signs that it wanted you to back off, you connected your braid with its queue and created a bond. Feeling the animal's emotions inside and out, you could feel how much instant trust it had in you. With no hesitation, you guided it to where you wanted it to go and headed to battle.
Even after being disconnected from his Avatar body, Norm proceeded to leave the base in his human form with a gun in his grasp. He traveled through the jungle as his ragged breath hit his mask over and over. The adrenaline was truly wearing him out.
Quaritch was still in the same main ship as before. He truly was starting to be concerned about the sudden attack they received. He was beginning to think they were gaining the upper hand, but this was completely unexpected.
"Sir! All escorts are down or falling back!" The pilot said, and Quaritch's eyes widened. Things were starting to go downhill quickly. "Let's get this done. Valkyrie 1-6, this is Dragon. Press to target," He sneered, walking to watch what was happening outside of the ship.
"Copy, pressing to target. Stand by to drop. 30 seconds," The main pilot said, seeing that his vision was being clouded in the window because many Ikrans were invading it and not letting any visibility be possible. Their last trick up their sleeve was still the blocks of explosives that they had yet to activate.
Down at the base of the Tree of Souls, Mo'at was watching with worry how the main ship was quickly approaching the tree, ready to bomb it completely. Before that could happen, Jake rode Toruk as fast as he could to reach the ship and prevent them from dropping bombs.
Once he was close enough, Jake detached his bond with Toruk temporarily and leaped off of the giant banshee, landing on the top deck of the ship. Upon impact, Jake's body rolled and then he was quickly back on his feet. When he reached the first group of soldiers in front of him, he began shooting at the men in front of him, leaping over them and firing his gun with just one hand, continuing to run afterward.
"On my mark. Two, one, mark" One of the pilots said, giving the go-ahead to the soldiers in charge of dropping the bombs. "Drop! Drop! Drop! Go, go, go!" The commander yelled, gesturing quickly with his hands for the men to begin pushing the explosives. Without any second to spare, the men began to push it toward the end of the ramp, aiming directly toward the Tree of Souls.
Knowing that the explosives were about to be dropped onto the tree below, Jake ran as fast he could to the propellers of the ship he grabbed a grenade, pulled the pin, and dropped it onto the engines. He ran to the edge and Toruk arrived just in time to catch him, and then Jake took off as the explosion went off behind him.
Because of the explosion, the ship started to detour and steer to the side due to the loss of an engine. Since it started to tilt, the explosives never made it out of the ship and rolled back inside, crushing to death the soldiers that were supposed to push the bombs off.
The ship with the explosives eventually detoured so much that it was headed straight toward the ground. When the aircraft made an impact with the ground, the explosives went off and the impact looked as if an atomic bomb was happening. It was so big that it tipped off the main ship where Quaritch was to the side.
"Brace!" Quaritch yelled out, making everyone on the ship hold on tightly and stumble as the ship veered to the side. Toruk could be seen flying over the ship, but Jake wasn't riding the giant creature, and it confused Quaritch momentarily. Where was he?
Little did he know that Jake had jumped off of Toruk once and landed on the top deck of the main ship. He pulled out two grenades and pulled their pins, ready to throw them at the engine of the ship. If he took this one down, the biggest hurdle would've been cleared.
"It's Sully!" Quaritch seethed, seeing Jake through the ceiling window. The Avatar was about to throw the grenades toward their turbines, but the Colonel wasn't going to let that happen. Quaritch quickly grabbed the handle that steered the ship, and tilted it to the side, making the ship tip sideways. Jake stumbled on his feet but as he fell, he still managed to throw one of them.
The grenade he managed to throw while the other fell off overboard, and landed right on one of the wind turbines of the ship. Before Jake fell into the abyss, he managed to grab onto the side of the ship that held missiles ready to be launched. The one grenade that stayed on the ship, exploded, creating a big void in the ship that let massive amounts of the toxic Pandoran air seep inside the aircraft.
