Hawk, Demetri, Bert, Moon, Sienna, and Jamie were at the beach playing volleyball. The girls were watching Hawk and Demetri go back and forth. Demetri threw the ball up and attempted to serve, but failed miserably as the ball hit the net.

"Um..." Demetri mutters as Sienna laughs, "Mulligan, send it back."

"There's no mulligans in volleyball." Hawk says

"Says you. Water break." Demetri says as he walks to the towel. Hawk looks around in confusion. Jamie looks down as a soccer ball rolls by her feet. She bends down to grab it as a boy runs up to her.

"Sorry about that."

Jamie looks over to see a tall boy with dark hair. She smiles, "No worries."

She hands him the ball and he smiles gratefully. "Thanks. I'm Jack." He holds his hand out.

Jamie shakes his hand, "Jamie."

"Nice to meet you. You actually look familiar." He furrows his brows, "I think I saw you at that karate tournament."

"Oh yeah. I'm in Cobra Kai." She gestures to her friends

"Right. You guys won."

"Yeah." She chuckles

"Yeah. My little brother does karate. I didn't even wanna go to that tournament." Jamie nods in agreement, "I remember seeing you though. Never forget a pretty face." He smiles. Jamie chuckles as she looks down.

"Jack! Come on, dude." His friend yells. He looks back at them before turning back to Jamie.

"I'll see you around." Jack says as he points to her

"Yeah." She nods with a smile as he jogs back to his friends. Jamie turns towards Sienna whose jaw is dropped. Jamie laughs as Sienna starts squealing.

Unbeknownst to Jamie, Miguel had arrived a couple of minutes ago and watched the entire interaction.

"Who was that?" He asks.

Hawk shrugs, "I don't know. But what were you saying about Sensei?"

Miguel looks at Jamie who is laughing with Sienna as they talk about Jack.

"So, I did a deep-dive online, and you were right. Sensei is definitely Keene's father." Hawk says as he and Miguel stretch.

"I just don't understand why he wouldn't tell us." Miguel says

"I don't know. But it explains why he's giving us shit for kicking Keene's ass at the tournament. Show no mercy, unless it's his son." He scoffs, "Then we gotta be pussies."

Jamie sits in between them, "What are we talking about?"

Miguel stays quiet as Hawk speaks up without hesitation, "That Keene kid from the tournament is Sensei's son."

"Really?" Hawk nods. Jamie shrugs, "Oh."

"Oh?" Hawk says exasperated as Miguel frowns. Before he can go on, Aisha walks up.

"You guys, have you seen the commercial? Sam's dad started his own dojo and he dissed Cobra Kai."

She hands her phone to Miguel and Jamie leans over to watch. The video showed Daniel promoting his free karate.

"Free karate?" Jamie frowns.

"Wait, why are we paying for karate if this other guy's giving it away for free?" They hear a student say. Miguel sighs as he hands Aisha her phone back.

"There's a lot of talk going around the Valley about free karate. But everyone knows that in life, you get what you pay for." Johnny says as Aisha records him

"You wanna really kick the competition?" He turns to a student and kicks the Bonsai plant in his hands, "Then you need to get your ass over to Cobra Kai. Screw that lame meditation bullshit. What you need is bone-crunching, face- smashing, good ol' American karate. Enough about self-defense. Learn self-offense! Don't be a pussy. Join Cobra Kai, and let me teach you the way of the fist." He finishes as he holds up his fist

"And cut." Aisha smiles

"All right, did we get it?"

"I think so."

"All right, great. Just make sure the Cobra Kai snake comes in at the end, all right? I want it to really pop." He says as he starts walking away. "Make it chrome. And throw Thunderstruck under it."

"I'm pretty sure the rights for that song will cost too much."

"No, I already own it. Cassette's in the car." Jamie chuckles. "Oh. And put one of those hash browns at the end. You know, like, "Hash brown, Team Cobra Kai" or something."

"Hashtag." Jamie says

Johnny ignores her as he walks to the back, "And then send it to the Internet!"

Jamie stood behind Hawk as they waited for their cue to start. The plan was to crash Miyagi-Do's performance at Valley Fest. Jamie really had no interest in this, but was doing it to get it over with.

"Cobra Kai!" Miguel yelled. The group started jogging through the crowd as they chanted Cobra Kai. They made it to the stage and started performing their set.

"Cobras, show them what real karate looks like!" Johnny yelled.

Miguel and Hawk started sparing with students. Miguel was left as the last one standing on stage as the crowd cheered.

Jamie then stood on stage with a blindfold as students held up boards. She broke all of the boards as each student came up. She ended with a roundhouse kick to the last board. The crowd cheered as she took her blindfold off.

Hawk pulled Demetri up from the crowd and gave him a board. He looked around confused as Hawk backed up. He then ran and jumped off a student's hand doing a spin in the air as he landed the kick to the board breaking it.

The crowd cheered louder as the group threw Cobra Kai merchandise into the crowd. Finally, Johnny came up on stage with a stack of cement blocks.

"Cobras, light it up!" Two students come on stage with lighter fluid and a blow torch and light the cement on fire.

Johnny takes a deep breath before punching through the cement. The crowd starts chanting Cobra Kai as everyone stands on stage.

"You did it, Sensei." Miguel says

"No, we did it." Johnny says as he looks out into the crowd. Miguel looks over at Jamie with a smile which she returns.
