"He hasn't answered any of my texts. I don't know what I did." Sienna says

"I'm sure it's nothing." Jamie says

"It has to be something. Maybe I've been too mean or something. I was kinda mean Saturday. I didn't actually mean I wasn't gonna pay him back."

"Sienna, that's literally nothing. I've seen you do worse to your own sister."

Sienna leans on her locker, "Yeah, but she deserves it." She mumbles. She looks around before she straightens up. "Demetri." She yells. The boy looking around before he raises his brows. He walks over to the girls.

"Hey." He says

"Where's that dweeb?" Sienna says

"Dweeb?" Demetri mutters as he looks towards Jamie

"Hawk." Jamie nods

"Oh, I'm not sure actually. I haven't heard back from him since last night."

"What happened last night?"

"Cobra Kai cut his hair."

"They what?" Sienna says in shock

"Yup." He sighs

"Oh my god." Jamie says looking toward Sienna

"I'm sorry, JJ. You have to find your own ride home." Sienna says

"Don't worry about it. I'm volunteering anyway."

"Good. Demetri let's go." She says quickly before she storms off. Demetri stumbling behind her.

"I don't get it. I thought girls today were supposed to be tough. Why can't we find anyone for our team?" Johnny says

The council decided that boys and girls were going to be competing separately for the All Valley. Johnny and Daniel split their dojos up, so now he had no girl to compete. So, he and Miguel were looking around for new recruits.

"Maybe not everyone needs karate. Especially girls who are already on sports teams." Miguel says as they walk around outside.

As they look around, Johnny's eyes land on Jamie, "Jackson plays a sport?"

Miguel furrows his brows before he sees Jamie, "Oh, no. She volunteers for different things for her clubs. I guess she's helping out with practices."

"Maybe we can get her back." Johnny says looking to Miguel before turning back

"No, Sensei-"

"Ms. Jackson!" He calls out. Miguel sighs as Jamie turns to them. She puts whatever she had in her hands down before walking over to them.

"Hey." She smiles

"Hey, babe." Miguel says with a small smile

"We need you Ms. Jackson." Johnny says

Jamie furrows her brows, "For?"

"The tournament. It's split up for boys and girls to compete and we need a girl. You're the best one I've had so far."

"Sensei, I haven't actually practiced for that stuff in months. I'm sure you can find someone better."

"We've tried for awhile." Miguel says, "No luck."

"Please, Ms. Jackson." Johnny says. Before she can answer, Moon walks over to them.

"Hey, Jamie. Miguel."

"Hey, Moon, what's up?" Jamie says

"Some perv was creeping on the track team so we're gonna practice inside." She nods. Jamie and Miguel share a loo,. "What are you guys doing here?"

"Recruiting for our new dojo." Miguel says

"Eagle Fang Karate." Johnny points

"Yeah. You know, you should join, actually."

"Really?" Moon smiles, "Okay. Yeah, that sounds like fun." Her smile quickly drops, "Wait. Do... Do I have to hit anyone?"

"Hell yeah, you do." Johnny nods

"Oh, no, then I-I'm out. I... I can't do the whole physical aggression thing. You should ask my ex."

"Hawk? Yeah..." Miguel says

"No." Moon shakes her head, "My other ex. She's the best athlete in school and she's not afraid to get into a fight."

"Sounds like the badass babe we've been looking for." Johnny says

"Don't say babe, Sensei." Jamie cringes

"Yeah, you might want to take a different approach with her. Want some pointers?" Moon smiles

"Absolutely." Miguel says

"Jamie!"

She looks to her left as a girl waves her over. Jamie nods with a smile before she turns back to Johnny, Moon, and Miguel.

"I have to go, but I'll probably see you guys inside anyway." Jamie says

"Yeah, okay." Miguel nods. Jamie kisses his cheek before she walks back toward the girl.

She turns quickly, "I'll think about it, Sensei."

Johnny smiles with a thumbs up before Jamie turns and jogs back to the team.

Demetri hurries down the stairs with Sienna right behind him. He sighs as he sees Hawk.

"Where the hell have you been?" He says as he and Sienna make it to Hawk's basement

"How'd you even get in here?" He says as he looks at the both of them

"Uh, your mom's left the key under the gnome since kindergarten." Demetri says as he tosses the key to him, "You should think about increasing the security given, you know, the karate war. But that's not important now."

"Yeah? What's so important?" Hawk mutters

"Didn't you hear? The All Valley has separate gender divisions. I mean, do I look like Miyagi-Do's best hope at defeating Robby Keene?" Demetri paces, "I mean, Mr. LaRusso says that anyone can be the hero, but I'm not Batman. I'm more like Alfred. You're Batman."

When Hawk just looks back at him, he stops, "Oh right, I forgot, you're not a DC guy. Whatever. Forget Batman, you're the Hawk."