Alarms began to blare because oxygen was running out and the air of Pandora was toxic enough to leave you unconscious in just a few seconds. "Mask on! Breach alarm!" The pilot yelled while everyone struggled to get their oxygen masks on.
Meanwhile, Jake was still hanging off the side of the ship. He attempted to pull himself up to get back up, but he couldn't and fell back down, accidentally releasing one of the missiles into his grasp. He immediately came up with an idea, and this time, he was able to pull himself up and let his eyes search for the main propellers of the aircraft.
When he had his eye on one of the turbines and prepared himself to launch the missile with his hand, Quaritch saw this and headed towards one of the emergency exits. The Colonel propped open the latch and was face to face with Jake. Quaritch shot a few times in attempts to hit Jake but missed because the bullets bounced off of the metal, and this allowed Jake to throw the missile and push himself away from the ship as the missile hit the turbines and the propeller exploded.
As Jake let go from the ship and he was now free falling from the sky, Quaritch fell back inside as the side of the ship exploded. His arm was lit on fire, and he attempted to pat it down as he climbed onto an unused Ampsuit. The main ship was steering uncontrollably every which way, and Quaritch was beginning to start up the suit so he could get out of there.
Jake was still falling towards the forest, and when he reached the level of the trees and fell through the branches, he steered his body to try and find anything that he could hold onto. He tried to grab onto vines, giant leaves, branches, tree trunks, and anything that could break his fall and diminish the impact.
Suddenly, he remembered what you taught him months before and he started using the technique of using the giant leaves to slow him down, and it worked, because in no time, he landed on the ground safely with only a couple of vines around him, but he quickly brushed them off. Jake continued to run for a few seconds to regain his balance and then stopped to look upwards. The ship was colliding and falling hopelessly, making him smile with pride.
Right in the nick of time, Quaritch was able to get his Ampsuit ready and he jumped off of the ship right before it exploded and he landed in the forest ground nearby with a blast. After a few more seconds to catch his breath, he growled with anger and set off to find Jake.
You had successfully tamed the Palulukan and you rode on it through the forest toward the explosion. You figured it was where Jake would be. You asked Neytiri if she could come with you, but she insisted she would take care of the remaining soldiers, and you agreed to meet up with her later on.
The Thanator roared as you rode on it towards the small base where you knew Jake's human body was and Quaritch was approaching it with his Ampsuit. The Colonel was about to aim for the pod your mate was in, but then he saw in his rearview mirror that you were approaching quickly behind him with a vengeful and angry expression on your face.
When you were close enough, you mentally commanded the Palulukan to leap into the air and then land on the back of the Ampsuit, but quickly jumped off and landed on the ground. You let out a war cry at the same time as the Thanator roared in anger, given that your emotions were mirrored with the animals'.
In defense, Quaritch lifted the arms of the Ampsuit and blocked your attack, pushing the Palulukan away as you lunged at him again. The creature roared, going back in to attack the Colonel as you stayed on its back. The Thanator landed back on its feet and then lunged at the Ampsuit once more, knocking Quaritch to the ground.
You guided the Palulukan to lunge back at Quaritch as he began to shoot aimlessly trying to get you off of bim. The creature you rode roared again and leaped over Quaritch pinning him down in his suit as you began to command the Thanator through the bond to thrash back and forth against a rock until you broke apart his arm with the gun and a giant knife.
While turning back around to face Quaritch, the Colonel raised his fist and his arm, winding up a fist, and punched the Palulukan directly in the face, making the creature hiss in pain. Out of instinct, the animal backed off momentarily, circling the Ampsuit menacingly.
Quaritch reached out a hand again to attempt to grab onto you from the Thanator, but the creature moved away just in time. You guided your Palulukan to lunge at the Colonel again, but he used his Ampsuit to swing you against a tree, as well as the Thanator.
The bond separated momentarily because of the impact, but you reconnected your queue to the animal and repositioned yourself in its back before continuing to fight. The Palulukan hissed while baring its frills and fangs. Quaritch repositioned himself in a fighting stance that his Ampsuit mirrored.
