It had been a couple of days since Jamie got that text from her Mom. She rushed home and literally begged her Mom to tell her she wasn't joking. When she confirmed that she wasn't, Jamie could feel a huge weight being lifted off of her shoulders.

Sienna almost had a heart attack when she got an incoming call from Jamie. For the past two weeks, she could barely get a complete sentence out of her, so when she called it was very unusual. She was so happy that her friend had finally gotten good news out of all of this and that she was going to be somewhat okay.

Jamie walked into the library on her free period. Sienna, unfortunately, had class, so she decided she would do some homework. She set her bag on a seat before she walked towards the books.

She was going through a couple of books before someone walked into the same aisle. She didn't think anything of it seeing as there were hundreds of kids in school and hundreds of kids with the same free period.

"Jamie."

Her heart drops as she looks up. She could feel anger immediately corse through her as she turns to Sam, "What?" She spits

"How are you?" She stammers

Jamie chuckles humorlessly as she turns back to the shelves. Sam stands switching her body weight from leg to leg as she sighs, "Jamie, I just want to make sure you're okay. What happened was very traumatizing for the both of us."

"Traumatizing? For the both of us?" She says pointing between them, "It wouldn't have happened if you would've just stayed away from Miguel."

"I was drunk, Jamie. I didn't realize what I was doing."

"You had been messing with Tory way before that. You couldn't fathom the idea of Miguel being happy with someone else." Sam looks down as Jamie raises her brows. "Am I wrong?"

"It was an accident." Sam says looking up

"Accident or not, Miguel is still in the hospital because of you. All because of you and Tory fighting over someone that wasn't yours anymore."

Sam blinks rapidly as Jamie takes her book and leaves the aisle.

Jamie and Sienna sat at lunch talking about whatever came to mind. Sienna talking mostly, but Jamie listened as she ate.

They look to their left as someone sits down beside them. Sienna rolls her eyes, "What do you want, Eli?"

"Hawk." He corrects, "And I need to talk to Jamie." The girl raises her brows as Hawk turns to her, "Why haven't you been coming to class?"

"Because I'm not in karate anymore." She says as she looks down at her food

"What?" He frowns, "What are you talking about? Cobra Kai is for life."

Sienna chuckles in disbelief. Hawk tries to ignore her as Jamie looks back up, "If you think I'm gonna be in karate with Kreese as my teacher, you're out of your mind." She says as she eats a grape.

"What? You want Sensei Lawrence as your teacher?" He scoffs, "He's weak. He's the whole reason Miguel ended up where he is."

"Miguel ended up where he is because of the bullshit Kreese is teaching." Jamie snaps

Hawk clenches his jaw before he slams his hands on the table and gets up. Sienna's eyes following him before he's out of her peripheral view.

Sienna chuckles, "There's no way he's serious."

Jamie's eyes widen as she shakes her head looking down at her food again. She looks up as she picks another grape up. She stops as she sees Jack on the other side of the cafeteria. They make eye contact as Jamie smiles. She waves at him and his face brightens. A huge smile takes over as he waves back at her. She laughs as she turns back to Sienna.

Jamie made it home a couple of hours later. It was starting to get dark as she has finally spent some time with Sienna. She looks up and stops as she sees Johnny sitting on the steps leading up to her apartment. He looks up as she comes closer.

"Excuse me." She says. He gets up and backs away as she starts to walk up.

"Ms. Jackson." The girl stops and turns. She sees his face all bruised up, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry about what happened to you and Miguel." Her face softens at the mention of Miguel, "I never meant for that to happen to you guys."

He looks up at her with teary eyes. Jamie nods as she swallows back tears. He nods at her as she continues to walk up the stairs.

Jamie makes it into her apartment and sets her bag down on the couch.

"Jamie?" Her mom calls out

"Yeah. It's me."

Her mom smiles as she walks in from the kitchen, "I was getting worried about you."

"Oh, sorry, I was just hanging out with Sienna."

"Really?" She says as her smile widens. Jamie nods as a smile of her own appears, "Well, that's good."

"Yeah."

"Oh, I have a surprise for you." She says as she walks closer to Jamie.

The girl frowns confused, "What?"

"Tomorrow, if you want, I can pick you up from school and take you to see Miguel."

Jamie's face falls into one of shock, "Really?"

"Yeah." Her mom nods, "Carmen said he can have visitors now. I know it's been a little while since you've seen him."

Jamie chuckles, "Yes, please. I really want to see him."

"Okay. Right after school tomorrow." She smiles. Jamie smiles widely as she hugs her mom. The woman holding her close as she sighs in relief.
