While waiting for Robby, Miguel decided to get some ice cream for the three to share, but as they sat there, Miguel had been the only one to actually eat it. The two girls sat on opposite ends of the table while Miguel sat in the middle.

"Ooh." He says taking a bite, "So, I mean, it's our senior year, right? College right around the corner. Kinda crazy."

"Yeah, I mean, it does feel just like yesterday that we were dissecting fetal pigs, and now we're planning our futures between training every day." Jamie says as Miguel smiles, "My mom wants me to keep my options open, but Stanford is where I wanna go. It'll be easier once we've heard back from them."

"Fingers crossed." He says before turning to Tory, "What about you, Tory?"

The girl looks up, "It's kinda hard to get in anywhere when you spent almost a year on probation."

Jamie looks down at her hands as Miguel nods, "Right. Um..."

Miguel's words die out as he opts for taking another spoonful of ice cream. Jamie places her head in her hands as she looks around.

"Jamie!"

The girl looks over as Mikayla walks over with Jack right behind her. Jamie sits up with a smile, "Oh my god, hey."

"Hi." Mikayla beams

"What's up?" Jack smiles

"Um, not much just uh-" Jamie starts looking to Tory and Miguel before turning back to the other two, "Waiting for someone."

"Cool." Jack nods, "Uh, Miguel. How you been, man?"

"Good. Good." He nods, "How about you?"

"Great." He smiles, "Been focusing on school. I got a scholarship for football for UCLA."

"Seriously?" Jamie chuckles, "That's amazing, Jack."

"Thanks. What about you? Where are you guys headed?"

"Waiting to hear back from Stanford." Miguel nods

"Me too." Jamie smiles

"Well, I'm sure you guys are gonna get in." Jack says

"Of course." Mikayla nods, "We were actually about to go, but we'll see you guys soon?"

"Yeah, absolutely." Jamie says

"Okay, great. Bye guys."

"Bye." Miguel and Jamie say

"Bye." Jack says, "Oh, good luck on your tournament."

"Thanks, man." Miguel says as they walk off. Jamie turns back toward the table with a sigh. Miguel looks back and forth between the two girls as it goes silent again, "Um, maybe we should go look for Robby."

"Sure." Jamie says. Tory nods as they all stand up and head back toward the games. It doesn't take long for them to find him. Jamie furrows her brows as another guy steps away from him with Kenny.

"You know that guy?" Tory asks

Robby turns to them, "It's Kenny's brother. Met in juvie. He told me to leave Kenny alone."

"You're not gonna listen to him, right?"

"Do whatever you need to do. We'll have your back." Jamie says before looking to Tory. The blonde nods as the two boys look between them.

"Okay." Miguel nods, "We're there for you, man."

Robby gives them a small smile before walking off.

The teens waited at the batting cages as Robby went to try and talk to Kenny again. It was only a few minutes before Kenny's brother, Shawn, pushes Robby back.

Robby takes a second before stepping up to Shawn. Kenny steps in between them to try and pull Shawn away, but Shawn swings at Robby. Robby ducks and punches Shawn in the stomach. He pushes Kenny away as he tries swinging at him before turning to Shawn.

He blocks Shawn's hits before Shawn eventually grabs him and tosses him into the cage.

"Miguel." Jamie warns

"Yeah." He says before running into the batting cage. He sweeps Shawn's leg from under him before standing up. He then turns to Kenny, "You heard what he said. We don't wanna fight."

Kenny yells out before kicking at Miguel. Miguel blocks it as Kenny stands and begins swinging at him. Miguel blocks all of his hits before elbowing him in the stomach. Kenny tries kneeing him, but gets blocked.

As Kenny falls to his knees, Miguel looks up at a clicking sound. A ball comes flying at him from the machine and luckily, Miguel thinks quickly and punches it away.

Kenny stands back up and swings at Miguel who blocks him before pushing him down. Robby and Miguel turn their attention to Shawn as Kenny looks to the left of him. Tory notices the bat lying beside him and rushes in.

As he reaches for it, she steps down on it, "Really?"

Kenny stands up, "Out of my way, Nichols. I don't wanna hit a girl."

"That's sweet." Jamie says standing beside Tory, "But don't worry. You won't."

Jamie and Tory look to each other before Kenny tries rushing past him. The girls grab his arms and yank him back.

"Kenny, you have a place at our dojo." Jamie says, "Everyone has a place at Miyagi-Do. It doesn't matter what happened in the past."

Tory looks to Jamie as Kenny clenches his jaw, "It matters to me."

He tries walking past them again, but they grab his arms. He tries yanking them away, but the girls hold on, "We're just trying to help you, Kenny."

He pushes Jamie back before trying to do the same with Tory. Tory holds onto both of his arms as he jerks her around. Jamie pulls his arm away from her before they both push him back. He tries running past again, but the girls move together to block him.

He yells as he runs at them, but they dodge him and push him away sending him into the cage. Jamie and Tory breathe deeply as he stands up again. Shawn steps in and puts his arm out, "That's it, little bro. Let's go."

"What? No, no, I'm not going anywhere."

"Yes, you are. Security's coming." He points, "We're done."

He turns Kenny toward the door before leading him out. Kenny slams the gate closed as Robby and Miguel walk back over to the girls.

"Well, that could have gone better." Robby says

"Could have gone worse." Miguel smiles

Jamie turns to Tory, "You picked up Miyagi-Do pretty fast. Hell of a lot faster than I did."

"Yeah, well, I fought Sam enough." Tory shrugs, "I guess some of it must have rubbed off."

Jamie chuckles as she looks away from her. Robby and Miguel share an excited look at the two finally talking to each other.

Miguel steps back as Jamie sends a punch to his glove covered hand, "That was good. Great actually."