"Come on. Come to papa," Quaritch seethed and growled, feeling the blood trickle down his forehead, but he didn't care at all.
Hissing at Quaritch, the Thanator leaped again with you on its back, but the Colonel suddenly pulled out s dagger and stabbed the side of the Palulukan. Because of the bond, you cried out and screamed out in agonizing pain, feeling what the creature was enduring. It was awful and gut-wrenching. The Thanator screeched in pain, feeling Quaritch's blade stab it again and again with no mercy.
The Colonel tossed the body of the creature away somewhere else in the field that you were brawling in. You and the Thanator rolled on the ground to the point that you were trapped between a log and the creature itself. Your legs and the bottom half of your body were stuck because of the weight of the Palulukan.
Before you could do anything else, Quaritch stomped his way over to you and the Thanator, raising his blade and then deeply stabbing the creature right in the heart, making you let out s blood-curdling scream at the pain you felt. This animal was suffering in its last moments, and you were feeling all of it.
That wasn't enough, because Quaritch twisted the blade further, causing you and the animal even more agony up until the moment the Palulukan died and gave its last breath. You groaned through the pain as you tried to move away from under the body of the Thanator, but it was hopeless. You were trapped underneath its body with no way out while Quaritch removed the blade.
The Colonel looked down at you, seeing you struggling to move and wiggle yourself free. He smirked, but you only glared at him and hissed, baring your teeth threateningly. It didn't seem to matter to him, because Quaritch raised the blade again, about to strike down on you.
"Give it up, Quaritch!" Jake's voice rang from nearby until he suddenly landed from the trees and down to the ground next to the base where his human body was. Quaritch's attention went from you to Jake quickly, giving you time to try to free yourself.
"It's all over," Jake breathed out, looking over at you for a moment, relieved that you were okay. He had heard your pained scream from nearby and he would be lying if he said his heart didn't drop when he heard it. Seeing you alive, filled his entire being with relief.
Jake turned back to Quaritch and eyed the blade of his knife that was already stained with blood from the Thanator. Jake is just glad that the blood isn't yours. At least he hoped.
"Nothing's over while I'm breathing," Quaritch seethed, flipping the knife the other way so that it was pointing at another angle.
"I kinda hoped you'd say that," Jake said lowly, not wasting any time in charging at the Colonel at the same time Quaritch lunged at him.
Before Jake reached him, he grabbed a piece of the gun that you had broken off earlier and used it to block the attack of Quaritch's dagger. Their fight seemed endless as they dodged one another, collided multiple times with each other's weapons, and lunged multiple times.
As Jake jumped over a root to avoid Quaritch's attack, the Colonel came down with his dagger it didn't land on Jake but it crashed on the tree root, making it explode into tiny little splinters everywhere. Jake turned back around and continued to spar, defending himself with the piece of metal he found before, and before he knew it, Jake had caught the dagger in it and twisted it around, breaking it in half so that it left Quaritch defenseless.
Resuming their fight, Jake and the Colonel continued to swing at one another relentlessly. The Avatar took the opportunity to leap onto a branch and then come back down with a war cry, stabbing the blade through the glass of Quaritch's Ampsuit. The toxic Pandora air was starting to seep through, making the man inside gasp deeply for breath. Quaritch braced himself to pull off the blade, and when he did, more toxic air rushed into his suit.
When he got it off, Jake was already in a fighting stance and prepared to continue. The Colonel tried to swing the shard to hit Jake, but the Avatar ducked and the blade hit the window right by Jake's pod, making it crack.
While the two men continued to fight, you were still trying to lift the Palulukan's body off of yours. You grunted and groaned, but eventually were able to lift your lower body out, but your legs were still trapped. You couldn't just sit back and watch this fight happen without doing anything at all.
"Come on!" Jake yelled, circling Quaritch with a blade in his hand. It's the same one that was attached to the holder strapped across his chest if he needed it.
