Gianna made her way out to the main dojo tightening her belt on around her waist. She mindlessly walked over to Tory who had been sparing with the dummy since Gianna got there.

"Hey."

Tory glances over, "Hey."

"Everything okay?"

"Fine." She says as she punches the dummy again

"Cool." Gianna nods as it becomes clear that Tory wasn't opening up

Tory looks over at her as Gianna looks around, "Thanks for helping us the other night. Even though those assholes screwed it up for us."

"I wasn't helping them, I was helping you." Gianna chuckles, "But you're welcome."

The two girls turn as the group of boys laughs again. Tory clenches her jaw before walking over, "You guys are pathetic. If you'd handled your business, we would have won."

"Okay, whatever. Hawk, he switched sides." Kyler says

"Yeah, Miguel just got out of a wheelchair and he still kicked your ass." Tory spits

"You know what? At least I'm still here. Half the squad quit."

The teens heads snap over as the dojo bell rings. Gianna's eyes catch Robby's as he enters. Tory scoffs, "Well, look who showed up."

Robby stays quiet as he continues on to Kreese's office. Kyler shakes his head, "That fool doesn't even practice, but he gets to stay? I don't get it."

Gianna's eyes follow Robby before he disappears into the room. Her attention back on Tory and Kyler as they continue arguing.

As Gianna shuts the front door behind her, she watches Jennifer pack up her purse. Dressed in her work uniform with her hair pulled back, "Hey."

Jennifer looks up, "Hi. Um, I left some money in your room so you can order whatever you want for dinner."

"You're going in?" Gianna asks as Jennifer stops, "I- thought you were off today."

Jennifer nods, "I was, but someone asked me to cover."

"Right." Gianna nods as sadness begins to creep in and settle. Things had been this way since she snapped at her the night of the fight.

Gianna had tried to apologize, but chopped up sentences and a jumble of words seemed to spill out. And while Gianna thought that had fixed things, since Jennifer smiled at her and told her she appreciated the apology, Jennifer had also taken any opportunity to leave the house. Extra shifts, random errands, lunches with friends. Gianna couldn't help, but feel unwanted.

"I'll be back around 8 tomorrow."

"Okay." Gianna nods. Jennifer gives her a small smile as Gianna makes her way to her room.

"Ready, bow." Johnny says and the students follow

"Sensei Lawrence and I have the same goal of preparing you for the tournament." Daniel says, "But we have different ways of getting you there. We realize that teaching you opposing viewpoints at the same time can be a little confusing."

"So we've discussed it and come up with a solution." Johnny nods, "We're gonna divide and conquer. Eagle Fang trains out front."

"And I'll be back here with the Miyagi-Dos."

Jasmine's brows furrow as she turns to Sam. Sam looks back at her as Miguel steps up, "I thought we were stronger working together."

"We're still working together."

"Just separately." Johnny says, "On opposite ends of the dojo. All right, Eagles, follow me."

"Miyagi-Dos, come on over here."

As the students begin to disperse, Jasmine sighs.

Gianna's steps slow as she looks into the workout room. Robby grunts as he continues to benchpress his weights. Gianna's first thought was to leave him be seeing as he hadn't made an effort to talk to anyone in the dojo, but she couldn't help, but to feel curious.

"You're supposed to have someone spot you, you know."

Robby glances over before looking away, "I don't need a spotter."

Gianna chuckles as she steps closer. Robby sets the weight down before standing up, "Looks like you've upgraded from running away to hiding."

"I'm not hiding."

"Could've fooled me." Gianna says, "I don't remember seeing you at the fight."

"What were you even thinking? That you'd break into the LaRussos' and hurt Sam and everything would be sunshine and roses?" Robby asks, "You're lucky the LaRussos didn't call the cops."

"I didn't go there for Sam, I went for Tory." Gianna corrects

"So you're following Tory now?"

"At least I'm not straddling the fence. Girls like Sam LaRusso think the world revolves around them. And why shouldn't she? All she has to do to get what she wants is make a puppy dog face and say please. Even after she dropped you, she's still got you wrapped around her finger."

