"Nevaeh, hurry up." Sienna yells from the living room

"Give me a second." Nevaeh yells back

"I don't have a second. The faster we get to school the faster we leave."

Nevaeh comes down the steps with her backpack in hand, "That doesn't even make any sense."

"You keep talking and you're hitchhiking." Sienna smiles mockingly. Nevaeh rolls her eyes as she follows Sienna out, closing the door behind her.

Sienna dropped Nevaeh off at school before she went to pick Jamie up. She was now in gym class in what she thought was the ugliest gym uniform she's ever seen. She sat in the bleachers as she watched her class play basketball.

The coach blows his whistle, "Okay, let's switch it up. Miranda you're in."

"Not gonna happen, Coach." She says

Her teacher looks at her. She shrugs in response, "Okay. New kid, get in there. We'll get you some gym clothes next week."

"What's wrong Miranda? Too scared you're gonna suck?" A boy says. His friend laughs beside him.

"Shut up, LaRusso." She says narrowing her eyes. Nevaeh and Anthony had never gotten along. Since the fifth grade, they had always been at each other's throats. Nevaeh had a temper that exploded at any second and Anthony loved to watch her explode. It didn't help that the universe seemed to put them in the same classes for the past four years.

"LaRusso, Thompson, you're in too. Let's go! All right. Sub out!" The coach says

Nevaeh watches as the other kids go onto the court. Anthony passes the ball to a boy. The boy crosses him and makes a basket. Someone passes Anthony the ball again. He tries to shoot, but the new kid blocks it causing the ball to hit him in the face.

Nevaeh laughs loudly as Anthony falls to the ground. The new kid looks apologetic as the coach blows his whistle.

"Hey! Break it up! New kid, get the ball!"

Anthony gets up as his friends surround him. The new kid comes up as his friend walks away. Anthony snatches the ball from him before a girl comes up and separates them. Anthony runs off towards the bleachers.

"Looks like you're the one who sucks, LaRusso." Nevaeh yells. He looks up to her with anger written over his features. She smiles back at him before she looks back to the court.

"There's no reason for it." Jamie chuckles as she opens her locker

"Yes, there is. It makes up the entire franchise." Miguel says

She scoffs playfully, "Whatever."

"JJ." Sienna yells as she and Hawk walk up. Jamie smiles as she sets her things in her locker.

"Hey, Sienna." She says as Hawk and Miguel dap each other up

Sienna pulls Jamie away from her locker and turns her to face the boys before wrapping her arm around her shoulder.

"So, when is our first double date?"

Jamie furrows her brows, "Double date?"

"Yes, double date." Sienna says in a duh tone. "It's the whole dynamic of people dating in friend groups."

"I didn't know you and Hawk were dating." Miguel says

"We're not yet, but a double date could turn the entire thing around." Sienna shrugs. Jamie rolls her eyes playfully.

"I'm down."

"Me too." Jamie says

The three of them look to Hawk who had yet to answer, "I don't really have much of a choice."

"Good answer." Miguel smiles with a nod. Jamie goes to grab her books as Sienna looks down the hall. Her eyes light up as Hawk and Miguel frown.

"Jack." She says. Jamie turns around as Sienna smiles wide. Jack comes up to them.

"Hey guys."

"What's up, man?" Hawk says patting him on the shoulder

"Hey." Jamie says. Jack smiles to her.

"I feel like I haven't seen you in forever." Sienna says

"Oh, yeah. Seems like I never have much of a break anymore." He chuckles

"Yeah." Sienna looks around, "Oh, you know Miguel right?"

Jack looks to him, "Yeah. What's up, man?"

"What's up?" Miguel says

Hawk and Jamie grimace at the awkwardness. The silence that falls over them increases the uneasiness.

"Okay, well." Sienna exclaims, "I just can't wait to get to my next class. Jamie aren't you just so excited?"

"Absolutely." Jamie nods as she closes her locker. Sienna smiles as she looks around at the boys.

"Great, let's go JJ." She says as grabs Jamie's arm. The two walk around the boys.

"Wait, Sienna-" Hawk says

"Bye losers." Sienna says not turning back. Jamie turns back and blows a kiss to Miguel before she and Sienna turn the corner.

The boys turn back to each other as they stand around Jamie's locker awkwardly.

"Right, well, uh, we'll see you around dude." Hawk tries

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Jack says scratching the back of his head. He nods before he walks away.

"I'm gonna kill Sienna." Hawk mutters as he and Miguel walk the other way.

Jamie sat at her desk with her notes and textbook out in front of her. With a test coming up, the teacher allowed them to study amongst themselves. Obviously, a couple of students weren't, but that didn't matter to Jamie.

She looks up as someone slams their hands down on her desk. She looks up and sees Priscilla glaring down at her.

"Can I help you?" Jamie chuckles

"I wouldn't be laughing. Seeing as with the tournament coming up, I can very well give you broken ribs again."

"You didn't break my ribs, you broke my wrist, but minor details." Jamie nods

"Whatever." Priscilla says rolling her eyes, "You're gonna get your ass kicked again."

"And what exactly are you going to do?" Jamie says setting her pen down and leaning her elbows on the desk, "Last I checked, you were knocked out at Sam's house."

"Watch your back." She snaps before she walks off. Jamie watches as she sits at her desk still glaring at her. She raises her brows before going back to her notes.
