"Okay, pick your head up."

Jamie stands behind Sienna as she removes the towel from Nevaeh's head. Nevaeh lets out a deep sigh before lifting her head up. Sienna and Jamie smile as Neveah's eyes go wide.

"Holy shit."

"It looks good, right?" Sienna smiles

Nevaeh turns to them, "My hair is pink."

"It looks good." Jamie says as Sienna forces Nevaeh's head toward the mirror

"I think I did pretty damn good for not being a hairstylist." Sienna says running her hands through her sister's hair.

"You did."

"Aside from you almost burning it all off." Nevaeh says

"Oh, shut up. It's still all there." Sienna says rolling her eyes as Jamie giggles. Jamie turns as she hears the doorbell go off, "Finally."

"Took them long enough." Jamie mumbles as she leaves the bathroom. She makes her way to Sienna's front door and swings it open with a smile. It quickly drops when she's met with Eli, "Oh."

"Well, hello to you too." He says before pushing past her into the house

Jamie's eyes follow him before she looks back outside. A huge smile spreading across her face as she sees Miguel. She hurries down the steps as he walks up the driveway.

He smiles wide as she wraps her arms around his neck, his own going around his waist. The two swaying back and forth as he leaves kisses on her cheek.

"Hey, baby." He mumbles as she pulls away

"Hi." She smiles, "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever."

"I know. I've been so caught up with my mom, Johnny, and Robby-"

"No." She interjects, "I'm not upset or anything. I get it. You guys are working on your relationships."

"Yeah, but I still wanna make sure I make time for you."

"You do." She nods, "You're here now."

Miguel smiles softly as Jamie finishes. He couldn't be more grateful for her patience and how understanding she had been. With his mom being pregnant and Robby and Johnny becoming family, he had a lot on his plate. But if there was one thing he could count on, it was Jamie being his safe space. The one place he could go and feel the stress of the world fall off of his shoulders.

Miguel leans in and places a soft kiss to Jamie's lips. The girl smiling softly as she melts into it. Her hand comes up and tangles itself in his curls. His hand squeezes her waist causing her to let out a giggle. Both of them pulling away with a smile. They look over as the door opens.

"Get a room." Eli teases as he shuts the door behind Sienna

"Shut up. As if you and Sienna don't do worse." Jamie says as they make their way to Miguel's car

"She's not wrong." Miguel says

"Okay, so when we do it, don't say anything." He shrugs opening the back door for Sienna

"You guys quite literally stick your tongues down each other's throats." Jamie squints

"It's a little PDA, it never hurt anybody." Sienna says sitting in the car

Jamie scoffs playfully as Miguel closes her door and walks to the driver's side. Jamie turns to the back, "It's like way worse than PDA."

Miguel's door shuts before he starts the car. Eli smirks, "You don't wanna see what we don't do in public."

Jamie and Miguel's faces scrunch up in disgust, "Dude."

Sienna hits Eli's arm as she rolls her eyes. Eli laughing as Jamie gags.

As the teens enter the arcade, they immediately look around for their friends. With the day being karate practice free, they decided to have a group hangout. It would also be good for them to at least be acquainted with one another seeing as they would be competing in the Sekai Taikai together.

"Guys!"

The teens turn and see Demetri waving wildly at them. As they make their way over, Jamie's eyes fall on Sam and Tory. She turns to Sienna who had been thinking the same thing as she wraps her arm around Jamie's.

"No drama. Just have fun." She mumbles

Miguel and Eli greet the others and quickly fall into casual conversation. Sienna immediately walks over toward Mikayla and Jack who were convinced to tag along with them. Her squeal of excitement being heard throughout the arcade.

Jamie looks over as Tory walks up to her, "Hey."

"Hi." Jamie says. An awkward silence falls over them as the others carry on. Jamie lets out a small sigh, "So, uh, how have you been?"

"Good." Tory nods

"Good. You and Robby doing okay?"

"Yeah." Tory says as her eyes trail over to Robby who stood with Miguel and Eli. She looks back at Jamie, "What about you? How are you?"

Jamie nods, "Good."

"Cool." Tory mumbles. Jamie nods to herself as they look away from each other. Jamie didn't think she had ever felt more uncomfortable. Which was odd considering the girls were friends once upon a time. Of course, karate had changed that, but she didn't think it'd be this awkward for her.

"Jamie." Miguel says walking up. Both girls look over at him as he stops in front of them, "Hey, Tory."

"Hey." She says with a small smile. She looks between them before nodding, "Uh, I'll be back."

"Yeah." Miguel says as she walks away. Jamie's eyes follow her as Miguel looks to her, "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, it's just weird." She says looking up at him

"But you're okay right?"

"Yeah." She says

"Okay. Just wanna make sure."

Jamie could see the concern behind Miguel's eyes. While she knew he was just being a good boyfriend, she hated making him worry especially when she knew she could handle herself.

She steps closer placing a hand on his arm, "I'm fine. Seriously."

Miguel smiles softly as he nods. Jamie's eyes wander around the room before a smile falls on her face. She turns to Miguel, "Wanna get your ass kicked in air hockey?"

Miguel laughs, "Yeah right, like you could."

"Let's go find out then."

"Yeah?" He says playfully

"Yeah." She says before turning away from him and making her way to the machine. Miguel smiles before following after her.