"Yeah, not anymore. So..." He says as he takes off his hood and his hat

"Hey, at least it looks better than the last time I saw it." Demetri tries

"It's not even that bad." Sienna says sitting next to him

"Everyone at school knows what happened." He says looking to her before he looks back down to his computer, "It's embarrassing."

"Who cares what they think?" Sienna scoffs

"Besides, it'll grow back." Demetri says

"It doesn't matter. I ruined my reputation, talked a big game, and just proved I was an asshole. To Jamie, to Miguel, and especially you two. I got what I deserved."

"Hey, I forgave you, remember?"

"And I don't care if you have a Mohawk." Sienna says. Hawk looks over at her, "Miyagi-Do needs you."

"I'm not going back to Miyagi-Do." Hawk says

"Well, that's just great. You're choosing Eagle Fang over your best friend." Demetri sighs

"I'm not going back to Eagle Fang either, all right?" Hawk exclaims, "I'm done with karate, man. I quit."

Sienna and Demetri look at each other as Hawk deflates.

Sienna and Demetri had been trying for what seemed like forever to try to convince Hawk to change his mind, but he wasn't budging. Sienna sat in between them with her arms crossed over her stomach. Demetri shakes his head in disbelief.

"You can't quit." He says

"I already told you, I made up my mind."

"Hey, you're the one that got me into karate, remember? I was perfectly happy playing Dungeon Lord after school, but you put me in a situation where I had to join a dojo. And you know what? It was the best thing that ever happened to me."

"I got stronger, gained confidence, got the girl of my dreams... Even if she ends up leaving me
for some hot Aussie dude she meets there."

Sienna furrows her brows.

"Hell, I'm actually excited about the All Valley tournament. I never thought I'd say that. But it's not gonna be as exciting if you're not there."

The room goes silent as Hawk fails to respond to Demetri's pep talk, "Okay, you're gonna make me do this."

Sienna and Hawk watch as he digs through his pocket. He stands up as he pulls out his phone plopping down in between them.

"Ow." Sienna says in an obvious tone

"Excuse me..." He puts the phone out to show Eli videos

"You said you deleted these." He says

"Oh, I say a lot of things. Which tends to be a polarizing attribute of mine."

Sienna leans over Demetri's shoulder to see what he was showing Hawk. A video plays of the two of them singing together dressed in funny costumes. As much as Sienna wanted to laugh, she knew he was trying to cheer him up, so she held it back as much as she could.

"Why are you showing me these?" Hawk sighs

"Because this is who you are."

"A loser?" He mutters. Sienna raises her brows in agreement.

"My best friend. I know you think that that Mohawk defined who you are, but it didn't. Not to me." Demetri shakes his head, "Eli, Hawk... hell, call yourself Cornelius for all I care."

Sienna leans over, "Don't do that."

"None of that changes the fact that you're my Binary Brother. Whether you're number one, or a zero." Hawk looks to Demetri who smiles at him. He pats his shoulder before he gets up. "I'll be back."

When Demetri leaves the room, Sienna looks to Hawk. She scoots closer causing him to look at her. She looks up at his hair.

"You know, it's really not that bad." She says

"Yeah, it is."

"It's not. You know I wouldn't lie, I have no reason to."

Hawk sighs as he looks down at his hands.

"When I threatened to shave your hair off for my next doll, I didn't think someone would actually beat me to it." She jokes. Hawk chuckles softly as he looks up, "As much as I liked the Mohawk, I think I like this better."

"Really?"

"Yeah." She nods, "Makes you look more like Eli."

Hawk smiles very softly. Sienna almost hadn't seen it.

She takes a deep breath before pushing her hair back, "You're so much more than the Mohawk, trust me." She says. Hawk stares at her as she comes closer, "Look, I like you a lot and I know sometimes it might not look like it, but I do. Hawk didn't make me feel like that, Eli did."

"Sienna."

He's cut off by Sienna leaning in and kissing him softly. He kisses her back just as softly before she pulls away. She doesn't go far though.

"I love you." She says, "And I don't want you to feel like the only reason anyone is gonna pay attention to you or respect you is because of the Mohawk. It might've worked at first, but I'm positive people will like you a hell of a lot more like this."

"You love me?" He says softly

"Yeah." She breathes out, "I'm kind of offended that that's the only thing you got from my pep talk."

Hawk chuckles, "It's not, but it's the only thing that I've wanted to hear."

"Well, you took too long to do it, so I had to. You know what else you've taken forever to do?"

"What's that?"

"Ask me to be your girlfriend, so I guess I'll do it." He watches as she stands up in front of him, "Eli, will you be my boyfriend?"

Hawk smiles, "Yes please."

Sienna chuckles as he stands up. He places his hand on her cheek and leans down to kiss her. She grabs his arm as she kisses him back. They pull away slowly as they hear footsteps coming down the stairs.
