Chapter 3
The two heroes were still out cold.
Izuku had injected them both at the same time and luckily the dosage was correct. Kacchan dropped first, his pants still caught around his ankles. The Alpha took longer to drop. However, the struggle was futile. Izuku's serums were perfectly made and Eijirou crumpled to the asphalt after desperately shielding the Omega's body from the greenette.
Izuku kicked the redhead out of the way and helped re-dress his friend, checking him over for any damage before picking Kacchan up and carrying him down to his hideaway. At first, he hadn't planned on going back for the Alpha. But after a short consideration, he scampered back up to the alleyway and began dragging the hero back.
Izuku knew it would be bad if the Alpha woke up and told anyone that Kacchan had disappeared, it would ruin the blond's career. His reputation would take a huge hit and Izuku was only trying to help his friend get stronger and reach his goals. Eijirou would have to come with them. If anything, he could use the Alpha as a test subject – maybe develop a serum that would strip away his quirk or turn him into an Omega.
Izuku grinned while walking around the room. He was excited for his friend to take up. The greenette had so much to say to his beloved Kacchan. Four years had hit him hard and the young chemist wanted nothing more than to be back above ground with his friends.
"Wakey wakey, Kacchan," Izuku cooed softly and dropped to his knees beside the blond Omega who he had placed gently on his own bed. The Alpha was chained to the other side of the room with special bindings that were quirk-resistant. The blond's hands were covered in materials that would render him powerless with his sweat-activated quirk. He had planned this out to the fine details and was prepared to make Kacchan happy.
Kacchan just needed to wake up and let Izuku explain the situation.
The kelly-green Omega ran soft fingers through the spikey tufts of hair while cooing gently to his best friend. The two had been inseparable over the years. Contrary to popular belief, the explosive hero was relatively sweet to Izuku behind closed doors.
When the media was involved, Kacchan put up a mask of anger and indifference. Izuku always admired the blond's dedication to his work and hero career. He never held it against the blond for his attitude when cameras were involved.
"Ugh," Kacchan blinked his eyes that felt heavy and slow. The area was dark and chilly and he briefly thought he had fallen asleep on the job. Was he on a round of the city and accidentally fallen asleep? The last thing he could remember was meeting up with Eijirou.
The Alpha had been so close to what Katsuki needed and then – The Omega gasped and went to cover his neck where the memory of a sharp sting remained.
And then – Green eyes.
Curly hair.
Freckles.
Izuku.
"Hi, Kacchan," Izuku called out gently, forcing a strangled grunt from the hero's lips as he desperately tried to sit up. The room swayed as he rose, light-headed, and nauseous. His eyes were wide and searching, blinking until he cleared the heavy feeling from his eyelids. It took only a few seconds of scanning the room before his focus landed on the figure kneeling beside him.
Katsuki's mouth went dry as he locked eyes with his long-lost friend. He hadn't seen the Omega in years, let alone caught wind of the fucker even being alive still. Izuku had disappeared years ago after Katsuki's 16th birthday. The ash-blond hero remembered the day vividly. It was one of the worst days of his life. Katsuki had begun presenting as an Omega and had run to the first person he could think of for help and nonjudgmental understanding.
Izuku Midoriya.
"How do you feel, Kacchan?" Izuku smiled softly and sat down beside the other boy. The greenette had spent years observing from afar. Seeing the blond hero up close after so long of being alone brought some kind of warmth to the room.
Katsuki flinched back at the gentle voice that was so familiar -- yet different -- slightly deeper than he remembered. This could not be real. Katsuki took a shuddering breath and stared at the friend that had left his life years ago.
Katsuki had searched for the young Omega for months; two years, to be specific. His friends called him crazy after the first six months passed and no one had found any leads on the Omega's location. They told him it was pointless to keep searching for someone that was not coming back. After that, Katsuki slowly stopped his obsessive searching for the boy. The search was called off and Izuku was labeled dead.
"I thought you were dead," Katsuki whispered while reaching out to touch the freckles that littered the boy's cheek. In the time they had both known each other, they had grown close. Although they only spent a few weeks knowing each other's sub-gender before Izuku went missing, it seemed to be the one thing that the two bonded over the most. Their friendship had begun to hold something more.
Understanding.
However, Katsuki froze with his hand halfway outstretched towards Izuku's cheek, and when his eyes landed on the white fabric that covered both his hands came into view he sucked in a sharp breath. Izuku had a lazy smile on his face that used to be contagious and light up a room. However, his eyes now held something a bit darker. It confused him. Katsuki's eyes flicked around the room. His years of hero training began to kick in as he searched his surroundings for an exit -- landmarks -- potential weapons -- or any form of lingering danger.
Katsuki eyed Izuku wearily and slid out of the small bed. He moved carefully with the greenette in his line of vision the whole time. The missing Omega only smiled and stood up alongside him. There was a slight sway in his movements that made the hero uneasy. Something was not adding up and Katsuki's stomach twisted.
"I've missed you!" Izuku announced as he stepped in front of the blond. He smiled brightly still even as he stood blocking his path in the dark, chilled room. It was difficult to see anything further than a few feet away. Katsuki needed to find out what was going on and how to get out of here. Something was wrong with this whole situation. Katsuki swallowed his pride and let his lips pull in a soft smile. He hoped it didn't look as forced as it felt.
"I missed you too, Izu -- Where have you been?" Katsuki asked carefully while taking a step closer to the other. He needed to find out any information on this location in order to make a report as soon as he could. His eyes narrowed slightly as Izuku hummed and rocked on his feet. The movement was something familiar to the blond -- Izuku was thinking.
