"Are you okay, baby?" Jungkook turned around and hugged Jimin close. He caressed Jimin's back but the younger nodded before pushing Jungkook's hand away. The good time they were having was spoiled. Jimin paid for the date and Jungkook drove them back home.

Jimin remained silent during the entire ride while Jungkook worriedly glanced at him from time to time. Just as Jungkook locked the door after entering the house, Jimin stared at him. "What did you pay for?" 

"Can we just forget about it? What's done is done. Let's not spoil our mood further." Jungkook pulled Jimin inside from the door and the younger pried his hand away as they reached into the living room.

"I want to know if it was all because of me. I want you to share things with me or do you not treat me as an equal partner?" Jimin's eyes were forming a sheen with anger and Jungkook was fucking scared. 

"She sued for the patient privacy breach. She was naked and someone who was not medical staff, aka you, walked in. I had to pay some amount of fine. I also went ahead and filed a restraining order against her when that happened because the lady used to prompt advances on me... sexually," Jimin frowned. "I never returned any of her actions." Jungkook was quick to add in his defense.

"How much?" 

"Can we just sit and then talk? You are scaring me like that." Jungkook added in a sort of whine and Jimin snorted a chuckle. He sat down and Jungkook snaked his arm around Jimin's shoulder. 

"1 million dollars." Jungkook uttered, squinting his eyes.

"WHAT?!" Jimin's eyes widened. "I am going to fucking kill her." He stood up and Jungkook quickly pulled him back into his lap. 

"Leave me, I will fucking punch her senseless and discard her ugly ass vagina into the trash can, where she belongs." He kept throwing his hands and Jungkook stifled a laugh. Jimin was tiny but uncontrollable. Jungkook had seen him kicking before, it all made him laugh furthermore.  

"It is going to cost her innumerable that she broke the order. Don't worry, Karma got to her." Jungkook spoke between his chuckles.

After calming down, Jimin was downcast, thinking about how Jungkook had gone through it all alone, and on top of that, he was an asshole of a human who threw his own breakup party that Jungkook witnessed. 

"Honey... Say something. You don't look good when you don't speak. I am marrying you because your voice does not let me feel bored," Jungkook jested and Jimin smiled. The older got an idea. "Let's go get some ice cream."

They went to the same ice cream truck where Jungkook always brought Jimin. Walking towards a park, they found a spot to sit and enjoy their sweet treat in peace. 

"Are you ready for the day?" Jungkook asked as they looked at the ocean ahead. Sun was hiding behind the horizon now, and it was a really calm setting with the vermillion sky. 

"I am," Jimin smiled and rested his head on Jungkook's arm. 

"Do not forget the bet." Jungkook instigated and Jimin punched him hard. 

"Babe!" The older bellowed in pain. 

"Sorry. You deserve it." Jimin ran away and Jungkook remained seated. The model collided with a man who pushed him back. Jungkook saw that and he sped up. Before Jimin could react, the man was already speaking. "It is you. You have got a new man for the night, huh?" The man asked him and Jimin glared at him. It was the same man that assaulted him once.

Jimin felt anger build inside him but he debated if he should act on it or not. He did not want Jungkook to get involved albeit he had told him all about that incident. The man provoked Jimin and in the end, he could not just hear being slut-shamed by him. He packed a heavy punch on the bastard's face and the man punched back.

It was before Jungkook could reach them, but before he could lay another finger on Jimin, Jungkook caught his hand and shoved him to the ground. "It is worthless to fight over a bitch. I don't wanna hurt you, man. Just leave him to me and we are good." He told Jungkook as the doctor leaned down to pick him up.

Jungkook realized it was the same man whom he beat in the flower shop. It was as if the memory of this man being devious and trying to scar that innocent girl gave Jungkook a vivid imagination of how it must have gone down with Jimin. It sparked the anger of such magnanimity that he lost it. 

He punched him once, punched him twice and that was enough to knock the man senseless. Jungkook did not stop there. He kept punching his face and blood splattered on the grass. Jimin was shaken at the violent scene in front of his eyes that he did not move for few frozen seconds. 

Soon, he came out of his trance and rushed to pull Jungkook away who had deformed the man's jaw. Jungkook's body was shaking in anger and it took each ounce of strength in Jimin to pull him away.

Jimin hugged Jungkook tightly and the latter as if got electrocuted back to sense. He looked at his bloodied hand and then at Jimin. He immediately kissed the younger of his head. "Are you okay?" Jimin nodded his head quickly. "We have to call the cops." Jungkook tried to take out his phone from the pocket but Jimin stopped him.

"No, what if they take you in. We are getting married in 3 days. Please just leave." He begged and Jungkook cupped his face. A little blood smeared on Jimin's cheek and now Jungkook apprehended that he should not have beaten the guy. More than his own self, he was worried about Jimin. 

"We have to, baby. Otherwise, we will be in bigger trouble." Jungkook called the cops and they brought the man to the hospital. He sent Jimin home and went to station with the police.

Jimin was worried sick. He felt nauseous the entire time his fiance was away. Three hours later, the door opened and Jungkook walked in with a bandage on his hand. Jimin ran to him and slammed into his body. "What happened? Why are you so late? Will they come for you?" 

"It's all good." Jungkook held Jimin and caressed his back. 

"What happened there?" The younger asked as they got in the bedroom. 

"Yoongi testified against him and told the cops what he had done to you. I also had someone testify against him. He was the one who attacked the little girl in the florist shop I told you about. The surveillance cameras in the park had captured today's attack so everything was against him. They might call you in for the statement but as far as I am concerned, they let me go with a warning and a little fine." 

"Why are you always getting in trouble and paying fines because of me?" Jimin rebuked and Jungkook pulled him closer. 

Jungkook held Jimin's cheeks tightly and Jimin's lips puckered with the pressure. "Don't think that this will be your excuse to back out of the marriage." 

Jimin shook his head. "Do you know how worried I was? What would have I done without you?" He spoke with the same puckered lips.

Jungkook chuckled and released Jimin. "Relax! I did not kill anyone. I just broke his jaw and paid for the expenses. I am good enough to take someone's breath away and skilled enough to put it back." Jungkook grinned.

Jimin laughed at that as Jungkook sat on the bed. "Can you give me some water, baby? I am very thirsty." Soon, they sat on the bed, snuggling. 

Meanwhile, a letter was delivered to a lady. "What is it?" The man asked in her bedroom.

"It seems like some notification. Do we have any pending bills?" The lady asked the man.

"Not that I know of." He sat straight on the bed and opened the envelope to find a card.

Two hours had passed. Jimin got a call from the station. He requested if he could virtually record the statement instead of going because he was getting married soon and the cops agreed.  Nothing was ruined as he thought.

He was looking at his watch to see the date and time. They were now only four days away from their wedding as the clock struck 12. "Jungkook, I never asked but how did this watch do that?"

"The proposal?" 

"Mhm." Jimin nodded.

"There are magnets in there and the proposal countdown started the moment I put it on your hand on the Ferris wheel. So you can say, I proposed to you up there." Jungkook pinched Jimin's nose. "It was programmed in it to spell it out. Mine was synchronized with you, but it was a few seconds ahead to give me some buffer. That is why I was stalling you that day by saying it was my birthday so that these bloody things work at the right time."

"This is... Amazing." Jimin averted his gaze from the watch to Jungkook. "Really amazing. How are you so romantic?" He kissed Jungkook repeatedly on his lips, not letting him answer.

Jungkook pulled the man with his good hand and climbed over him. "What if they did not work?" Jimin giggled from under Jungkook. 

"I would have thrown Kai in Han river."
