Jaemin

The boy heard a distant groan of agony.
Though it was a mere sound from afar, Jaemin heard it as if it was projected into his ears.

Goosebumps started dancing all over his body. His head spun around, mind a whirling mess.

"JINRIN!" Jaemin heard one of his friends called out, followed by loud thudding of footsteps, like a herd of elephants stomping.

"Jaemin! Let's go, come on! Why are you standing here? You should be beating her darn ass up right now!" Haechan groaned in frustration, clearly annoyed at the indifferent Jaemin and his usual antics.

"Never mind about that first, we need to go to JinRin! " Haechan yelled out incessantly at the nonchalant boy who seemingly did not look like he was affected by anything of this at all.

"Yo Jaemin are you sane?"

"You're girl is hurt and your still standing here?"
Haechan eyed him weirdly whilst the older boy pulled Jaemin alongside him, shoving him towards the crowd of his friends— who had now formed around the bleeding girl.

Only if they knew what was going on in Jaemin's mind. No it wasn't that exaggerated meme of the dog dancing and rocking to hip hop.

His brain was literally on fire. His worst mental breakdown yet.

The abjectly experience he once had was currently mirroring against him. The anxiety he has been trying to hide from his closest friends seemed to be betraying him as he felt the raw feeling of it creepily crawling up his body.

"I—"

The boy finally lost his cool as he took a better look at the girl in front of him, breathing quickened as his eyes darted across her pale skin and dry lips.

Her eyes were partly closed and her hands were clutched painfully where the knife stabbed her.

Jaemin dropped down on both his knees, and dramatically grabbed both of JinRin's hands, shaking them gently whilst chanting prayers in his mind.

"You Pabo yah... why did you do that?" The boy whispered in her ears.

His knees were now stained with her blood. The girl who sacrificed her life.

The girl who he love.

JinRin sniffled a painful smile as she gently patted Jaemin on his lap, before returning to her peaceful slumber, or otherwise to put it plainly, she fainted unconscious.

Everyone panicked and instead of having a maniac ruining everything, the scene became a zoo expedition in a matter of seconds.

Jisung had already dialed for help right when it happened. Mark, being helpful for once, tried his best to attend to JinRin's wound, applying pressure onto the wound to stop the crimson red from oozing out.

He tied a tourniquet around her waist in an attempt as well, but it was too much pain for JinRin to handle.

Now all they could do is wait for the precious time to tick by...

But before that, you think Sewon will be forgotten?

" KANG SEWON YOU STOP RIGHT THERE" Mrs Kang's voice bellowed demandingly, with so much power and authority.

This time, the voice wasn't from Jeno's phone, it was a call from outside of the gates.

"WHERE ARE YOU COME OUT NOW"

The ground echoed after her, sending a wave of vibration like in the situation of an earthquake.

Mrs Kang stomped and rushed into the field, commanding the stiff guards to bring a coach for JinRin to properly lie on.

The guards had no choice but to follow the head master of the house— Mrs Kang, not her daughter.

Seeing this scene, Sewon screamed a piercing sound— yes, the high pitch note that sounded even high than a whistle note. Her palms covered her laugh.

Her eyes were blood-shot and was circling continuously the group of friends like an eagle ready to find the perfect moment or be unleash and catch its prey.
That was until a larger bird interferes with the cycle and obstruct the eagle.

Her mother not only gave her a strict dressing down, but also slapped the living hell out of JinRin.
Guess they would finally be able to have a father and kid's mother
"Someone bring her to the hospital too" Renjun groaned out.

"The doctors would say she's incurable" Haechan continued on with the jokes which earned a painful smack from Jeno.

"Stop with the jokes, we need to focus and protect JinRin"

"That was the point of the joke.. to lighten the sinking mood"

"No point"

"Fine mood killer 101" Haechan whined out.

Sewon's face was priceless and unexplainable.
As they in a way, twisted her already twisted plans.

Sewon ideally was supposed to be with her mother and this entire plan A ends right there.

But there was when things started to unravel and go downhill. Sewon had in fact lured us into her trap and now we were like puppets under her control.

In Sewon's game however, she failed to expect the pleasant arrival of Chaewon, who had appeared before all her other enemies did.

She was planning on using her guards against the group of friends or maybe her threatening skills cna be put in play as well.

After Chaewon appeared, things started to seem like it was made for Sewon. Everything was going as planned or even better as the girl saw the arrival of the two oddly familiar speeding cars.

That's when plan B for the team began discretely.

"Jeno wait—" the girl stopped the boy in his tracks as he nervously turned to look at the seemingly calm girl.

"Look— I'm sorry about everything and the previous time I'm-"

"No— it's not that, now isn't the time for touching apologies"

"I have something precious on me or well- I could perhaps call it plan B"

Jeno only returned the girl with a confused and stunned look.

She approached him out of all the others?
They were not close at all, despite Jeno being Jaemin's partner in crime.. like right now.

"Why me?"

"Why not you?" Ji Geon replied, eyeing his response.

And Jeno had no where else but to accept the somewhat spy tasks he is doing.

"Only call when you feel like it's time"

"I have a very bad feeling tinkling up my spine right now.. I don't like this at all" Ji Geon complained silently, fumbling with her fingers.

And that was how plan B came along.

And it luckily by the luck of all the gods, worked out well... but everything comes with a cost and this time it's was a casualty— the girl who wasn't even involved in this drama or whatever you want to call it.
