sorry about y'all's emotions in this one, sorry but it gets better.....eventually. but first this happens.

cal's pov

a lot has happened since lily has been in the hospital, and none of them are any good things either. it is like she's fighting for her life, as one moment her heart will be fine and then the next moment she would stop breathing. eden is in the waiting room as she doesn't want to see her sister like the way that she is. so it's me and jack still here, aiden, sawyer and zachary are also in the waiting room.

oh and also cecily is here too, of course her father abused her so that's why she didn't get here right away. jack went home to get lily's makeup bag and came back because cecily asked her it to cover up her bruises ftom her father. so that's what she is currently doing as she is also distracting herself, which is fine.

the nurses just left as they had to fix the IV in lily as it kept falling off. so they put a new one in her and that IV is basically keeping lily alive. can't imagine ruby right now, as she knew that something was wrong with lily, because she was going in and out of consciousness. on top of that she was a bleeding mess, the nurses cleaned that up, to make it look like she isn't bleeding ftom the mouth. as that's where it was coming from. it was pretty disgusting if you ask me. it makes me want to strangle vic and ronnie so bad.

i was interrupted from my thoughts about lily when the nurse came i looked up as i nudged jack. he looked up as he fell asleep. which i don't blame him because hospital are boring as shit.

"she's doing okay, she's on her way from surgery. she had a broken arm, three broken ribs, and a broken nose. but other than all those she's pretty good," the nurse whom was hollie, i payed attention to that at least when i was dozing off a little.

"okay thank you," jack says as hollie nods her head and just then the queen herself comes in from surgery.

(yes i wanted to be dramatic as fuck leave me alone, she's a queen in my book, get it, never fucking mind).

once they get her situated and where they want her to be they leave the room. me and jack were the first ones to go to both of lily's sides. i didn't know what to do and or say so i just silently prayed that she will survive. bscause that's all i want to happen. is her to get better and get the fuck out of here. i felt arms around me and i automatically knew it was cecily as she had her chin on my shoulder.

"finally she's out, felt like ages," cecily says as i let out a low chuckle despite everything right now. i heard jack smilt at cecily's joke, i never knew how much i needed to laugh right now, and yeah.

"tell me about it," jack grumbles under his breath as i felt cecily smiling on my shoulder. we all got a good glimpse at lily in front of us, it's enough to make your heart sink at the sight. we all take deep breaths when we see her heart monitor making beeping noises (in a good way).

not even ten minutes later aiden, sawyer and zach came back from spending a couple hours in the cafeteria which is fine because sawyer has anxiety of being in a hospital which is understandable.

"how is she," sawyer asks as aiden has his arm around is daughter's shoulder to calm down her anxiety that's rising, but she's trying to remain calm.

"she's doing good, as long as nothing happens," jack says as sawyer nods her head at her uncle, aiden kissed his daughter's head and i smiled a little at seeing that.

"okay," sawyer says as jack hugs the girl and she lets out a quiet sob escaping from her lips. jack starts to rub sawyer's back soothingly to calm her down just like he has always done with lily and eden.

two hours later

(still cal's pov)

we've been here for a while and the nurses said that if lily continues to be good and nothing happens, she will be released and discharged in two days max. can't wait for that to happen, i want to get her back into my arms and tell her that everything is going to be alright.

jack said that me eden, and the rest of us teenagers have to go back to school. we didn't like when he said that but he did say that it can be a distraction from lily anf to get our minds off of the situation of our friend/sister and cousin. which isn't a big deal like us teenagers are making it seem.

at school

we teenagers got to school and cecily said that she'd fill in for lily of you want to say it like that. for about ao good two hours there was no sign of vic or ronnie anywhere which was a good thing. as cecily was a genius and put a tracker into both of their backpacks so at least by that we'd halfass get away from them. which seemed to work for now. but hoped that wouldn't change. until i heard this.

"guess what i did over the weekend," ronnie says as his friends looked at him. i glared at them from my locker but i refrained myself from saying anything. "i got that blonde who was home alone," ronnie says with this biggest smirk on his face.

"whoa that's cool," one of the other friends say, as ronnie laughed like he thought it was hilarious as i clenched my fists as i sighed and took a deep breath as i didn't want to cause a scene.

"yeah it was awesome, and lit, then she wanted to be a jackass and not listen and put up a stupid fight, so i grabbed one of her father's fancy ass rum bottles and i hit her in the head with it," ronnie says going off again and i heard a tiny gasp and looked and saw cecily. apparently she was listening to the conversation which i don't blame her as it didn't take long to realize that they were talking about lily.

"whoa that's cool, and she was an ass especially hanging out with that fucker," vic says with an evil smirk on his face as i walked away from them as i felt myself getting angry that i wasn't there to stop anything.

"when she regained consciousness i raped her and then stabbed her, she was being a fucking dick about it," ronnie says as i stopped in my tracks as it made sense why she had all that blood. he raped her and also stabbed her.

i then left school with cecily on my tail as we walked to lily's house where jack is. he was shocked to see the two of us, so instead of being mad at ua, i told him everything that vic and ronnie said. i almost peed my pants when i saw the pissed look on jack's face as i have never seen him mad. or this mad at all.

he called his police officer friend that lily was talking about a while ago, and he came over to the house as jack and i descriptively told him literally everything in grave detail. i then told him that the two fuckers are at the school and then he left.

"can't believe they did that? i was also wondering why one of the bottles were missing," jack says as ruby came out from somewhere and nudged jack's knee and he pets the dog. i can't believe how awful ruby feels basically almost watching lily get murdered by those bastards. she doesn't know if lily is alright.

"it's okay, ru, mama is alright, she'll maybe come back home in a couple of days, if she is feeling better," i say to her and as if she can understand me she looks at me with little pully tears rolling down her furry face. that made me more upset about, as it broke me inside of seeing ruby's reaction. she barked a little as a response as i nodded my head as i pet behind her ear.

"what are we going to do? if those idiots find out that he is wanting them. what will they do next," cecily asks me and jack as we didn't know any answers tonher question.

after a beat of silence jack speaks up about the current situation about his friend going to the school. "hopefully they get arrested and charged with attempted murder as there is evidence against them of proving them guilty," jack says as he has anger in his eyes as it still scares me of seeing that look. for as long as i have known this man not once have i seen him rhis angry.

me and cecily nod our heads as we all pray for lily's recovery and that she pulls through, then we all jumped when we heard a phone ringing.