Quaritch was about to attack Jake again, but the shattered windshield in front of him made it too hard to see. Having no other option, the Colonel pressed the eject button on the window, letting it fly off somewhere as it popped open. Before he ran out of air, he grabbed a nearby mask and pulled it on his face, waiting a few seconds for the oxygen to kick in as he gasped for air.
Jake remained in a fighting stance, holding his dagger in his grip, breathing heavily as he growled at Quaritch. He wouldn't let his guard down now, especially since you were so close and wanted to direct the fight away from you.
"Hey, Sully. How's it feel to betray your own race?" Quaritch asked, but the only thing he got in response was an intense and strong hiss from Jake, showing his canines. The Colonel shook his head and laughed. "You think you're one of them? Time to wake up" Quaritch growled, heading towards the base that had the pod with Jake's human form inside.
Realizing what he was about to do, Jake's eyes widened as he saw Quaritch smash his mechanical arm through the window and smashed the first pod he came across. When it opened and it was empty, he realized it wasn't Jake's so he moved on to the next. Before Quaritch could smash the next pod, Jake leaped on top of the Ampsuit and tried to stab Quaritch with his knife.
Feeling Jake on top of his suit, the Colonel moved around trying to get Jake to get off. The Avatar took the first chance he could and he swung the blade downward, stabbing the seat just inches away from Quaritch's neck.
The Ampsuit's arm came around and grabbed Jake, grabbing, and throwing him off across the field. His body rolled on the ground for a few seconds before trying to stand up, but since the toxic air was seeping through Jake's pod, making the ex-marine struggle to breathe inside the link in his human form, Jake in his Avatar body stumbled to stand up and collapsed back on the ground with a gasp.
Jake was coughing inside the pod, and his eyes flew open, but then he took a deep breath and closed his eyes to reconnect the link. Jake gasped as he opened his eyes and was in his Avatar body. He didn't get much time to react, because Quaritch grabbed his hair, including his braid, and pulled him up in the air. The Avatar screamed out in pain, making your heart ache as you watched, trying to free yourself desperately. Jake was left dangling while the Colonel brought the ex-marine closer.
You finally were able to bring your leg out, now all you needed was to free the other. You began to panic as you saw Quaritch grab Jake's dagger and press it to his neck, so you pulled harder and you were finally free.
You didn't waste any time rushing to grab your father's bow which was only a few feet away from you. Running towards it, you grabbed it and notched an arrow to aim it at Quaritch. Seeing the Colonel press the knife harder to Jake's neck, you released your arrow, and it landed directly on Quaritch's chest. The man in the Ampsuit dropped Jake as he gasped in pain.
To make sure he died, knowing one arrow wasn't enough, you notched another onto your bow and released it to let it strike right where his heart was, just above the one you shot previously. Having no control over his body anymore, much less the machine, Quaritch fell with the machine. You raced over to your mate and crouched protectively over his body, hissing at Colonel.
Seeing that they were out of danger in the meantime, you turned to look at Jake and saw that he was unresponsive and unconscious. "Jake? Ma Jake!" You said, placing your hands on his chest to shake him slightly.
Meanwhile, In his human form, Jake's pod opened and he was suffocating and gasping. He had no oxygen left and the Pandora air was intoxicating his lungs, making his throat close up. He saw a mask across from his pod, so he shoved his wheelchair out of the way and fell to the ground, crawling his way up to the capsule that had the emergency mask, but he quickly ran out of energy as he struggled to reach it.
He struggled to breathe as he tried to grab it again, but there was some sort of latch that was holding the mask in place and he simply did not have the strength for that. Eventually, Jake gave out and his body involuntarily landed on the ground. He began to let out shallow breaths as he began to pant quickly and his pupils were dilating. His eyes were closed but then opened, starting to feel less and less air come into his lungs with every second that passed.
