Augustus is nice when he wants to be, but most of the time he'll be decent. He is nice towards his friends, he will respect you when you show him respect. Those are the sort of things that you earn from him. He has dealt with a lot of people in his life and uh he learned the hard way. People say that he tends to be a bit temperamental, and has to walk away from the situation when he knows that he is gonna blow a fuse but it's because it can't be helped. He knows better than to let himself get into some serious trouble. He is very protective of his family and will do anything to make sure they are set.

Gus comes from a regular family, they have worked for everything they got. His mother is a teacher and his father is a plumber. And he worked in restaurants ever since he was allowed to work. He remembered times when he couldn't afford too much, but trust things have looked up since then. Though back then when things were tough, he did have to sell in order to make the extra money and help his parents pay off bills and debt they had. He is very grateful for everything that his parents have done to make sure they had a roof over their heads. Currently, his mother was offered an amazing opportunity and he is recently been transferred to a prestigious private school.

His life prior to being transferred over to this elite school was decent. As mentioned before, he was working and he started to do other things to make extra money. Gus began to deal with this very dangerous man, he never thought it would be some sort of big deal and that things would be fine in the end. He tends to sell for him on the side but later on, he will be forced to sell at an outrageous price that not even the rich kids would pay for! And that says a lot!
