After Miguel had mentioned the two families coming together for dinner, Jamie brought it up to her mom. The woman was more than happy to have them over to all finally meet each other.

So, Miguel told his mom, grandma, and Johnny about it and that's how they all ended up in Jamie's apartment. The adults were holding conversations in the kitchen as Jamie and Miguel sat in the living room watching them.

"I'm so glad they get along." Jamie sighs in relief

"Yeah, it's going a lot better than I thought."

"My mom was definitely not a fan of Sensei after the whole fight."

"Mine either."

Jamie smiles as she sees Johnny and Carmen laughing together, "And now look at them. Falling in love."

Miguel groans turning to her, "Jamie, please."

"What? It's true. You can't tell me you don't see it."

"No, I don't want to."

"Ah, see." She points, "You don't want to. Doesn't mean it's not there."

Miguel narrows his eyes at her as she smiles. The two turn as Johnny plops down on the couch next to Jamie, "Hey, Ms. Jackson."

"Hey, Sensei." She smiles

"So, Diaz finally got the balls to ask you out, huh?" He teases. Miguel sighs as Jamie laughs.

"Yeah, I guess so."

"Good, that's good." He nods before he turns back to the kitchen. Jamie and Miguel watch him stare at Carmen. Jamie turns to Miguel with a big smile on her face. He rolls his eyes as she pokes at his side.

The night went on with casual conversations and much laughter between the two families. Jamie and Miguel were very grateful for the fact that everything was going according to plan.

Carmen, Johnny, and Miguel's grandmother stood with Jamie's mom at the door. Their conversation coming to an end as the family was getting ready to leave. Miguel and Jamie stood off to the side.

"Tomorrow is hopefully going to be an easy day since we're training with Mr. LaRusso. Hopefully I won't come home as sore." He chuckles

"I feel bad for the Miyagi-Do's. Johnny's training is never easy. I still have cement fumes in my lungs."

"Miggy, let's go, sweetie." Carmen says as she steps outside

Miguel turns to Jamie as Johnny and his grandmother follow Carmen with Jamie's mom still talking to Carmen.

Jamie notices his hesitance, "You okay?"

"Uh, yeah." He scratches his neck, "Is your mom okay with like the kissing and stuff?"

Jamie laughs as she shakes her head. She grabs the side of his face and pulls him down for a kiss. He kisses back placing his hand on her waist. She pulls back before pecking his lips once more. He smiles lovingly at her.

"Miggy." Carmen calls out

"I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" He says

"Bye." She smiles

"Bye." He smiles back as he makes his way to the door, "Bye, Ms. Jackson."

"Amber." She corrects

"Right. Goodnight, Amber." He says shyly

Jamie's mom smiles at him before she closes the door behind him. She turns back to Jamie with a teasing look in her eyes. Jamie frowns as she watches Amber walk closer to her.

"I don't like that look at all."

"Tell me all about it."

"About what?"

"You and Miguel." She exclaims

"Oh, no." Jamie shakes her head, "We're not doing this."

Jamie starts to make her way to her room.

"Come on, Jamie. You know, I can be a cool mom."

"Ew, no." Jamie exclaims as she hurries to her room

"Jamie!"

"So, how'd that dinner with Jamie's mom go?" Hawk asks. The students of Eagle Fang stretched in Miyagi-Do waiting for Mr. LaRusso.

"It went good, I think." Miguel nods, "She and my mom seemed to get along."

"That's good." Hawk nods

"I mean yeah, but, you should've heard the way Ms. Jackson was talking about Jamie's future. She's working so hard to save for Jamie for college and Jamie's working so hard for scholarships. What if she thinks I'm not good enough?"

"Dude. You're El Serpiente. You're an All Valley champion. Just show Ms. Jackson what you're made of." Hawk says as Miguel smiles lightly, "You're gonna crush whatever Mr. Larusso throws at us today."

"Compared to Sensei Lawrence's training, today's gonna be a vacation." Mitch says

"Who's going on vacation?" Daniel says walking in

"Uh, no one. What have you got for us today Mr. LaRusso?" Miguel says

"Come here." Daniel says waving them over.

"Thank god you're taking your driver's test. I'm sick and tired of driving you around." Sienna says jokingly

Jamie looks over at her as she stops at a red light, "Whatever. You literally beg me to drive with you sometimes."

"Lies."

"You ask me to do the same thing." Nevaeh says from the backseat

Sienna scoffs as she looks in the rear view mirror, "Shut up. I only hang out with you because of Mom."

"Well, you can stop now. I'd much rather die of boredom than hang out with you."

"You're a little bitch, you know that?" Sienna says turning back to her

"Oh my god." Jamie chuckles as the sisters go back and forth

"Awe, look its little Miranda spending quality time with her sister." Anthony says. The girls turn and see him laughing with his friends.

Nevaeh scowls as she scoots closer to the window, "Shut up, LaRusso."

"Shut up, Miranda."

"That's mini LaRusso?" Sienna says to Jamie

"I guess so."

"I'm literally gonna rip your arm off and shove it up your ass."

"Woah." Jamie exclaims

"Jesus, Nevaeh." Sienna says

"What? He's so annoying." She says to Sienna before she turns back toward Anthony.

"Don't make threats, Miranda."

"That's not a threat, it's a promise." She yells as she leans further out of the window

"Go, go, go." Jamie says as the light turns green