As you inspected his face outside to get him to wake up, you quickly realized that his mind wasn't in that body anymore. You ran inside through the shattered window, looking around for him until you saw him on the ground. Without hesitation, you went over to him and picked up his small human body in your arms. You could tell he wasn't breathing at all.
"Jake! Ma Jake!" You called out for him, but you got no response. Not knowing what to do, you looked around and saw a mask dangling from its case, so you grabbed it, put it over his face, and then waited. It wasn't staying still, so you only hoped that he would wake up and he would adjust it accordingly. He had to make it.
"Please, Jake...I can't do this without you, wake up..." You pleaded, feeling tears brim your eyes. You held the mask close to his face, hoping he would start breathing. Thankfully, Jake's eyes regained their light and they fluttered open. He coughed harshly, trying to get air back into his lungs. Instinctively, he reached up and twisted the lock on the bottom of the mask, sealing it with an air-tight grip so that he has oxygen.
When he began to breathe normally again, he looked up at me as his eyes softened. You smiled in relief, feeling a few tears slip down your cheeks. Jake raised his hand to cup your cheek, and you leaned into the warm touch of the palm of his hand. You put your hand over his, smiling through your tears.
"I see you..." He whispered, not being able to help the smile that was coming across his face. More tears streamed down your face at his words. "I see you," You smiled, holding your hand against his on your cheek.
-
Soon after you helped Jake go back into another pod that wasn't crippled or broken, he went back to his link and reconnected with his Avatar body. Eventually, you and Jake met with Neytiri and she told you that they had found Tsu'Tey. He didn't have a lot of time left. You gasped at your sisters' words, and she rushed you and Jake to the scene.
When you arrived, there were a couple of other warriors who had found him laying down, and when they spotted Toruk Makto, the warriors yipped for him to come. Jake took your hand and ran with you as fast as you both could until you reached Tsu'Tey and knelt by his side. He was still conscious, but judging by his injuries and his ragged breathing, he didn't have much time left.
Neytiri stood behind you, and stayed silent, given that she had already spoken with Tsu'Tey and made her peace. She wanted you to have a moment to say goodbye. He would be with Eywa and Sylwanin now.
"Oel ngati kameie, Jakesully..." (I see you, Jake Sully) Tsu'Tey said with short breaths and shallow puffs of air. Jake put a hand on Tsu'Tey's shoulder, hoping to give him some comfort before he passes.
"I see you, Brother," Jake said, and Tsu'Tey only had one other concern he wanted to know about in his last moments as Olo'eyktan. "Are The People safe?" He breathed out, and Jake nodded with a comforting smile. He knew his words gave Tsu'Tey peace, knowing he did everything he could to make sure his people survived this arduous battle.
Tsu'Tey's eyes creased with fear, looking up at Jake, knowing he only had a few moments left. He removed his hand from his chest where his bullet hole injuries lay, blood staining the palms of his hands. His breathing seemed strangled, and it hurt you deeply to see someone so dear to you pass on this way. But at least, Tsu'Tey had a great journey and is going to be with Eywa as a brave warrior.
"I cannot lead The People. You must lead them, Jakesully" Tsu'Tey choked out, and his words brought more tears to your eyes. Jake refused, shaking his head at such a request.
"No, I'm not officer material," Jake countered, but Tsu'Tey still looked up at the ex-marine with hopeful eyes. "It is decided. Now...do the duty of Olo'eyktan," Tsu'Tey said, weakly guiding Jake's hand to take out his dagger from the holder strapped on his chest, and the Avatar immediately knew what the warrior was asking him to do, but he was incapable of it.
"I will not kill you," Jake insisted, shaking his head, but deep down he knew that there was no other possible scenario. "It is the way...and it is good," Tsu'Tey said sternly, forcing out his words as much as he possibly could.
"I will be remembered," Tsu'Tey started, his breath becoming more and more shallow. "I fought...with Toruk Makto!" He said with pride and accomplishment, and Jake's eyes softened at his brother's words. "And we were brothers," Tsu'Tey continued, not daring to let anything out of what needed to say.