"I had to go away for a bit to work on something important," Izuku finally said while tapping his finger thoughtfully on his chin. "I made something for you -- for us both!" He bounced off to a shelf and Katsuki struggled to see in the darkness. Izuku pulled out a green vial before walking over to the blond. Katsuki's eyes locked with the liquid sloshing in the lear container. His body began tensing with discomfort.
Katsuki knew that whatever was in that vile most likely was something illegal to have. As a hero, he had to know the laws regarding drug usages -- even medicinal drugs. There were strictly enforced rules regarding medicines or immunizations in today's society. Especially with quirks and sub-genders as unpredictable variables, medicines mixed with chemicals and hormones in an individual's body could create disastrous effects. Medicines needed to be carefully monitored when administered nowadays.
"Why the fuck are my hands like this, Deku?" Katsuki gruffed and held up his hands. He knew what the fabric that bound him was. Katsuki had used it many times on villains while detaining them. But why would Izuku be using them?
"I couldn't let you blow anything up. Silly Kacchan! I need to explain some things first. I need you on my side. Like we used to be!" Izuku brought closer the vial of green liquid that almost seemed to glow in the dimmly lit room. He showed it to the blond with a easy smile. Katsuki's eyes carefully took in the liquid with narrowed eyes.
"I can't just blindly take your side, Deku," The hero scoffed while forcing himself not to back away from the unpredictable Omega in front of him. "I need to know what the fuck is going on. You were gone for years," He hissed while curling his fingers and clawing at the inside the wrapping on his hands. It would do nothing to help him escape, the fabric was pretty much indestructible, but he would be damned if he did nothing.
"You showed up out of nowhere and kidnapped me. I have a job to do now, Deku. You realize this is fuckin' kidnapping, right?" Katsuki felt his throat close up as the reality of the situation began closing in on him. The shock of the situation began to fade and become replaced by something else -- fear.
"I know you don't understand right now, Kacchan. But I did this all for you. You will understand soon," Izuku frowned before shuffling back to what looked to be a metal desk in the corner of the room. "I will explain it to you, okay? but first, are you hungry, Kacchan?" Izuku's voice was soft and rough at the same time. How long had it been since he last spoke to someone? Katsuki bit his tongue to stop himself from asking ay pointless questions. Now wasn't the time for catching up or lashing out.
Katsuki needed to be careful. He had to remind himself that this was Izuku-fucking-Midoriya. The Omega was too smart for his own good and the blond knew that personally. He had to be careful with how he proceeded. Something was off and he didn't know what to do. Izuku used to be so driven to be a hero. However, the years that he spent looking for Izuku, he began to realize that something had changed within Izuku after the day Katsuki presented as an Omega. It was only three months later that Izuku turned 16 as well and presented as an Omega too. But just days after the greenette's birthday, Izuku disappeared.
"Izuku," He tried again, desperate to find some information, anything that could help him get out of here. His mind briefly slipped to Eijirou. Where was he? Was he alive? Did Izuku hurt him? The other hero had been with Katsuki when Izuku showed up. A quit shot of heat raced up his neck as he remembered what Izuku had stumbled in upon. However, a noise from the side of the room threw him off. His head whipped around, startled by the sudden sounds.
"He's up," Izuku sing-songed before placing a hand on the blond's shoulder. "Now we can all talk together. I did miss you too, Eijirou. It's just too bad you are the way you are," Izuku sighed and walked over to the man on the floor. Katsuki breathed a sigh of relief as he fought back the part of him that was desperate to rush to Eijioru's side.
The redhead groaned and sat up with his back against the wall. He looked around, blinking a few times until he saw his partner. Eijirou breathed out a sigh of relief -- before relief turned to panic.
"Katsuki," He gasped and tried to stand only to be stopped by the bindings on his arms and legs
"Why is he tied up, Deku?" Katsuki growled and finally moved over to the Alpha who was now watching with wide eyes and bared teeth. Katsuki could smell the thick pheromones rolling off Eijirou as the Alpha tugged on the restraints. The hair on the redhead's neck pricked with the cool atmosphere. He could smell the fear radiating off of the blond Omega's body as his nose was assaulted with the scent of a different Omega in the room.
"Kacchan," Izuku whined and walked over to Eijirou, ignoring the blond who was seething. "Calm down," Izuku sighed and knelt down in front of the redheaded Alpha. Eijirou blinked in surprise before registering what Katsuki had said.
"Deku?" Eijirou whispered as confusion laced his features. He searched Katsuki's eyes and calmed when he couldn't see or scent any injuries on his partner. "Wait -- Izuku!?" The Alpha struggled a bit to sit up. He flinched when the chains dug into his wrists.
"Are you okay?" Katsuki breathed in the scent of his Alpha -- not that he would ever claim Eijirou as his own out loud. In his mind, Eijorou was his. Eijirou's eyes softened at the Omega's concern. He wanted desperately to reach out and touch Katsuki, but his hands were tucked tightly behind his back.
"I'm fine, Kat. Are you?" He asked quietly although it wasn't as if Izuku couldn't hear still. Katsuki nodded quickly and flinched when Izuku chuckled darkly behind him.
"What?" Kacchan snapped and whipped his head around to glare at the greenette. The oxygen seemed to get sucked out of him when he saw the twisted grin on the Omega's face.
"I missed you guys so much! I wasn't planning on seeing you so soon Eijirou. I picked Kacchan. I needed Kacchan. But you just so happened to be in the way. No, this is perfect! I know how I can use you to help us. You and Kacchan seem to be -- close," Izuku grinned as the most amazing idea flooded his mind. He needed to write this down.
