"The gate had been completely over run by wasps and other insects. Thousands of reptiles were dying faster than flies. Even though they were outnumbered 2 to 1, they still fought bravely. They weren't about to give up. They used every last thing they had as a weapon. They used sticks, stones, even bug jars and toilet paper." Old Jara told.
The three orphaned kids laughed. They were the last descendants of the great Horned Lizard Warriors: The Kakoria warriors. They were like my little sisters and brother. Me and Old Jara raise them sometimes, though I do the cooking. The first was Lilla the oldest her eyes were blue. The second was Amber whose eye's were... amber. The youngest was Pebbles, he had brownish eyes. They lived with us on the second level of Old Jara's house. I mostly watch over them.
"Then, out of nowhere came the Kakoria. There were thousands of horned lizards each one with a specific talent. They can control elements. Wind, water, fire, and earth. They bended the elements and were able to drive of the mighty force of insects." Old Jara told.
We all clapped I've heard this story a thousand times, but it's always good.
"Were the Kakoria that heroic?" Amber asked.
"Oh yes. They were more heroic than Calamity." Old Jara said.
"I am not a hero." I said.
"Yes you are. You have a big heart and you control water." Pebbles said.
"I can control water, but I don't know if I have a big heart." I said.
"Oooh. Sing your song!" All three of them yelled.
I smiled. I guess I don't have a choice. I dinged my pitchfork on the wall. It glowed.
"I made you cry." I sang.
The water from a bucket rose up, like a wave. The wave it Old Jara and he fell of his chair.
"Argh. Calamity!" Old Jara yelled.
"Oops sorry." I laughed.
"I'm leaving now to do some chores. Calamity you're in charge. No singing the song in my house." Old Jara said leaving.
"Okee-dokey." I said.