"And he...was my last shadow," He muttered, and you looked down as more tears streamed down your face. You turned to look at Jake, telling him with your eyes that this was the only way. Jake closed his eyes for a moment before kneeling a bit higher, casting a shadow over Tsu'Tey as he plunged his dagger into the warrior. The man gave one last strained gasp before shuddering and taking his last breath.
Jake's shadow was indeed the last thing Tsu'Tey ever saw. His last shadow.
After Tsu'Tey passed, Jake began to pray as you closed your eyes and mentally did so as well, kneeling closer to your friend. He was brave, courageous, and valiant. You were sure that there wasn't anything that Tsu'Tey would've done differently up to this moment, and you admired him for that. No regrets to the very end.
-
What you and Jake didn't know is that there had been attacks from other Avatar drivers who rebelled against the decisions of the RDA, along with the help of Max that made it all happen. After that, every Sky Person, except those loyal to the Na'vi, was sent back to Earth in a shuttle. You, Jake, Neytiri, Norm, and Max all stood side by side with your weapons in hand, overseeing the departure of the humans that were heading inside the ship in a line.
The aliens went back to their dying world. Only a few were chosen to stay. The time of great sorrow was ending. Toruk Makto was no longer needed.
Jake had decided to let Toruk go back into the wild, and returned to using his old Ikran.
The forest will heal. So will the hearts of the people. New life keeps the energy flowing. Like the breath of the world.
A few weeks later, you were a bit farther along in your pregnancy, so you led Jake to this special pond where new mothers or pregnant women came to spend time with their children. There was laughter everywhere, children swinging from vines and onto the water, and it was just a blissful time. You hoped that the baby you had growing inside of you would play here too, and grow up to have a life without fear or anguish.
You waited at the banks of the river as you watched Jake pick up the fish he caught with his bow and arrow. He removed the arrow from the fish and set both items down before kneeling before you. Jake placed a hand over your belly, and you pressed your hand against him with a soft smile.
He then proceeded to lean forward and plant a soft kiss on the growing bump that was forming. He fully stood up afterward, placed a hand on your cheek, and pulled you in for a soft and loving kiss that you wish he never pulled away from. You felt him smile against your lips as he parted from you, resting his forehead against yours with a content sigh.
Jake was now in the link room one last time, where he spent months connecting to his Avatar form. But after tonight, there won't be a need for that any longer.
Well, I guess this is my last video log. 'Cause whatever happens tonight, either way...I'm not gonna be coming back to this place. Well, I guess I better go. Yeah, I don't wanna be late for my own party. Yeah, it's my birthday after all. This is Jake Sully signing off.
Jake proceeded to wheel himself out of the link room, and his Avatar body, along with him, was taken to the Tree of Souls. This ritual would make his Avatar body his permanent one by transferring his consciousness to it.
The people joined together all around the tree and were singing and chanting as the ground glowed with soft booms that followed every single beat. You were sitting by Jake's body, making sure that both of his bodies were ready for the transfer. Mo'at was bringing ethereal energy to the ritual that just made everything feel at peace for the first time in forever.
There were Atokirina's floating on top of Jake's body, as a sign of approval from Eywa. "Ma sa'nok..." (Mother...) You said, and your mother immediately knew that it was time. She raised her hands in the air and everyone stopped chanting. She hovered her hands over Jake's body, letting the seedlings fly over him.
You removed Jake's mask gently and lowered your head down to kiss his human forehead, then both of his closed eyelids. You never really knew him in this form, but you met him either way and you're grateful for that every day.
You then moved over to Jake's Avatar body, his permanent one as of now. You lifted your hand and cupped his cheek, waiting for his eyes to open. When they did, you smiled and didn't hesitate to bend down to wrap your arms around his neck. He instantly lifted his arms and wrapped them around your waist, holding you close to him.
You were going to spend the rest of your lives together, and there's nobody else you'd rather have by your side, than him.
