Jamie makes her way to her locker to put away some extra books before lunch.

"There she is."

Jamie turns and sees Sienna. "Hey."

"JJ, you have yet to show me this guy you talked about."

"Didn't I tell you to stop calling me that?" Jamie sighs

"Whatever. Who is he? What does he look like? How tall is he? Give me some info please." Sienna whines as they walk towards the cafeteria.

"I haven't even seen him yet and if I did, I wouldn't tell you."

"You know what? Whatever. You show everything with your face anyway." Sienna says as they get in line

As the girls sit down with a couple of Sienna's other friends, Jamie looks around unconsciously. Her eyes widen as she sees Miguel sitting at the table next to them. With Miguel are two boys, Demetri and Eli. She knows who the boys are, seeing as they have a couple of classes together, but they aren't really friends outside of school.

Sienna realizes that Jamie is staring to her side and follows her view. She gasps as her eyes land on Miguel.

"Oh my god, that's him?" She exclaims

"No."

"Yeah right, you're such a liar. He's cute." She says turning back to look at Miguel

"Will you stop staring? You look creepy as hell." Jamie says putting her hand on Sienna's shoulder to turn her.

"Who cares? I was given eyes for a reason." She scoffs. Jamie groans as she puts her head on the table, "He's digging himself a hole by hanging with the nerds."

"They're not nerds, Sienna. Be nice." Jamie says as she sits up

"They're not bad nerds. Just nerds in general." She shrugs

Jamie looks again towards Miguel and frowns as she sees the seat empty. She looks around and sees him walking towards the popular girls table. Sitting at the table are three girls named Yasmine, Moon, and Jamie's former friend, Sam.

"Seriously?"

"What?" Sienna says. Jamie nods her head towards the other table. Sienna turns and nearly cackles, "No chance."

"Of course that's who he goes for."

"That's who everyone goes for unfortunately. Nothing new, babe." Sienna scoffs

They watch as Miguel tries and fails to talk to the girls. Failing due to Kyler, the school wide bully, instantly crushing any hope.

"Knew it." Sienna laughs

Jamie sighs, watching as Miguel makes his way back to his table, which awaits an amused Demetri.

Jamie walks out of her last class of the day and makes her way to her locker again.

"Uh.. excuse me?" Jamie turns and her breath hitches. "Hi." Miguel smiles

"Hey." She breathes

"I'm glad to see someone I at least kind of know."

"Oh yeah. We actually have Science together, but I sit all the way in the back." Jamie rambles

"Oh." Miguel sputters, "I didn't see you."

"Oh yeah, uh, no worries. Not a big deal." She shrugs

"I'll be sure to look out for you then." He smiles again

"Yeah, for sure." She chuckles

"Okay, well, my ride is waiting so I'll see you tomorrow."

"Yeah." She nods

"Bye."

"Bye." She waves as she watches him walk out the front doors

"You're such an idiot dude, oh my god." She rambles to herself and she shuts her locker, " 'We actually have Science together', what?" She scoffs as she walks out of the school
