Morpheus was surprised at how effective the Mikaelson's power of compulsion actually was. The second they arrived in London the hybrid had gone off to the nearest shop in search of cleaner, more appropriate clothes. He'd simply tagged along. She'd compelled everyone to leave and for whatever she picked to be free. It was why he stood, hands in pockets waiting for the blonde as she changed. He watched as she materialised from the changing room, a pair of boots in hand.

"That was quick." He noted, observing as she sat on one of the stolls, slipping her right foot in the right boot, she raised an eyebrow "I thought getting your tools back, was inportant." She bounced her brows, doing up the laces before moving on to the other foot.

"It is." He deadpaned "I..."

"Just be thankful that Rebekah isn't with us, we'd be here all night." She stood up, picking up a leather coat "Come on, love."

He raised his brows, before following. Easily catching up with her stride "She can't be that bad. Can she?" They exited the shop, walking in matching strides, she slipped on her coat "Back in 1899, she dragged me, Kol and Klaus out once to some fancy dress shop."

"And?" He questioned, throwing a curious look at her, watching as she slipped on the coat.

"At the end of the day, 400 bodies drained of blood." She said, running her fingers though her hair, narrowly missing his bewildered expression "Between me, Klaus and Kol. All three of drunk out of our minds. Elijah found us all, huddled together, rocking back and forth. And Klaus suffered emotionally because she'd spent all of his money in one go."

"What of you and Kol?" He quried, keeping his eyes on hers "What repercussions do you two suffer."

"Blacked out, it's mostly a blur to me. But Kol, he couldn't stop twitching. Elijah was the one who got to laugh. The minute Rebekah mentioned shopping, you couldn't see our arses for dust."

He laughed "I can imagine that."

"It's funny for you." The original sassed "Just wait until you get dragged to retail therapy. Then you'll understand the horrors."

"I don't think that will happen anytime soon." He smirked, turning his head to look at her as he remarked "I never thought an original, nevermind three almighty originals be scared off anything."

She rolled her eyes "We're all scared of something. Even the all powerful Endless." He chuckled.

_________

"Constantine." Morpheus greeted stoic, the brunette woman frowned at the raven haired man and blonde woman "Have we met?"

"We have business, you and I."

"Get in line, bruv." Johanna said, breifly throwing a glance at the church "Can't keep God waiting." With that said, she walked past the pair. Who watched her go, before sharing a look.

"Compulsion goes a long way." She tutted, arching her brows.

"Don't tempt me." He warned lightly.

"Right." She chuckled "Well, it's up to you. Your tools." Her eyes sparkled with mischief "But this should help."

His face fell into a expression full of confusion. He went to question what he meant but couldn't due to her grabbing his arm, and sped them into the church. She smirked, walking forward, stalking the wedding scene. He followed close behind her.

_________

"You...talk too much." The demon said, turning around to face the Constantine woman.

"Tell me your name and I'll stop." She remarked.

"Why would I do that?" He remarked, stepping forward slightly "When there are far more enjoyable ways to make you stop."

"His name is Agilleth." Morpheus made the duo's presence known.

"I'm flattered you remember me," Agilleth commented "Lord Morpheus, after all your time away."

"Lord Morpheus?" Johanna muttered astonested, she glanced at the hybrid, wondering who she was.

"He is. Though, I confess, I almost didn't recognize you without your helm." The demon taunted, eyes drifting to the original "Or with a vampire with you. I wonder where your helm could be."

"I presume it is in Hell, with the demon to whom it was traded. I'd show some respect to her," he defended "if I were you."

"And why would I do that?"

"Because I'm an Original, mate." Darcy flashed her hybrid face "I believe you may of heard of us?" She arched an eyebrow "Now, tell us, which demon has the helm."

"Or what?" The demon challenged.

Darcy smirked, walking forward "I'll rip you limb from limb. And only when you are a riding ball of blood and flesh," Johanna looked at the original as if she were mad and horrifed at how calm she was "will I rip your heart from your chest. Then I'll collect all of your parts, and throw them into the Atlantic. So, I will ask again; whom has the helm?"

"Give me the princess and I'll tell you." Johanna began to chant in Latin, holding up a miniature cross at the demon.

"Wait." Morpheus called.

"Fine. Fine! I'll tell you where your helm is, just don't send me back." The demon begged.

"Constantine. Stop!" Morpheus shouted, walking forward but Johanna pay no mind to him "I command you!"

"Dream of The Endless commands you!" The demon tried as Darcy sped around him and shoved Johanna against the wall, hand around her neck "Knock if off!"

"Run along and fuck off back to Hell." Johanna shouted over the Mikaelson's shoulder. The demon screamed as he was transported back.

"You have no idea what you've done." Morpheus announced as Darcy released the Constantine, who smirked at the pair cockily "I do though. I've just tripled my fee."

