You gripped Chuuya's hand in yours as he guided you into the hot tub. You dipped one foot in and immediately took it out.

"Oh fuck no!- Chuuya, how are you surviving in there?!"

Chuuya

"Oh... Do you find the water too hot?"

You

"You don't?!"

Chuuya

"No, it's actually pretty soothing. Now try it again, but this time, go in slower so that your body gets used to it."

You

"Aw hell nah bitch, this is fucking terrifying! I might as well just come out of that thingy with red skin if it's that hot!"

Chuuya

"Wow, that's a bit over the top, Y/N. Trust me, you'll feel calmer if your whole body is submerged."

You put your trust in Chuuya's words and cautiously immersed yourself in the water. You were almost going to fall asleep as you sat inside before you noticed it. Even though it was late, the pools and hot tubs were still open. Only the two of you sat in the hot tub.

Chuuya

"See, what did I say?"

You

"..."

Chuuya

"... Don't tell me you've slept in a literal hot tub..."

Chuuya splashed water on your face.

You

"Ack!... Why'd you... Do that?!"

Chuuya

"I didn't know you'd be so relaxed that you'd start sleeping! We're in a hot tub, Y/N, don't sleep!"

You

"Can't move... So hungry..."

Chuuya

"We have been in here for quite a while... Let's get out now. Staying in here for too long will mess with our heads."

Chuuya had to assist you in getting out of the water since you couldn't even keep yourself together. Your stomach had never been this empty before, you desperately craved food.

You

"Finally!..."

You threw yourself inside the room and onto the table after unlocking your door with a key card. You practically ate everything and left nothing for Chuuya.

You

"Ah... So much better."

You were utterly fatigued and lay your head on the table.

Chuuya

"... Y'know what, I wasn't even that hungry in the first place."

Chuuya was profoundly upset because he couldn't find anything to eat.

You

"I'm gonna... *Yawn* Wash up now..."

Chuuya

"Yeah, I'll do the same after you're finished."

Chuuya observed you stumbling around while attempting to walk straight to the restroom. You slipped over the air and began walking in zigzags, banging into walls at every turn.

Chuuya was wondering why you were taking so long in the restroom after you had spent so much time there. You fell asleep immediately after finishing up and collapsed onto the bed...

The wrong bed.

Chuuya's bed was on the right side, while yours was on the left. His scent is all over those blankets, but it honestly merely made you fall asleep faster.

Chuuya entered the room, still drying his hair with a towel, to find you resting on your stomach, hugging the pillows. You weren't even sleeping properly, your leg was dangling off the edge, and your head was at the foot of the bed.

Chuuya

"Y/N... What the hell..."

He wanted his bed back, but he didn't know how he was going to get you to move. His concept of carrying you made him so flustered that he couldn't do it. And, as much as it would have shocked you, he would have felt awful for taking you out of bed when you were asleep.

You

Hm... Smells like Chuuya...

You awoke only a few minutes before your alarm went off. You dismissed it right before it rang since you didn't want to wake Chuuya. When you looked to your left, you discovered you were on the bed closest to the bathroom.

You

Am I in...

Chuuya was asleep in your bed when you looked the other way, to your right.

You

Oh no... Did I take the wrong bed last night?! Does this explain why Chuuya's scent is so heavy?! And Chuuya's sleeping in my scent?! My bed?!

You devised a smart plan whilst Chuuya was still sleeping. You'd carefully carry Chuuya back to his bed and start getting ready for the day. You intended to act as if nothing had happened, you slept in your own beds that night. Totally.

Chuuya awoke when the sun was already up, whereas you awoke when it wasn't. He found himself sleeping on his back, which was an entirely different position for him. He sat up and looked around.

Chuuya

"Huh?... But I was sure I..."

He shifted his gaze to his right, to your bed.

You

"Chuuya! Good morning! I ordered breakfast already, everything's set up on the table!"

Jeez, how bad could you possibly be at acting normal?

Chuuya

"Y/N, did you move me to my bed when you woke up?"

You

He figured it out already?! "Huh? I... Don't know what you're talking about!"

Chuuya

"Are you sure?"

You

"Yes! I slept in my bed that night, and you slept in yours. That's how it should be."

Chuuya

"Yeah... Right. Then would you care to explain why my sheets smell completely different?"

You

"You can smell me?!"

Chuuya

"Hah! So you admit it!"

You

"No! I just worded it- I-" *Sigh* How can my scent be that strong?! "Hmph. You've just got a dog's nose."

Chuuya

"I'll take that as a compliment. You know, your bed is actually pretty comfy to sleep in. How about we switch?"

You

"What? Chuuya, our beds are exactly the same."

Chuuya

"True, true. Or, it could just be that your scent makes me fall asleep really fast..."

You

"Oh? Does it really?"

Chuuya

"Yes, indeed."

You

"Then maybe I'll think about it."

You played along with what he was doing.

You both ate breakfast and dressed. Mori had given you a letter in which he explained your intentions for Monday.

Mori: As you are both aware, R/N has been admitted to the hospital and will have to stay for one more night as a result of the catastrophe that unfolded yesterday. Don't worry, you won't have to stand guard over his hospital bed; I wouldn't make this job so monotonous for you. Instead, read some of these reports about the assassin who has been haunting R/N. It will provide you with information that you will hopefully find useful. Your mission for the remainder of the week is to capture this assassin. I also want to congratulate you on successfully arresting the bomber, and on the first day too! Excellent work.

You two paid significant attention to the articles that were forwarded to you. According to the information you were given, this assassin was last sighted by the monorail on Saturday and attempted to eliminate R/N who was preparing to board it, but Saturday had already passed.

You and Chuuya were still in Yokohama on Saturday, having not yet gone to Vegas.

The appearance of this assassin wasn't much, but you were told they had a masculine body and wore dark clothing.

You'd finally begun to investigate the area after enduring the agony of driving through traffic. And you discovered...

Nothing.

The assassin was nowhere to be found. You also looked around the hospital where R/N was staying, and it appeared that this assassin wasn't targeting him at the moment. It was to be anticipated, given that you were his new bodyguards.

"Come on... Let's check over there. We haven't gone to that area yet, have we?"

Chuuya

"Um... Y/N,"

You

"What?"

Chuuya

"You're aware that we don't have to find the assassin today, right? We've still got all of this week."

You

"Sure, but it's best to get it over and done with ASAP."

Chuuya

"Meh, you've got a point but... I'm fucking tired, man! You've been dragging me around Las Vegas since the morning, it's almost evening!"

You

"Then why didn't you say anything?!"

Chuuya

"Well, you seemed so interested in this job so I just followed along with it!"

You

"... Really?"

Chuuya awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck.

You

"Well... Since I've been dragging you around for nearly twelve hours now, I suppose we can... Continue this job tomorrow."
