My boyfriend was just about the sweetest person in the world. He thought of me everytime he went out. The hottest girls would flirt with him and he'd reject them. Never once did I have a slight feeling of distrust for him.

And that wasn't going to change.

We were sitting on the couch together. He was sitting with both legs folded onto the couch and I lay on top of him hugging his waist with my head in his chest.

"Hey, Rae?" Beast Boy asked

"Yes?" I replied

"I wanna tell you something."

"What is it?"

He sat up and I adjusted myself. "I remember when I first asked you out."

"Me too."

"And we had pizza at the library and got kicked out."

I laughed at the memory "Yeah."

"And then when you kissed me at the arcade a couple days later.  We kept our relationship secret for a while. And I remember that time that I said I loved you and you didn't say I love you back for a month because you thought Trigon was going to hurt me. And even when we broke up for a bit because of Terra. I cried so hard that week. Do you remember when we got back together and had our first Valentine's day? That's when you decided we should tell the Titans and they ended up knowing." He knelt down and almost cried

I felt tears pour out of my eyes "Yeah, I remember."

"I want to make new memories with you, so, Rae, will you marry me?"

I engulfed him in a hug "Of course, you big idiot!"

He returned the hug. When we separated, he slipped the green and purple ring onto my finger. It felt just perfect being there with me.

Just like some people.