Morpheus and Darcy watched as she turned, yelling something to her colleague gob-smacked.

_________

The duo moved outside. Where they were approached by an elderly woman. The Original merely listened as she and Morpheus communicated. Johanna appeared, the duo turned their heads "I said the Sandman, and I meant the bleedin' Sandman. It's good to have you back, milord." The woman smiled at the supernaturals "Hopefully you don't fall prey to Ms Mikaelson's brother. Don't let her mess you about," she glanced at Johanna "both of you."

The duo turned their heads to Johanna in synic. The brunette in the white coat stepped forward, staring with slight amazment "My gran used to tell me stories about you lot."

"I've done your family for centuries."

"Then you know there's not one of us that can be trusted." She smirked slightly, find amusment in the fact but the Endless and Mikaelson did not "What do you want from me?"

"Something of his came into your possession." Darcy mentioned, tilting her head "A leather pouch filled with sand."

"I need it back."

"Oh, that was yours?" Johanna frowned "Bought it at an estate sale. Didn't even mange to get the drawstrings open."

"Where is it?" Morpheus questioned, desperation written all over his face.

"No idea. Could be anywhere."

"We must find it."

"Must we? Why is that?"

"Because without it," Darcy half growled "his realm will cease to exist, and if dreams disappear, so will humanity. And people like me, will have no bloody food."

"No offense, but...I could do without dreams for a while." Johanna went to walk away, but the original blocked her path smoothly "Haven't had a good night's sleep in ages."

"Nor will you." Morpheus said "Until we find the sand. We must go."

Johanna smirked, glancing between the the two "Does this approach generally work for you pair? You just turn up and order them about."

"Yes." The pair answered together, causing them to glance at one another as Johanna chuckled "Alright. I'll help find your sand."

"Good."

"First thing tomorrow,-"

"No." Morpheus protested.

"-and I work alone. Don't want you two and your friend following me all over London."

"Our friend?" Morpheus questioned, with furrowed brows.

"Is that not your raven?" She looked at the bird perching on a bench, the pair looked at it, Darcy looked at the ravenette worriedly as Johanna spoke "My gran said Dream always had a raven."

"Not anymore." Morpheus informed, emptily before slowly turning walking towards the bench. A low click of heels made Darcy turn her head, she frowned when she saw nothing. She scanned the area. Someone was watching them, but who? "Tell me your name."

She slowly backed away, joining Morpheus by the bench, eyeing the abandoned area cautiously before turning her attienton "It's, uh, Matthew, sir." The raven said nerviously.

"Matthew, I've made it clear to Lucienne that I do not require a raven this time."

"Yeah, she told me you'd say that." Matthew cawed.

"If I need assistence,-"

"Uh, you do actually..." Matthew cawed over him.

"-I will ask for it."

"She's getting away. Sir, she..." The duo turned to find Johanna gone "This is way you need a raven."

"Go back to the Dreaming, Matthew." Morpheus instructed, before turning. Darcy sighed, walking along side him. Looking around slightly. A vampire appeared, watching the pair go. The female smirked to herself "Just wait until Klaus finds out about this."

_________

The Endless and Mikaelson after walking around London had settled by a water feature. Matthew joined them "I'm back." Morpheus rolled his eyes "Yes," he drawled "in spite of my telling you to leave."

Darcy rolled her eyes, he sound almost as demanding as her brother "I...I can't I...the boss lady told me..."

"Luicenne is not you master." Morpheus said sharply.

"She told me you'd say that too."

Darcy chuckled making Morpheus glare at her slightly. She raised her hands in mock surrender. He turned to the raven, who had land between them "Do you know who I am?"

"Not entirely, but..." Matthew sighed "I don't even know I am anymore. A couple hours ago, I apparently died in my sleep, and now I...I'm a bird. I...I used to have thumbs. Now, I have these things." Matthew lifted his wings.

"Yes." Darcy smirked at the tiny, amused smile on Morpheus' face "And you must use them to fly back to the Dreaming. This world is not safe."

"You think I don't know that?" Matthew remarked "I lived my whole life here. That's why Lucienne sent me to help you two."

"My last raven came here to help me."

"Yeah? Where's he now? Ow!" Darcy flicked the back of Matthew's head.

"Her name was Jessamy. She died." Morpheus' voice broke "Trying to help me."

Matthew clicked his tongue, bowing his head as he shifted on his feet "I'm sorry. Look, let me at least help you find this woman. If she's asleep, we've probably got five or six hours before she's on the move again."

"If she's asleep, then I know exactly where to find her."

_________

After witnessing Johanna's dream or rather memory, the duo were stood before the Constantine woman, who sighed with defeat the moment she noticed them "For fuck's sake. How did you find me?"

"You were dreaming, love."

"But it wasn't only a dream, was it? It was a memory. No wonder you do not sleep."

