Present day:
*(Y/N)'s POV*
/a still young/ (Y/N) woke up to a strange buzzing next to her. Her phone. She rubbed her eyes and gazed at the caller ID. It was a strange number, and deciding that it was probably a scammer, she'd let it ring.
Yet, something inside of her was telling her to pick it up, so she went with it and answered the call.
She muttered a soft and tired "hello?"
"Ah miss (Y/N), glad to see you've picked up." The person on the other line spoke.
There is only one person that would call you 'Miss (Y/N)' and that was pogo.
"Hi pogo. What's so important that you had to call me at 1:00 in the morning?" She mumbled and slowly tore the blanket off of her. she stood up, slowly sliding her slippers on and walked into the kitchen. she heard him sigh and Pogo began to speak again.
"Miss (Y/N). I'm afraid to say that master Hargreaves has passed on. We would like it if you would join us for the funeral. I have already purchased a ticket for you to fly down here." She sighed. Going back to her family that she hasn't seen in years? she stared at her reflection that was mirrored from the fridge. she was still 18, and strangely has always been. maybe going back she's be able to figure out why, and seeing family wouldn't be so bad either.
"Sure Pogo, I'll be there."
*TIME SKIP*
(Y/N) walked into the gates of her childhood home and gave a small smile. Memories flooded back to her as she stepped into the house. The small smile on her face soon vanished once she heard everyone arguing. (Y/N) walked straight into the room and smirked, looking around at everyone.
"Woah, am I late to the party?" She laughed.
Klaus stood up. "(Y/N) is that you!? Thank god you showed up! This was getting so boring with out you." He threw his arm around her shoulder but then soon let go and turned to face her.
"You.. you didn't age?" He asked, his face displaying shock.
She nodded. "I have no idea why I didn't, but it sucks that you're now older than me. Physically, I mean."
"How does that-" he started again.
"I really don't know Klaus." She cut him off, looking right at him. "I'm assuming dad has something about it somewhere, I'll find it." She winked at him as he nodded and wrapped his arm around her shoulder again.
Allison soon stood up and smiled at (Y/N). "I'm glad you're back (Y/N). It was pretty hard sitting here and being the one of the only girls- Klaus is that my skirt?"
(Y/N) laughed.
"What?" He turned around and stuck his cigarette in his mouth. "Oh yeah this! I found it in your room. It's a little dated, I know, but it's very airy on the bits." He said.
"Oh darling you do look ravishing!" (Y/N) said, putting on a fake posh accent.
"See! Favorite sibling! Right here." Klaus pointed to her and pulled her in to give her a noogie, messing up her perfect (H/C) locks.
"Klaus! Comon! My hair!"
"Okay whatever, let's get this started. I think we should have the funeral where dad's favorite spot was." Luther blurted and solemnly looked at the family.
"Dad had a favorite spot?" Allison questioned.
"Yeah, under the Oak tree. You guys never went there?" Luther said.
(Y/N) shook her head and sat on the couch.
"Ah, will there be food or drinks? Comon it's not a proper funeral without that!"
Luther rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Listen there are still things we need to discus, like how he died."
"And here we go." Diego said, rolling his eyes.
"I don't understand, I thought they said it was a heart attack?" Vanya suddenly spoke up.
"Yeah according to the coroner. I'm just saying at the very least something happened." Luther explained.
"Oh yeah? Why don't you tell us what your theory is." (Y/N) said to Luther, already dreading what he was going to say.
"The last time I talked to dad, something sounded strange."
"Strange how?" Allison questioned.
"He sounded on edge, he told me to be careful who to trust." Luther went on.
"Luther, he was a paranoid, bitter old man who was starting to lose his marbles." Diego said.
"He must've known something would've happened." (Y/N) looked at Klaus, knowing what was about to happen and rolled her eyes, rotating her finger in a circle by her head and pointed to Luther, as if to say 'he's crazy'.
Klaus nodded and stifled a laugh.
"Look I need you to talk to dad." (Y/N) and Klaus scoffed.
"I can't just call dad in the afterlife and be like, dad, could you just stop playing tennis with hitler for a moment and take a quick call?" Klaus said. "I'm just not in the right frame of mind!"
"You're High?" (Y/N) asked.
"Yeah..." Klaus replied.
"Well then there's an issue about the missing monocle." Luther rambled on.
"Who gives a shit about a stupid monocle?" Diego exclaimed, already done with the situation.
"Exactly. It's worthless." Luther finished.
"I'm not following." (Y/N) said.
