~♡Fifty-Three♡~
When realisation sunk Taehyung in, he knew he was very late for it but he couldn't give up so soon.
Regret rushed into his bones when he thought of Jungkook while sobbing. He really treated him very wrong. And all those mistreatments started killing him inside in pure lament.
Jimin panicked, sitting beside Taehyung and bringing his face on his shoulder. Taehyung raised his head, face messed up with tears.
As soon as Mr. Jeon left, Taehyung couldn't help but cry and only cry to realise what he did.
"K-kookie… I want to meet Kookie. I need to meet him, Jimin… I… I… I was so wrong." Taehyung cried, fisting Jimin's clothes as he pleaded with teary eyes.
"T-tae… it's night."
"I need to see him.. I don't know anything." Taehyung cried, standing up and sobbing.
"Tae… it's very dark and cold." Jimin tried to hold Taehyung's hand but he stepped back.
"I did him so wrong. I didn't even hear him once… oh lord. He… he… came here…. he came here for me b-but… I did him so wrong… I did my Kookie so wrong." Taehyung cried, holding his head with his hands as his thoughts started panicking him.
"N-no… I can't let this happen when he needs me… no I can't." Taehyung panicked while crying, heading to the door without his coat and shoes.
"Taehyung… stop!" Jimin stopped him midway.
"I'll take you there."

If finding out about Jungkook's truth was a shock to Taehyung then he still had to have the greatest shock and that was that Jungkook had left his house.
Taehyung stepped back in disbelief when he learnt through the head of the building that Jungkook had left three days ago, the same night he visited Taehyung, making him realise how much he messed up.
"Did he tell you where he was going?" Jimin asked the lady who only shook her head in denial.
"We never ask our residents about this. Anyway this building is about to be sold out to a new business man soon. I don't have to take note of other residents anymore." She informed Jimin who frowned and Taehyung was shook to the core.
Taehyung rushed out of there and Jimin followed after him.
"Tae… hey…" Jimin called as he followed Taehyung to the parking lot who started crying while holding his face in his hands.
"I w-want to see him… I want to see K-kookie. I won't go back without him… no I won't. I WANT KOOKIE! I WANT TO MEET MY JUNGKOOKIE!" Taehyung cried hard and Jimin tried to hold him but Taehyung didn't let him.
"Tae… we will but for now it's too late. Try to understand."
"NO I WON'T GO BACK WITHOUT HIM!" Taehyung cried like a child, making Jimin sigh and instantly pull out his phone to dial Jungkook's phone number.
Jimin pressed his lips together, waiting for someone to pick up but his number was going out of service.
"It's out of service." Jimin whispered to Taehyung who was waiting for him to say something.
Taehyung took the phone in his hands, dialing it again and hearing the same thing one after another.
"Tae… we'll work this out. Let's go. It's very cold and dark."
"No! No… I SAID I WON'T GO BACK WITHOUT HIM!" Taehyung shook his arms when Jimin tried to hold his hand.
"I want to see Kookie… I want to go where he is."
Jimin stood, feeling helpless and didn't know what to do.
"I don't know where he is… we'll search him but please let's go home Tae. We'll find him." Jimin tried to say but Taehyung only stared down at the ground.
"I can't go h-home… not when I don't know where he is...how he is… I.. I just can't." Taehyung cried and Jimin felt extremely helpless at the moment.
"But we can't do anything, can we?" Jimin asked.
Taehyung looked down, running his hands through his hair and trying to calm himself down but he squeezed his eyes tightly and burst out into tears again.
"H-he… he didn't cheat me… I didn't trust him… why… I did so wrong."
"Tae… hey…"
"I want him… I just want Kookie…" he cried and Jimin sighed, giving up.
He had no other choice than to call Namjoon at the moment because nothing seemed to help them out.
~♡~
What Namjoon said broke Taehyung more. He knew where Jungkook was and how he was but he didn't tell them because Jungkook didn't want to.
Taehyung pleaded, wanting Namjoon to answer but he couldn't break the promise he made with Jungkook. He told Taehyung to take some time and let Jungkook's anger be cooler but Taehyung was drowning more and more in deep lament every passing second.
"B-but… what if… what if he won't ever forgive me?" Taehyung cried on the other side of the phone, Namjoon sighing exhaustively.
"Tae, he needs some time and you too. This is all very messed up. I know. And you both need to collect your thoughts. Be calmed and don't worry it will be alright."
"How am I supposed to stay calmed? I d-don't even know where he is… what if I never see him again? What if he doesn't want me anymore.. how am I supposed to stay calm… how?" Taehyung cried on the other side of the phone, both of him and Jimin sitting inside Taehyung's house now.
"Tae… he is alright. I'm with him. Don't worry, he just needs some time." Namjoon tried to assure him but only heard sobs in reply.
"I w-wanna hear him...once... please." Taehyung pleaded and Namjoon sighed.
"Tae… he won't speak you know."
"I want to hear him… once… please. I beg you please." Taehyung cried and Namjoon sighed, turning his face to see Jungkook who was oblivious of everything and was smoking a cigarette on the rooftop, Namjoon could see him through the window of his exquisite room.
Namjoon looked at his phone and then at Jungkook. He walked out of the room through the casement, making his way to Jungkook who was staring at the starry sky, cigarette between his index finger and middle finger which he sucked and blew smoke after, repeating it again and again.
"Jungkook… someone wants to speak…" Namjoon simply said and Jungkook passed him a confused glare.
"Who?" He asked with his exhausted sore voice.
Namjoon passed him his phone and mention of Jimin's name on screen gave Jungkook clue of who was on the other side of the phone.
Jungkook passed Namjoon a frown, staring at the screen and then at his face back and forth.
"Why? As far as I know nobody wants to hear me. Why now?" Jungkook simply said ironically, not even touching the phone and turning back to walk into his room after fusing the cigarette.
"Hope you heard his answer Tae."
Taehyung closed his eyes roughly, bringing the phone down from his hands and dropping it down. He was dying to hear his voice but not this way.
He was sitting on the couch of his house, hanging his head low to cry.
"Tae…" Jimin stretched his hand to caress his back.
"It's all because of me… I'm sorry… I'm so sorry." Jimin whispered, burying his face into Taehyung's shoulder from back.
Taehyung didn't say anything but cried. He put his hands on Jimin's arms that were wrapping around his waist.
He can never hate Jimin, never blame him for everything because it's his way of loving him, he is sometimes too protective like an elder brother but all he wishes for is to see Taehyung happy and if he has tears in his because of him, Jimin couldn't help but join him in tears too.
Taehyung held onto his hands tightly. He couldn't be mad at him, no he can never.
All Taehyung missed right now was Jungkook. And feeling himself sitting on the same couch where he and Jungkook would cuddle together, make out and talk, broke him more, all memories colliding in his head and breaking his heart, making him regret and realise how wrong he was.
"It will be alright… everything will be alright. You're never alone." Jimin whispered and Taehyung wasn't sure why those words didn't comfort him that night, maybe the pain and regret was just so intense.
But what was more intense was Jungkook's love hidden behind his anger.