"Maybe I don't deserve to." Johanna backfired.

"Perhaps not. But I can make it go away."

"Only if I help you find your sand."

"Although," Darcy chimed, glancing around "finding anything in this place may require more magic than even you can muster."

Johanna blinked, glancing between the pair several times before standing "I'll look in the office." She threw the blanket aside on the sofa "Try not to clean up while I'm gone."

"We're going with you." Morpheus stated making her halt before them "You have a gift for disapearing."

"Alright." She walked past them "But if the mess in here offends you, wait until you see my office."

"Why do you humans love objects so much?" Morpheus quried as Johanna rooted around her desk. She picked up a crossbow "They do come in handy sometimes. You seem pretty attached to your sand."

"It's not just an object, it's a part of me."

Johanna glanced at him "If that's true, how'd you happen to lose it?"

"It was stolen by another magic user called Burgess."

Johanna looked back at them "Wait, not Roderick Burgess?" Darcy's eyes narrowed as did Morpheus' brows, both in a scrowl "The old Demon King himself, eh? Everyone used to say he was a fake. Said he had the Devil and a lone God locked up in his basement." She looked up from her chest-a-drews "How the fuck did you..." the smile dropped from her face at the look in their eyes "Shit." She walked towards the pair, halting with a furrowed frown "It wasn't the Devil or a God he had locked up in his basement, was it? Were you down there? All this time?"

Morpheus turned his attention to a box beside him, pulling his hand out of his pocket to take a photostrip out "Is this you?"

"Why? Do I look that different?" She quried, stepping forwards and took the picture "Or younger?"

"No." Darcy shook her head "Happier." Johanna looked at her "I don't need to look at it, I know what the mark it leaves. Lose."

Johanna stared before her eyes widened, it clicked in her head. Original. "You're Darcy Mikaelson, aren't you?" She barely whispered "The Lonely God. Gran used to tell me stories," the brunette stared at the blonde intently "about your siblings and you. The woman who's like fire-"

"Stand too close and you'll get burned." Darcy nodded, before chuckling sarcastically "Yes, I've heard it all before. Tell me, what stories did you hear?" She tilted her head "Ones of how we're nothing but savage animals, who'd even betray one another?"

"It's inspiring," Johanna said, careful with her words, knowing that it would be a very bad idea pissing off an Original "your vow; always and forever. Remaining together for so long."

Darcy snorted, nodding "Not by choice for some of us. Poor Finn, lies in a box, forgotton by rest of our siblings. And Kol, desperate for scraps of attention from Elijah, Rebekah and Klaus. That vow, has been more of a curse, than anything, love."

Morpheus stared at the original beside him, saddened. Johanna glanced between the pair, she could tell something was going on between them "Shit." It clicked "I know where your sand is."

_________

"Who is she?" Morpheus questioned as the trio walked along "The woman in the picture."

"Her name's Rachel, Rachel Moodie."

"Did she deal in magic as well?" The original questioned, causing the brunette to scoff. Breifly turning her head, sending an amused smile.

"God, no. She's actually a decent person. Proper job, nice family. Fuckin' hated all the magic stuff."

"And yet you left the sand with her." Morpheus chimed.

"No, I did not leave it with her. Sort of left it. And her." The duo looked at her "I was staying at her place. She interpreted that as us living together, which we weren't, so, one night, I just went on a job and...never went back."

"Why?"

"Because it never end well, does it?" She looked at the pair.

"What?" Morpheus looked at her "Love? No, I suppose it doesn't."

"Maybe," Johanna glanced at the duo, knowing "in the odd circumstance, it does. Isn't love a vampire's greatest strength?"

Darcy smirked sarcastically "Some would say so. But to quote my backstabbing brother, 'love is a vampire's greatest weakness. We do not care. We do not feel.' It's just better that way."

"Because everything's highened, right?" Morpheus quried, catching her eyes "When your kind feels, they really feel."

"Yes." She looked forward, she'd admit that she was slightly surpised that he actually remembered what she'd told him "When we hurt, we really hurt. It's why so many youngsters turn it off. But no matter how hard you try," she caught his eyes "humanity always pushes it's way back in."

The three walked in silence before Johanna spoke once more "I don't know wether you've noticed or not, but people around me tend to get ripped in half or cast down to Hell. Safer for if I left."

"Did you tell her that?" Morpheus questioned as they halted outside under an archway, Johanna turned around standing directly in front of the pair "No. I suppose I'll have to now. This is her." She looked at the flat with dread "Or it used to be. It's been six months. Maybe she might've moved house." She walked to the box on the wall "Please, have moved house. Oh, bollocks." She pressed the doorbell for Rachel.

