Jamie's steps were fast as she follows after Sam into the hallway, "Sam."
Sam stops as she turns. She was not expecting Jamie of all people to follow her.
"Is there a reason you're being such a bitch to everyone?"
Sam's frown deepens, "Excuse me?"
"Ever since you've found out about Tory cheating, you've had this bitchy attitude and I can't figure out why."
"Tory cheated. She's been working with Kreese this whole time and she knew Silver rigged the competition." She says, "My dad being hurt could've been prevented if she would've told the truth."
"I get you're upset about your dad, but it's not all Tory's fault. The tournament wouldn't have been any different for you." Jamie says
"It could've, but we'll never know now."
"I beat you fair and square." Jamie says stepping closer, "Tory cheating affects me way more than it does you. So, stop being such an asshole to everyone who had nothing to do with you losing. You did all of that on your own."
Sam's face hardens as she stares back at Jamie. As Jamie just stares right back at her, she turns away storming out of the building.
Jamie stands there for a second before she turns back toward the apartment. Before she can take any steps, Miguel comes into view making his way toward her.
"Everything okay?" He asks as he stops in front of her.
Jamie nods, "Yeah."
"I know it sucks, not getting the answers we want."
"Well, we got something, so." Jamie mumbles. Miguel nods, "If I knew the tournament was rigged, then that could've been something I wasn't so hard on myself for this summer. So many things could've been different."
"Look, Jamie, I know that you're upset with Tory and you have reason to." He starts, "But we know what it's like to be in Cobra Kai and it must have been so hard for her to admit what she knew."
"Yeah, I know, but she could've said something. Anything." She says looking up at him
"I know. Definitely, but the fact of the matter is that she did admit it and now- now it's up to you to decide what to do about it."
Jamie looks down at her shoes as she processes his words. Miguel watches as she looks up at him. He doesn't expect a kiss from her, but gladly accepts it. He's confused as she pulls away quickly.
"I'll text you." She says as she starts to walk off
"Wait. Where are you going?"
"I'll be safe. I love you." She says as she rushes off
"I love-" He starts, but she's already gone. "you too."

Tory sits on her couch as she sets an ice pack on her knuckles. They were bruised and more than likely broken from a "training" she had at the dojo.
She felt terrible. She knew she should've admitted what happened, but she didn't know how. She and Jamie hadn't talked since the girl was in Cobra Kai.
Each time she saw her after the school fight guilt rushed through her. Then the tournament happened and she found out it was rigged. Not only did she feel like a failure herself, but she felt even worse for Jamie.
The girl had grown to become someone that Tory admired. It seemed like no matter what was thrown at her, she came back even stronger. It was a trait that Tory hadn't seen in many people in the Valley.
She looks up as she hears a knock at her door. She gets up hesitantly, but opens the door anyway. Her eyes soften as she sees Jamie standing outside of her door.
"Jamie?"
"I-" She starts, but her words fall short as she notices Tory's hand, "What happened?"
Tory hides her arm behind her back, "It's nothing."
"Look." Jamie sighs, "I don't exactly know why I'm here, but if you're having problems with Cobra Kai, I'm here to listen."
Tory eyes her curiously before walking away toward her couch. Jamie steps in closing the door behind her. She looks around at the trash and empty containers around the living room and kitchen. Her eyes land on a door that was open. She notices what looked like a hospital bed in the room with someone covered in blankets.
She looks away before walking further into the living room.
"I wanted to win the All Valley more than anything." Tory says as she sets the ice back on her hand, "When they handed me that trophy that was the best moment of my life, but then I saw Silver and that ref, and it just killed me. I felt like a fraud."
"I wanted to get back at Silver so bad. That's why I listened to Kreese," She says looking up at Jamie, "but then I got caught up in more lies and now my life is a living hell."
"I didn't know what you were going through." Jamie says with a slight shake of her head, "and I would've appreciated if you would've just come to me and told me everything."
Tory looks up at her with a saddened expression as she continues, "But now that I do know everything, maybe we can help each other. We tried to talk to Stingray. He basically admitted it was Silver who assaulted him in the old dojo. He's afraid to go to the police."
Tory eyes widen, "I knew Silver was involved, but I had no idea he did it with his own hands."
"Problem is we can't prove it." Jamie sighs
"If it happened at the old dojo, maybe we can." Tory nods. Jamie furrows her brows as she looks at the girl. Tory gets up and walks into another room. Jamie looks around as she waits for the girl to come out. She comes back out and Jamie notices the wrap on her hand, "Come on."
Jamie follows behind Tory and as she opens the door, the two are shocked to say the least. None other than Sam LaRusso was standing outside of her door. Sam definitely wasn't expecting Jamie to be there as well.
"What are you doing here?" Tory says
"Listen, I know the two of you aren't the biggest fans of me, but if we all work together we can figure this all out a whole lot faster."
Jamie looks over toward Tory. The blonde tilts her head slightly to the side before walking out of the apartment. Jamie closes the door behind her as the three make their way out of the complex.
