Jamie basically went straight to sleep after Jack walked her up to her apartment. She got Sienna to get her bag, but unfortunately for Miguel, he got chewed out by her. He tried to get in contact with Jamie, but she avoided him. Even at practice and school, she'd brush him off.

The All Valley Tournament came a lot quicker than anyone had expected. Jamie stood with Eagle Fang as they waited for the announcer to call them out. Everyone stretching around her as she paced shaking her hands out and cracking her neck.

"Jamie." The girl stops and turns as Miguel stands in front of her, "Can we talk?"

"We have the tournament, Miguel." She says simply

"Please, Jamie. I just want to explain myself."

"There's nothing to explain." She scoffs lightly, "You were just protecting her. I get it."

"I was trying to avoid more drama like we both wanted."

"If you wanted to do that, you wouldn't have gotten involved at all." She chuckles humorlessly

"Jamie, please-"

"Not right now." She says finally looking him in his eyes. His face falls further as he deflates. She walks past him toward the group as they stand in front of the door. Miguel trudges to the front by Johnny.

"And finally... this dojo is making their All Valley debut, though you'll recognize a few familiar faces." The hear the announcer say, "Every year, a new dojo rises up the ranks. Does this newcomer have what it takes to win it all? Please welcome Eagle Fang Karate, led by Sensei Johnny Lawrence and defending champion Miguel Diaz!"

Eagle Fang walks out as the crowd cheers for them. As Jamie walks out, she looks in the crowd and sees Sienna and Amber cheering by Carmen and Yaya. The dojo walks to the front of the mat between Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do.

"At the end of the day, only one of these dojos can be crowned Grand Champion. Welcome to the 51st annual All Valley Under-18 Karate Tournament!" The crowd cheers. The announcer chuckles, "It's karate time."

Johnny was giving the Eagle Fang students a pep talk. Or what Johnny would consider a pep talk. Jamie focused in on him, but Miguel had a hard time doing so. He kept glancing over to Jamie, but she hadn't given him a second thought. What she could see, was Sam looking over at them from the corner of her eye.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes, Sensei."

"All right, good. Let's warm up."

"Diaz, Jackson, a word." The two walk over to him as the others warm up on the mat. Jamie sighs as she stands by Miguel, "Listen, I know what's been going on with you two lately."

"You do?" Miguel says

"Yeah. You haven't gotten over that little spat with each other. I can totally relate."

"Right." Miguel mutters as Jamie looks away

"My junior prom was an absolute shit show. I need you two to focus on winning. You two will make up, but right now your team needs you. Okay? Let's get to work." He pats Miguel's shoulder before walking away.

Jamie storms off to the others on the mat. Miguel watching her as he slowly follows behind her.

The tournament started off with a skills competition. All teams sent in different students to show off different talents. For Eagle Fang, Miguel and a couple of other students went up. They were beating Cobra Kai at first, but with a mess up from Mitch and some mess ups with Miyagi-Do, Cobra Kai came out on top.

Next, were the qualifier rounds.

"How the hell are we in sixth place?" Johnny exclaims

"The skills events are weighed differently. Gold medals are ten points, silver..." Devon tries

"I don't give a shit about the math. What do we need to beat Cobra Kai?"

"Math, Sensei," Jamie says

"To catch up on points, we need to win as many matches in the qualifying rounds as possible. The further we get, the tighter the vice around Cobra Kai's metaphorical balls." Devon nods

"Okay. Good. Now you're speaking my language." Johnny points

Jamie sighs as she rubs her face.

The rounds started with a bunch of different teams going against each other at one time.

Before her round even started, Jamie could tell her opponent was antsy and was definitely going to charge at her without a second thought.

So, when the referee started the round and the girl charged at Jamie, she pushed her away. As the girl turned to swing at her, Jamie ducked and kicked her in her side. The girl's arm went to her side, so Jamie took the opportunity to send a kick to her stomach earning Eagle Fang a point.

"Yes, good job, Ms. Jackson." Johnny claps as the team cheers for her

The girl gets back up and gets into position. Jamie, again, could tell she was going to charge at her. Which she did as soon as the round started.

The girl swings at Jamie, but Jamie ducks again. She backs away as the girl comes closer. The girl kicks at Jamie, but Jamie puts her arms up to block her. The girl swings at Jamie who pushes her arm away. The girl swings again with her other arm that Jamie pushes away.

The girl stumbles slightly before regaining balance. She tries to show off and jump up to kick Jamie, but Jamie steps back and roundhouse kicks her sending her to the ground.

"Point! Winner!" The ref says holding up the flag.

"Yes!" Eagle Fang cheers. Jamie smiles as she walks up to them on their side of the mat. She gives Johnny and Devon a high five before standing beside Devon. She looks to her right and notices Miguel standing by her with a slight smile on his face. She smiles back lightly before turning back to the mat.
