Idk I'm feeling inspired for drawing and writing lately, it's super weird but whatever I'm not complaining.

The drawing is a suicide squad/ Teen Titans crossover I drew it myself 😆 it's supposed to go along with the The Joker to My Harley chapter

It was the hottest heat wave to ever hit Jump City. The temperature was going above ninety at some points. The community pools were packed with people waiting to get a feel of the chlorinated water in their scorching skin.

Of course, no Titan would ever need to step foot inside a community pool. The mayor provided them with an entire beach to themselves and more luxuries as thanks for saving the world several times.

The Titans were enjoying a good day at the beach. Raven was underneath a palm tree reading a book while the rest of the Titans enjoyed a game of volleyball on the hot sand.

"Team Romance wins again!" Robin yelled. They were competing Romance versus Bromance. Cyborg and Beast Boy were on team Bromance while Starfire and Robin played on team Romance.

"Your serve, Grass Stain." Cyborg said and handed him the ball.

He accepted the ball and attempted to throw the starting shot but failed so miserably, the ball actually went backwards and hit Raven's head. She kept reading her book and kept all eyes on it as she threw it into the ocean.

"Why'd you do that, momma?" Beast Boy groaned

"Do what?" Raven still fixated her eyes on her book and turned a page

"You- Ugh! Nevermind!" He took her book and threw it into the ocean along with that ball.

"I swear to god, BB. I will kill you!" She used her powers to throw him into the ocean.

"You're polluting the sea." Cyborg quipped

Raven laughed and watched a Beast- Boy-turned-shark swim in the water

Raven joined a game of beachball in the water. Of course, Cyborg had to sit out because of his robot parts.

"Robin, Raven! You're captains! Robin, you're the leader, you go first. Pick your teammate." Cyborg instructed from the sand

"Star" Robin said and Starfire went and hugged him

"Ugh." Raven groaned as Beast Boy swam to her. Surprisingly, the two worked together and even won the hand.

"Woo!" Beast Boy cheered and hugged Raven when they won. "Boardwalk, anyone?"

"I could go." Robin said

"I would like to play some of the earth carnival games." Starfire said curiously

"Yeah! Carnival games!" Cyborg agreed

"I'll pass on the carnival games." Raven said

"Me too. I'll go with Rae." Beast Boy said and took Raven to the boardwalk and he went to the arcade. Raven laughed at him failing Guitar Hero and they played against each other. Of course, they both tied terribly.

"Dance Dance Revolution?" He asked after losing a match of air hockey.

"What's that?"

"It's one of those dancing games where you have to match the arrows on the screen to the ones on the game pad."

"Huh?"

"You'll see." He directed her to the Dance Dance Revolution

"Oh, I've played these."

"Let's go." He put tokens into the slot and turned into an octopus

"Cheater!" Raven chose her song and started dancing. She didn't just hit the arrow. She made some extra moves too. She jumped over the support pole, lipsynched, and successfully seduced Beast Boy with a few certain moves. She won by 79 points and set a new high score.

"Wanna eat?" He panted

"Sure." She replied with ease

He bought some snacks for them and plopped down onto a booth. They sat there awkwardly staring at each other before Raven formed a question.

"So, why did you wanna come with me?" Raven asked and sucked on the straw that was poking out of her cup of Dr. Pepper.

"I just... I wanted to tell you that I-" he was interrupted by Starfire calling for them outside the arcade

"Hold on." He took a mustard packet from the condiments table and threw it behind Starfire, making her to run after it.

"Genius move." Raven admired and giggled "What were you gonna say?"

"Nothing. I just didn't want you by yourself when it became dark."

"It's dark already?" Raven looked out and it was, indeed, just about before sundown

"Wanna watch the sunset?"

"Sure" They stood up and went out onto the beach again. He took her hand unexpectedly, causing her to blush. They sat onto the sand and waited for the sky to turn elaborate shades of pink, orange, and yellow.

"Have you ever thought about why the sun sets?" Raven asked and put her head on his shoulder "I have. I think it's scared. It's scared of what happens in the dark. It's scared of things that aren't true. So it lets it's fear take over and collapses under the weight of the sky. It's putting pressure on it. Scaring it. Giving him scary thoughts. The sun gets tired of it and just hides until it's light again."

"Or maybe the sun knows it glows too much so it lets the moon give off the little shine it has. Maybe the sun wants to help the moon so it gives it some of it's glow. Maybe the stars are pieces of the sun as a gift to light up the sky. And maybe the sun is pushing the moon to go up into the sky because it wants the moon to shine."

"Maybe."

"Uh... Rae, I-I... I like you. A lot."

"I like you too, Beast Boy. You're a good friend."

"No! Not as a friend! As more than just a friend. I like you as... as a girlfriend." The sky started showcasing an array of colors. Raven blushed and before she knew it, his lips were leaning into hers and they were in the warm, salty wind of the beach as it howled and blew her hair away from her face.

And their lips met just when the sun fell below the horizon and, unlike the daytime sun, their love did not fall under the weight of the sky.