"Most of us aren't" Allison replied.
"I think someone personal took it, someone who held a grudge." Luther explained.
"Where are you going with this?" Klaus said.
"Isn't it obvious? Luther thinks one of us killed dad." (Y/N) said.
"Great job Luther. Way to lead." Diego said.
"That's not what I meant." Luther tried saving himself.
"You're crazy man. And I thought Klaus was crazy-"(Y/N) started to say.
"Hey!" Klaus interrupted.
"Hey I'm not finished!" Luther yelled.
"Hold oh wait, (Y/N) and I are just gonna go murder mom. Be right back." Klaus spat and started walking out with (Y/N) following him.
You two then split up and went towards your rooms. (Y/N)'s room was right across from five's room. She peeked in hoping to see him, but all she saw was nothing. She walked into his room quietly and looked around. She sat on his bed and laid there.
"(Y/N)!" Five spoke.
"What five? Can't you see I'm trying to sleep?" She replied, tiredness evident in her voice.
"Wanna sneak out to Griddys with me? We can get donuts!" Five exclaimed.
She shot out of bed.
"you're joking right? What if we get caught?" Her nervousness clouded her thoughts.
"We won't, I promise. Now let's go!" He said and grabbed her hand, jumping to Griddys.
Once you both made it to Griddys, you both ordered some coffee and each got your favorite donuts. You both sat in a booth. (Y/N) admired the outside world while five smiled, and stared at her. She turned to look at him, to see he was looking down. "Hey, what's wrong?" She asked him.
"Oh it's none of your concern (N/N). Let's go before dad finds out we're gone." He said.
She smiled as she remembered the memories. Soon she got up and left his room and went to hers. There was a mirror in the corner, shattered.
(Y/N) laughed when she remembered what has happened. She was practicing her telekinesis and she accidentally hit the mirror with the hairbrush she was lifting in the air. Soon music flowed through the house, she started to slowly stand.
"Children behave. That's what they say when we're together. And watch how you play, they don't understand and so were, runnin' just as fast as we can."
She got up and grabbed the sunglasses she had set on her dresser. She put them on and looked at her shattered mirror. She nodded in satisfacton as she saw what she looked like. She moved her rug and grabbed her hairbrush and acted like it was a microphone.
"Holdin' on to one another's hand. tryin' to get away into the night."
(Y/N) remembered how she and Five would always sneak out and grab donuts every Friday night.
"Then you put your arms around me and we tumble to the ground and then you say, I think we're alone now. There doesn't seem to be anyone around. I think we're alone now, the beating of our hearts is the only sound."
She slid on her hardwood floor. She smiled and pretended to sing into her hairbrush microphone. If Five was here, he would've joined her. He might've thought that they were idiots, but at least they were having fun.
"Look at the ways we gotta hide what we're doin'.
Cause what would they say?
If they ever knew
and so we're runnin' just as fast as we can.
Holdin' onto one another's hand, tryin' to get away into the night and then you put your arms around mean different we tumble to the ground and then you say, I think we're alone now. There doesn't seem to be anyone around, I think we're alone now The beating of our hearts is the only sound."
(Y/N) jumped around on her bed and shook her hair around. The song continued, and she even if she was out of breath, she kept dancing.
"I think we're alone now, there doesn't seem to be anyone around. I think we're alone now the beating of our hearts is the only sound."
The music was suddenly cut off and thunder rumbled and shook the house. The last time (Y/N) checked it wasn't raining. She took off the sunglasses, fixed her hair and ran outside.
"What the hell did you guys do this time?" She exclaimed as she ran outside.
"What is it?" Vanya yelled.
"Don't get so close!" Allison warned.
"Yeah, no shit." Diego sassed and looked away.
Luther made a smart comment. "Looks like some temporal anomaly, or a mini black hole. One of the two."
"Out of the way!" Klaus yelled and started spraying a fire extinguisher in the hole, then threw the fire extinguisher into the hole.
"Klaus you're an idiot!" (Y/N) screamed to him.
"Thank you!" He replied. She shook her head.
"Everyone get behind me!" Luther yelled.
"Yeah behind us!" Diego yelled over his brother.
"I vote for running. Comon!" Klaus said and grabbed (Y/N)'s arm.
(Y/N) looked around to see Luther and Allison holding hands. She gently smiled, but it soon wiped away as Klaus let go and looked back at the hole in the sky. Soon the thunder faded and a man fell out of the hole. It was someone (Y/N) had planned on not seeing again. It was.. five.
"FIVE?"
