"Any ideas on how to get out of here?" Navine asked. 

Centipede goop held them in place. It may be soft but is one of the strongest materials in the word. It's stronger than spider's silk. 

"I can't burn these cuffs." Fendron said. 

"This goop is strong." Macko said pulling. 

He pulled his arms, but the goop was too strong. It pulled him back. 

"Why would calamity join them?" Ila asked.

"It would seem he doesn't have a choice." Old Jara said. 

"Did anyone else notice the helmet he was wearing?" Keka asked.

"Yeah, why was it glowing green?" Navine said. 

"So were his eyes. The helmet is controlling him!" Ila yelled. 

"So, if we take the helmet off, he won't be controlled anymore." Fendron said. 

"Shh. I hear someone coming." Ila said.

Silence fell. I walked in behind Queen Yinora. They look so helpless.

"Good morning." She smiled. 

"It's not a good morning," Keka muttered.

"Silence. Who's ready for their first day of experimentation?" Yinora asked. 

"Not me." Old Jara said. 

"What are you planning to do to us?" Navine said. 

"Calamity, if you will..." Queen Yinora said. 

I nod. I pulled a lever. Electricity started coursing through their veins. They screamed.

"Was that experimentation?" Ila asked. 

"No that was more torture. The experimenting is soon to begin." Yinora said pulling out tools.