"That is not true."

"Then why are you defending her?" Gianna asks tilting her head. Robby stays silent as Gianna takes a step closer, "You're right to skip practice. If you're gonna stay on defense, this isn't the right dojo for you."

Robby's eyes search her face before Gianna walks out.

"Does Miguel know that you went to talk to him?" Jasmine asks

"No." Sam sighs, "And I didn't really plan on saying anything. Especially since it didn't work."

"You should still tell him."

"I don't know." She mutters, "He's a good person, Jas. He's just blinded by anger right now."

"Yeah, I get it."

Sam looks up at her computer, "Have you seen Gianna?"

"No." Jasmine says, "I hope I won't have to."

"I can't believe she joined them in that fight."

"Me either." Jasmine says, "She's just trying to get back at me for when she was in juvie, but it's not my fault she got in trouble. Is my life just supposed to stop because of it?"

"Of course not." Sam says shaking her head, "Unfortunately, like Tory, this one mistake you made is enough to make her hate you."

"Or like Robby, she's a good person who's making bad decisions." Jasmine mutters before she sighs, "Just have to figure out which one first."

As the students entered the dojo, confusion and anger flood through them. They all stand around as Robby stares back at them.

"Get a load of this chump. What are you doing here?" Kyler says

"Sensei Kreese isn't back yet, so I'm gonna get you guys warmed up." Robby says

"You've never been a part of this team and you think you're our sensei? Get the hell outta here, man."

"Who says we even want you?" Tory says

Robby looks around at the teens. His eyes landing on Gianna before shifting back over, "Okay, hit me. Any of you. If any of you can land a hit, I'll go."

"All right." Kyler shrugs before kicking at Robby. Robby side steps him as a few other students run at him.

He kicks Kyler's leg out from under him before looking around, "Who's next?"

Robby kicks a student back before pushing another fist away. He elbows them in the ribs before punching them. As another student runs at him, he kicks them away before turning and focusing on another. Gianna watches as each punch the student sends, Robby blocks.

He then takes a hold of their arm as another boy runs at him. He kicks her back before kneeing the other and shoving him away. He takes another student and swings them around before kicking them back into another who had attempted to stand again.

Gianna's brows furrow as Robby begins to take on Kyler and Tory. Making no mistakes in his defense though he had become outnumbered. He successfully fights them off before turning to Gianna, "You just gonna watch?"

Gianna grunts as she sends a roundhouse kick at him. Robby leans back before pushing Gianna's fist away. As Gianna turns, Robby pushes her forward. Gianna huffs as she straightens up. The two walk back into the middle of the mat before getting in position.

Robby ducks as Gianna kicks again. He blocks a kick she sends to his ribs as Gianna keeps pushing forward. He blocks more punches before grabbing her arm and flipping her on her back.

Robby stands up, "No hard feelings?"

Gianna doesn't waste another second before she twists around and kicks him in his nose. As he lands on the ground, Gianna stands up. Robby stands slowly and the two breathe heavily as they stare at each other, "A deal's a deal. I'll go."

As Robby turns away, Gianna can feel her heart begin to race. She takes a few breaths before calling out, "No."

Robby turns around. His brows knitted together in confusion. Gianna looks him up and down, "Stay."

She nods as her chest moves rapidly. Robby gives her a small smile along with a nod.

"Over at Miyagi-Do, our enemies are uniting against us." Robby says, "They think by working together, they have the advantage. They think they're better than us. And I should know because I used to be one of them. That officially ends today."

"I'll admit, at first, I didn't want to join Cobra Kai. But eventually, we all need to look ourselves in the mirror and realize who we really are." Robby says as his eyes drift over to Gianna before he looks away, "Now, we may have taken some losses, but it's not about how you start. It's about how you finish. And to beat the enemy, it helps to know the enemy's playbook. So I'm gonna teach you Miyagi-Do karate, so we can beat Miyagi-Do Karate."

The students exclaim before looking over as Kreese walks in. Robby nods, "They're warmed up for you, Sensei."