She claspped her hands in front of her, bouncing nevously on her heel "Maybe we'll get lucky and she won't be-" the doorbell buzzed, they looked at it, Johanna frowned "That's weird. She didn't even ask who it is." The duo shifted their eyes, the brunette looked at them "Maybe she's expecting someone. This could get awkward. More...awkward." she nodded, eyes wide "Wait here."

"We're coming with you." Morpheus stepped forward.

"No, your not." She protested "Do either of you have any idea how much she probably hates me, right now? Do you have any ex-girlfriends or boyfriends?" Morpheus glanced at the ground as the remaines of her and her sister's past boyfriends flashed in Darcy's mind.

Morpheus raised his brows, eyes broadened slightly "We will not wait long."

"You won't have to. She's gonna slam the door in my face, like I'm about to do with the pair of you...right now." She went inside.

Darcy sighed, walking toward the wall and leant against it, looking at her new boots. Morpheus turned, looking over empty street before them, eyes slowly wondering to the Mikaelson.

"I didn't think you remembered half the shit about my kind." She admited, meeting his gaze.

"I remember all of it." He said, making her hum.

"Do you two always do that?" Matthew's voice brought their attention to him, as he landed on the ground between them "Stare at each other." The pair glanced at the other breifly, before Darcy pulled herself off the wall.

"Where are you going?" He questioned curiously, the Mikaelson turned "To find somebody to feed off."

"Some woman's been following you." Matthew blurted, as she almost turned, she narrowed her eyes "Curly hair? Brown hair?"

"Yeah. You know her?"

A glare darkened Darcy's features, hybrid face slowly popping to the surface "Katerina." She growled, disappearing a blur. Leaving the Endless and raven to stare after her.

_________

"She died in peace. In her sleep." Morpheus informed stoic, watching as Johanna turned her head to the street "I'll let her dad know. You know," she looked back at him "she was actually a good person. There are a few of them out there, you know." She looked at the street, a light smirk took her lips "But you already know that, don't you?"

Morpheus turned his head, eyes landeding on the soaking, wet original who was locked in a heated exchange with another vampire in high heels. Johanna smirked at him as he watched the hybrid "They're not all like me and Rodrick Burgess."

"You are not Rodrick Burgess." He looked at her, Johanna smiled slightly, walking forward, halting. Matthew cawed making her look at him "And what's your friend's name?"

"His name is Matthew, but he is not my-"

"Look after him, Matthew, and Darcy." Johanna instructed "They need it."

_________

"You know Klaus isn't going to stop!" Katherine yelled as she attemptted to keep up with the hybrid "Not until he finds you. And we both know what happens to your friend once he does."

Darcy spun around "Watch it, love."

"Oh, we both know I'm right." Katherine reminded.

"Constantine!" The women looked over to the Endless and Johanna "That nightmare won't trouble you anymore." Johanna smiled, giving a nod before turning and walking away. The Endless shifted his eyes to the Mikaelson and doppelganger.

"Oh, god." Katherine breathed, eyes wide "He's the one you were trap with, isn't he?"

"Yes." Darcy sneered "I don't see how that your concern, Katerina."

"We were friends once, Darcy. You burdened me with being your conscience. And that's what I'm doing." Katherine stepped forward, placing a hand on the blonde's shoulder "There's something going on between you and him, and you know it."

Darcy glared at the doppelganger before her "I am sorry, Katherine. But never follow me again." The brunette frowned but screamed when the hybrid lungged forward biting her on the neck.

"No." Katherine breathed in panic as the original made her way to the raven and ravenette "No, no, no. NO! DARCY! Please!" Morpheus and Matthew looked between the two women as Darcy joined them in shock "Darcy!"

"Tell Klaus," Darcy shouted back at her "that I am never coming back until he undaggers Kol. And tell him to stop looking."

Katherine glared, clutching her neck before speeding away.

"What the hell did you do?" Matthew questioned confused.

"She pissed me off. And I need a message deilvered to my evil, backstabbing brother." Darcy shrugged lightly as if were nothing "Klaus and my blood is the cure, anyway."

Morpheus furrowed his brows "I thought he wanted her dead?"

"He does. But letting Katherine die by anyone's hands but his own is not his style."

"So what's our next move?" Matthew questioned.

"We're going in search of my helm." Morpheus said "And you are going back to the Dreaming."

"Or, we take him with us." Darcy countered, he gave her a look which made her rise her brows "And we'll never have to go though this again."

"That does sound tempting." He admitted "In fact, where we're going, I may have need of you." He kneeled down before the raven.

"Yeah? Where are we going?"

"Hell." Morpheus deadpaned.

"Hell. As in Hell-Hell, or are you being metaphorical?" Matthew stuttered as Morpheus got to his feet smoothly "Because either way, we should probably check in with Luicenne first, right? See how she's feeling about it?"

Morpheus pulled out his pouch, and poured sand on his hand. Darcy watched in awe as the sand swirled around them, Matthew's rambles fell on deaf ears.
