Gunther says as the crowd cheers, "The Sekai Taikai boasts a rich and proud history. And if you are here, it's because you embody all that the Sekai Taikai stands for. Leadership, respect, sportsmanship. Captains, step forward and tie on your headbands."

Robby looks to Jamie before the two step onto the mat along with the other teams. Jamie adjusts her headband before wrapping it around her head. As Miguel looks to Robby, he can't help the sadness covering his features. The longing of wanting to be the one standing on stage. But as his eyes trailed over to Jamie, he couldn't stop the small smile that took over.

"Captains, you will have the honor and privilege to compete in our televised tournament of champions. But that is only if your dojo does well enough in our team competitions to make it to the final four. Once the tournament is over, we will then tally all the points your dojos have earned. The dojo with the most points wins the Sekai Taikai."

Jamie's eyes linger on Tory as the girl watched Gunther continue to explain. She leans over slightly, "Did you know?"

Robby turns to her, but Jamie's eyes never leave Tory, "No. I swear."

"But today, it's about enjoying our host city and making new friends. Or enemies." Gunther says, "We have a field trip arranged for our competitors. And for our senseis, a cocktail mixer with our distinguished sponsors, some of the world's finest martial arts brands. It's a beautiful day to make a first impression. And I suggest you enjoy it, because tomorrow, your lives change forever. Good luck, and welcome to the Sekai Taikai!"

Jamie claps along with the crowd as they cheer. Her eyes falling down to her feet as Tory finally looks toward them.

"Which room do you guys want?" Robby says walking over with the key cards

"Uh, I'll... I'll... I'll go with you." Demetri stammers taking the card from him

Miguel frowns, "Really? I figured Robby and I would-"

"No. I'll bunk with El Serpiente." Hawk says, "Besides, you fart in your sleep."

"Erroneous. And he who observed it served it, by the way." Demetri says

"Whoever said the rhyme did the crime."

"You just rhymed."

"You said the rhyme first."

"Okay, but you also rhymed."

"Okay, but..."

"Thank God we aren't boys." Devon chuckles to Sam

"So hypocritical! What are you talking about?" Hawk exclaims

Jamie sighs as she looks down at her phone. Sienna looking over as Jamie looks toward the entrance again. Sienna bumps her shoulder, "You okay?"

Jamie turns to her, "Yeah. My mom just said that she had to talk to me when she got back. She has me freaked out now."

"I'm sure it's fine." Sienna reassures, "If it were serious, she would've called or something."

"Yeah." Jamie mutters turning to the entrance again. Her face dropping as the Cobra Kai students walk in.

"Whoa. So you're the famous Miyagi-Do." Kwon says, "We have heard about you, but I do not know why. You do not look like much."

Hawk steps up, "Yeah? You'll see better when you step on the mat."

"Come on, guys." Robby says placing his hand on Hawk's shoulder, "It's not worth it."

"Robby's right. Forget about them, okay?" Miguel says, "They're just any other dojo here."

As they turn away, Jamie's eyes follow Tory as she rushes by. Robby follows her, "Tory. Hey, wait."

Kwon bumps into Hawk as the team passes them. Demetri jumping back as Kwon flinches at him. The team watching as Robby stands alone. Hawk speaks up, "Should we be worried about him?"

"No. Robby's gonna be fine." Miguel says

"I wouldn't be fine." Demetri says. The team turns to him as Jamie lets out a sigh, "What?"

"Jamie!"

The girl turns along with her friends. Her eyes falling on her mom, but her heart dropping as she looks behind her.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Jamie mutters

"Who is that?" Hawk asks

"My dad." She says as her mom continues walking over, "And his wife."

"Oh shit." Hawk says. Jumping as Sienna punches his arm.

Jamie turns to Miguel, "I'll be right back."

"Yeah." He nods before she walks over to her mom. Miguel turning to the others with a nervous expression.

"She'll be fine." Hawk nods

"Will she?" Demetri says. His friends turn to him again making him hold his hands up in surrender, "What?"

"I really need you to stop talking." Sienna says

Jamie takes a deep breath as she stops in front of them. Her expression stoic as she eyes her dad before looking over to her mom. Amber claps her hands together, "Jamie, I know this is probably the last thing that you expected, but your dad and Brittany really wanted to see you compete."

"I mean, they are broadcasting it on TV, so.." Jamie trails off

"It's not the same as being here." James says, "We came to support you."

Jamie raises her brows, "Right."

"Jamie, you could be a bit happier about it." Amber says, "They came all the way here for you."

"Not to be rude, Mom, but I didn't ask them to be here." Jamie says, "The last time they saw me, he told me that the dreams that I've had since I was little meant nothing more than me wanting to be around a boy. So, sorry, if I'm not ecstatic to see them."

"Jamie." James says stepping forward, "We're a family. I'm your father. We came to support you. Whether you're happy with me or not, I deserve some respect."

Jamie chuckles lightly, "Right. Well, I hope you guys enjoy your time in Barcelona."

Before he could respond, Jamie turns away. The three watch as Miguel immediately wraps his arm around her shoulder. The team walking off together.
