"There's a reason Miyagi-Do is difficult to learn." Robby says as he walks between the teens practicing their blocking, "These blocks are incredibly precise. Each one is designed to overcome a specific attack."
Robby stops in front of Gianna, "Show me wax on, wax off."
Gianna nods as she gets into position. Robby swings at her and Gianna quickly lifts her right arm up to block before doing the same with her left. Robby nods before looking away, "The more you learn Miyagi-Do, the tougher you are to defeat."
"Except for one tiny flaw." Kreese says, "Their entire style is reactive, which means all their moves are counter moves. That means that we are in control. And we can use that to set traps."
Robby steps up to Tory, "Show me paint the fence."
The two get into position before Robby swings at Tory and she does the move she previously learned. Robby then gets down and sweeps her leg from under her. Tory grunts as she lands on her side. Robby stands up and looks down at her, "Sorry. Just part of the lesson."
Tory jumps up and flips Robby onto his back before kneeling over him and attempting to swing on him.
"Enough!" Kreese yells, "Nichols, in my office. Continue the lesson."
Robby pushes Tory hand off of his chest as she stands. Gianna frowns as she watches Tory disappear into the room before turning back to Robby. His face was scrunched up in annoyance as he continued the lesson.

After class ended, Gianna found herself sitting outside of the dojo. She hadn't really quite figured out why she was waiting, but as the door opened again, it came to her.
"Hey."
Robby looks up and frowns, "Hey."
"You good?"
"I'm fine." Robby shrugs
Gianna smiles lightly as she chuckles. She shrugs, "Okay. You busy?"
"Why?"
"Because I'm bored and want someone to hang out with."
Robby's brows shoot up, "You wanna hang out with me?"
"Tory's MIA and I don't like anyone else here." Gianna says before gesturing toward him, "That leaves you."
"And you like me?"
"Haven't figured that out yet, but since you were almost Tory's punching bag, I figured you could use a stress reliever." Gianna says before stepping out into the parking lot. She looks toward him, "You coming or not?"
Robby's eyes follow her as she walks further away from the dojo. He debates with himself for a few seconds before following after her.

"The skate park is your outlet?" Robby says. Teens ride around them as they get closer to the park. He looks towards Gianna as she shakes her head.
"Watching people skate is my outlet." She corrects, "I never actually learned how."
"So, watching kids trip and fall is your outlet?"
Gianna chuckles as she takes a seat on a bench, "Yeah, I guess so."
Robby takes a seat next to her setting his bag beside hers at his feet. As a silence falls over them, Robby becomes curious. Gianna had been to herself and quiet for the majority of the time she had been in the dojo. She had never made an effort to talk to anyone besides Tory.
"So, why did you ask me to come with you?"
Gianna turns to him, "I already told you-"
"I don't believe that."
Gianna scoffs while shaking her head. She looks back out toward the park as she goes silent. She sighs, "For some reason, I'm curious about you."
"Curious?" Robby asks furrowing his brows
"Yeah."
"Why?"
"That's what I'm trying to figure out." Gianna says finally turning to him, "I mean, I have questions, but I'm trying to understand why I'm even curious about you."
"What questions do you have?"
"Not questions, but I am curious as to how you ended up in Cobra Kai." Gianna says, "You were running with the good kids and then now you're here."
Robby clenches his jaw, "I screwed up. You haven't?"
"No, I know that I have. But I've never actually been with the good kids." She says, "I've always been a screw up. I had one good friend, if that's even what you wanna call her."
"And what happened?"
"She showed me that she wasn't a good friend. Picked other people over me." Gianna explains, "She's with Miyagi-Do now. So, I guess it doesn't matter anymore, huh?"
"So, you kind of ran with the good kids and now you're here. Been to juvie and have to figure out how to deal with it. Just like me." Robby says
"Sure." Gianna shrugs
Robby hums with a nod, "I have a question?"
"What?"
"How'd you end up in juvie?"
"You haven't heard about it?" Gianna scoffs, "It was everywhere. My aunt kept telling me about it."
"I meant, how did you even get to that point?"
"Trusted the wrong person." Gianna mutters
"Oh."
"But I can't put all the blame on them because it's on me that I trusted them."
"Right." Robby nods, "You know, you're a lot different than I remember."
"Yeah?" Gianna chuckles lightly, "How so?"
"You're a lot meaner, that's for sure."
Gianna's smile widens, "Is that all?"
"Still trying to figure it out."
Gianna turns toward him, narrowing her eyes as she scans him before looking ahead again. A comfortable silence falls over them and Robby finds himself staring at Gianna.
The girl's eyes wandered around the park, watching different teens try tricks before falling and trying again. It had only felt like a second of her being open before immediately shutting down again. He didn't know why the question made her close off so abruptly, but now he was curious about her.