"I feel like it's not enough. I'm trying to make sure I implement Miyagi-Do too."

"That's okay. Don't psych yourself out." He says, "We only had a few weeks of Miyagi-Do before the All Valley and we're just getting back into it. You'll get it."

Jamie nods while taking a deep breath and getting into her fighting position again.

"Jamie." Hawk says

Jamie turns toward him as he points toward the tree. She looks over and her face immediately hardens. Priscilla walks over with her bag on her shoulder.

"Jamie-" Miguel tries

"What the hell are you doing here?" Jamie spits

"I just came to train." Priscilla says

"Train?" Jamie scoffs, "You don't deserve to be here. Find somewhere else to go."

"Jamie, I'm sorry, okay?"

"Sorry?" Jamie exclaims, "You sent me to the hospital with a broken wrist and bruised ribs. Not to mention the fact that you almost sent me over a fucking railing."

"Jamie-" Miguel tries again while putting his hand out

"You broke my nose."

"You deserved it." Jamie says as Hawk walks over

"Jamie, just relax."

"Relax?" Jamie chuckles humorlessly, "You guys can be all forgiving and embrace this change all you want, but I'm not forgiving her."

"What's going on?" Daniel asks as he and Johnny walk over. The confrontation now grabbing the attention of the other students as well.

"It's nothing, Mr. LaRusso." Miguel sighs

"I'm sorry, Jamie."

"No, you're not. You're a fucking liar." Jamie exclaims

"Okay, let's just calm down." Daniel says, "What's your name?"

"Priscilla." She says, "I used to train with Cobra Kai, but Kenny told me you accepted him here, so I thought I'd give it a shot."

"She's also the one who sent me to the hospital and attacked me for no reason any chance she got." Jamie says

"Anyone can change, Jamie." Daniel says, "As long as she's willing to learn, she's welcome."

"If she's here, I'm not training."

Miguel's face drops, "What?"

"Ms. Jackson, I think you should take a second-" Johnny tries

"No!" She yells, "I was willing to train with Sam even though we can't stand each other, I was willing to train with Tory even though we have our shit going on, and I've compromised on everything as all these changes happen, but this" She says pointing to Priscilla, "I'm not willing to compromise on. I'm not training with her."

"Jamie, if you just relax and take a second." Daniel tries as Jamie scoffs

"No." She says shaking her head

"Jamie-" Miguel starts

"I'm leaving." She says

Miguel reaches out and grabs her arm, "Jamie, hold on, please."

"No." She says yanking her arm away and pushing past Johnny. Miguel drops the gloves he had and follows behind her.

"Jamie, wait." He says as she grabs her bag from the platform. Jamie ignores him as she continues out of the dojo. Miguel's steps quicken as he steps in front of her and grabs her arms to stop her, "Jamie, baby, please listen to me."

"No, I need to leave."

"No, please." He tries, "Just talk to me for just a second."

Jamie lets out a huff as she finally stands still. Miguel's hands stay on her upper arms, "I know you don't want to train with her. I understand that. Trust me, but you don't need to leave, okay? You deserve to be here."

"I'm not staying here with her." She says looking up at him, "I don't need to deal with her. I'm not gonna forgive and forget because all of a sudden she wants to turn a new leaf. It's bullshit."

"I know, but Jamie you've grown so much since you started karate. You deserve to be in the Sekai Taikai you can't throw that all away because of her. Who is she?"

"She's the bitch who broke my wrist, bruised my ribs, almost sent me over a balcony, and made my life a living hell everyday you were in the hospital and everyday after that. Anytime I think I got rid of her, she comes back."

"And you've come back stronger each time. You've kicked her ass five times, Jamie. She's nobody compared to you." Miguel says, "I don't understand why this is freaking you out."

Jamie stammers before letting out a sigh. She runs her hand through her hair as she looks away. Miguel's eyes never leave her face as she looks off. His brows creasing as her eyes begin to water, "Jamie-"

"It's too much." She says shaking her head

"What is? What are you talking about?" He says softly

"Change." She says looking to him, "This whole year it's been change. Leaving Cobra Kai, change. Trying to get into Miyagi-Do, change. Letting go of my dad, change. Trying to be cordial with Sam, change. College is a huge change and now Priscilla. It's all too much and it's happening too fast.'

"I understand it's happening fast, but you're not alone in any of that, Jamie." Miguel says, "Sienna, Hawk, Demetri, me. We're all right here. I'm right here."

"And all of that can change in a second." She says, "We're all growing up and figuring out what we want to do. We're trying to go to Stanford together, but anything can happen. College can pull all of us away from each other and there's really nothing we can do to stop it. It's life. And that terrifies me."

"If there's two things I can guarantee, it's that Sienna is not leaving you. She loves you too much to let you go. She was miserable the summer you were gone." Miguel says stepping closer, "And the other is that I'm not leaving you. Never. I don't want to. I love you."

"You can't promise that."

"I am." He says, "I'm not leaving you, Sienna isn't leaving you, and we're not gonna let college or anything tear us apart."

Jamie looks down as they both go quiet. It's only a few seconds before she shakes her head again. Miguel's eyes catch hers as she looks up, "I need to go."

"Jamie-"

"I just wanna go home." She sniffles

As much as he didn't want to let her go, he knew she needed the time to herself to clear her head. Miguel deflates as she stares back at him. He nods softly, "Okay."

He places his hand on her cheek before pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. Jamie's eyes shut as she revels in the intimate moment before Miguel pulls away. He lifts her head up and places an even softer kiss on Jamie's lips. Jamie doesn't hesitate to kiss him back, but Miguel pulls away a lot quicker than she wanted him to.

"I love you." He says

"I love you." She says quietly before completely pulling away from him and heading to her car. Miguel watches her get in and pull off before letting out a sigh and turning back to the dojo.
