Sophie's pov:

I looked in the direction of the voice which was way too familiar. Everyone turned their heads to his direction.

"What do you mean Seonghwa?" Hongjoong asked the older. "Didn't you hear me just now? I said I don't think this is a good idea." Seonghwa spoke again, his expressions turning much more serious than earlier.

"Why? Do you want her to not be able to protect herself??" Hongjoong arched his brow, a visible frown on his face. Seonghwa sighed and looked at me. "What are we here then for?" he spoke, not breaking our eye contact.

"No. She needs training." I was surprised to see Yunho answering back so quickly. "I said she doesn't. We are here for her." Seonghwa answered back, slowly raising his voice. I sensed an upcoming argument in the thick, damp air and quickly held Yunho's hand. He looked at me surprised.

"I-I need training, I agree. I can't be the only one who is weak here." I stammered but finally managed to speak. Seonghwa frowned, "I don't think so you need to get yourself in more trouble than you are in now." He replied back, the usual cold expressions on his pretty face.

"Yo what the fuck is going on??" Yeosang looked like he had already lost it. He got up from his chair abruptly, slamming his fists hard on the table. Jongho, who was sitting beside him was quick to grab his arms and pull him down, back on his seat.

"Calm down hyung. What do you think about this?" He asked him. "Of course yes. We won't be there always beside her to save her weak ass." He answered cockily, which made my blood boil real quickly.

"Fuck Yeah. I want to do this so that I won't need any dumb fucker's help to survive!!" I practically screamed at his face and looked at Hongjoong who had a worried look on his face. "HEY! What did you-" Yeosang started but was immediately cut off by Wooyoung. "You started it Sangie, she just replied back. Forget it. That is not important right now." I looked at Yeosang who stared back looking like he was about to rip me into pieces. Hongjoong turned towards San. "What do you think Sannie?"

"I am fine with anything haha" San laughed, trying to lighten the atmosphere. Wooyoung rolled his eyes at his answer. "It's either Yes or No San." He added. "I said I am okay with anything. I kinda agree with both the sides." He concluded, raising both his arms in the air, gesturing that he was done deciding.

"He is always neutral ugh." Mingi face palmed himself dramatically and looked at Wooyoung, waiting for him to speak. "Hm...I am with Seonghwa hyung. She already has gotten herself into trouble, we can't let this kid play with weapons." He laughed at the last part.

"Heyyyy....I am not a kid!!" I pouted at him at which he imitated me and laughed again.

"What about you Jongho?" Hongjoong asked the younger. "Same. Anyways, we will be with her all the time so she is safe anyway. What if she gets stronger and one day kills one of us??" he cupped his face, resting his elbows on the table and smiled at me as if he was teasing me.

"What the hell Jongho, why would I do something like that!?" I was surprised to know that he even thought about something like that. "We never know who might betray us." He playfully narrowed his eyes at me at which I responded with an eye roll.

"Okay so it's five and three, including Sophie herself so I guess it's decided that she will be getting training." Hongjoong finally declared after a moment.

"Okay cool. Enjoy yourselves." Seonghwa got up silently and left the room before anyone could say anything. Hongjoong looked exhausted. Everyone fell silent for a while.

"Okay whatever, let's decide now who is going to teach her what." Hongjoong spoke again, breaking the thick silence.

"I have already thought about this. She needs to learn some basic fighting skills which will be taught by San and Jongho. You guys decide what time and what days." Mingi spoke quickly and looked at the duo who were already discussing.

"Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays will be ours. We will call her in the evenings, no fixed time but just evenings." San said after getting a agreeing nod from Jongho.

"Okay good. Now, the weapons. Yunho is perfect for teaching her how to use guns and Yeosang will handle the knives part. Is it okay for everyone?" My eyes widened at the mention of gun. Never have I ever thought that I would even see a gun in real life. "A g-gun??" I asked again, too shocked to think I heard it correctly. "Of course yes. What did you think? Only fighting with hands will help you stay alive on missions?" Yeosang spoke again, as rude as ever. I ignored his mocking and was slightly surprised at the word 'mission'.

"Mission??" I repeated once again. A small chuckle left Yunho's lips and I turned towards him. "What's so funny!? This is too much to handle!" My eyes grew wider as my heart was already pounding from all the stuff I was thinking about.

"Don't worry. Not so soon Soph. And we won't take you on missions if it's too risky and it also depends on the need. If you're needed, we'll take you with us." Yunho smiled.

Need? Oh. So I am like a substitute now?

I stayed silent and nodded, not wanting to talk anymore. "If you're needed, we'll take you with us." kept repeating in my head as I already felt like I was now either a 'burden' or just some 'backup' for them.

"Okay I don't mind." Yeosang spoke suddenly, giving a thumbs up along with it.

"Okay it's decided then! You are okay with this right?" It took me a few seconds and Yunho's nudge to realize that Hongjoong was talking to me. I nodded silently.

"Cool then. You guys can start whenever you want." Hongjoong concluded the meeting. I stood up in an instant and started pacing out from the room. I didn't want to stay there even one more second for some reason.

Just as I was about to exit the corridor, I felt someone pulling me back, stopping me from going any further. I turned around to see a breathless Wooyoung, patting dry his sweaty forehead with the help of his half folded sleeves.

"What is it?" I asked, not realizing that I sounded annoyed. He creased his brows slightly and tilted his head in confusion, "What happened to you?" he asked.

"Nothin-" "Don't even try to pretend that you are okay." He spoke before I could finish. I shook my head violently and smiled at him.

"Not pretending. I really am fine." I answered. He squinted his eyes at me. "You are not. Now come on, tell me!" he spoke again, folding his hands as if he was demanding me to speak.

"Alright, let's goooo." He grabbed my wrist andstarted pacing up the staircase after realizing that I won't speak. "Where-""Let's watch a concert and take your mind off things...now come on!! I wanted to watch my BTS concert dvd for so long!!" he said excitedly.
