Zaira has always been a very independent woman. She has been able to take care of herself always. She doesn't like to let others do anything for her. She knows what to do and how to do things. She'll watch a god damn YouTube video before asking for help. She is a funny and evil girl. She loves to mess with people and tease them as much as she can. She enjoys using her looks to get away with things from time to time. She doesn't have money to get away with things...so her looks it is. Stubborn? Yes. She can be very! ◦ BACKGROUND ◦
Zaira was born to her parents rather early on in their lives, they were just teenagers when they had her. Her mother was unable to even handle the idea of having a child, she had become overwhelmed and just left Zaira with her father one night. Zaira never even met her mother while growing up, so it was just and her dad all her life. Zaira didn't care, she was a happy kid regardless no matter what. Her father worked so many jobs to afford anything that she needed since she was a little girl. When she was about 13 years old, her father received news that his ex had passed away from a drug overdose. It was sad and heartbreaking for him to hear that she had never even got the chance to meet Zaira. They attended the funeral where Zaira met her maternal grandmother that ended up giving her and her father a nicer home for them to live for half the price to make life easier for them. Her father was hesitant to take it but eventually did, this ended up being the home literally right next to the Hidalgo's home. And Zaira spent the next few years living next door to them, dealing with her...neighbors.

‣ Zaira had to transfer schools after the move so she had to make all new friends. Every week though, she leaves town to see her old friends.

‣ Zaira has a very love and hate relationship with Ares, she knows his room is across from hers. She torments him at times by throwing things into his room while he's gone and such. She thinks it's funny and has been doing it since she moved in.

‣ Zaira works at a daycare part time! She doesn't like having her dad worry about paying for her things so she takes care of herself in that way.

‣ Zaira is afraid of ending up like her mother. It's a scary thought that crosses her mind.

‣ Zaira will be going to the university to become a pre-school or kindergarten teacher. She is very anxious about moving forward with her life.

‣ She is often told that she looks a lot like her mother. She doesn't look anything like her father at all.

‣ She has a bracelet that her father gave her when she was a little girl that she hold dearly. Apparently, it was a bracelet that her mother used to wear.
‣ Zaira has a good friendship with Apolo! Though clearly his brothers are unaware of that! The two often text! She ran into him one day and the two bonded. They're like brother and sister!

‣ Zaira actively avoids going to see her maternal grandmother, she doesn't want to know much about her mother. Which is why she typically leaves every weekend, because she knows her grandmother comes over to see them and check in.
