What a mood spoiler, the first class of 4th year is Transfiguration. Thus, I have to deal with Mongrel on the morning of monday. How exhausting. "Dude, I can't believe we're in our 4th year already. We're gonna have O.W.L.s next year " Hugo said.

"It's not like I'm gonna pass" Val said, letting out a sigh and stuffing some chicken in his mouth. "I think it's time we get a little serious Valentino" Jared said, patting Val's head. "You're smart but I just can't bring myself to sit down and learn and even if I do that nothing gets on my empty bone head" Val replied in an exhausted voice.

"I can't believe none of us have a girlfriend" Lorcan said out of the blue. I choked on my orange juice and started coughing. "Lysander you seem awfully suspicious, do you have anyone?" Val asked, smiling , coming awfully close to me as I pulled away from him. "No, I just couldn't process the dramatic topic change from O.W.L.s to being in a relationship" I told them.

"No seriously though, let's be honest all of us are pretty good looking right?" Lorcan asked. "We're not good enough" Hugo said. "Exactly girls want people like Asher and Leo. You know the popular guys who are good at everything and look like they are straight out of a movie" Val said backing Hugo up.

"I'm better than them in every single way" I said confidently. I mean seriously, the only thing I lack is the interest in wanting to be popular. "You have Jennie bro" Jared said laughing. I just chose to ignore it.

"Hey" said a voice behind me. I turned back and saw Asher along with Leo and Keanu. They are known as the 'The big three'. The top 3 most popular guys in our year basically are jerks. They would do anything to keep their celebrity status flying up high. It's best to avoid them and not get tangled up with their drama.

"You gotta be away from them, they spell out drama" Jared said concerned. "Be right back" Val said As he got up in a sudden and dramatic way and walked towards Asher's table. "YOU! IT'S ALL CAUSE OF YOU" he said dramatically. "What?" Asher asked. "I know you're the one who spread the rumor about me and that Hufflepuff girl last year" he said angrily, clashing the plates on the table.

The rumor was basically about Val making out with a Hufflepuff girl which never happened cause the day he was accused of doing that, he was sleeping in the library and I was with him reading about dark arts.

"I don't want you messing around with me" Val said dramatically. "Uh, ok. I didn't even do anything bro" he said, acting all confused and innocent. Oh gosh my hate for this guy keeps increasing every second.

"Val just come" Jared said as he dragged him away from Asher's table. "It's a pity that he doesn't have anything better to do than pick fights" I said a little louder than usual, I hope all his fangirls heard that clearly. I love adding fuel to the fire.

Later, me and the boys started walking towards the Transfiguration classroom and Asher approached me. "Who do you think you are?" He asked me. "I think I'm Lysander but I really hope I am not him, but the chances are thin" I told him. The boys were so close to laughing their asses off.

He came for my collar but I moved away. "Don't touch me, I don't like it" I informed him. "Enough having this silent war. If we don't reach Mongrel's class 5 minutes early we might lose points" Jared said.

"Look Larrson, If you wanna have a fight let's have one" Lorcan said charging towards Asher with his hands in a fist. "Are we having our first fight!? OH MY GOD I ALWAYS WANTED THIS DAY TO COME!" Val said getting all worked up and excited.

"No one's fighting" Hugo said pulling Lorcan back. "I'm ready" I said calling for the war. Then I realized that I would end up killing everyone and I said, "Ok I take that back I don't want any casualties" truthfully.

"That's it" Keanu said, pushing back his long brown wavy hair as he went to grab Lorcan's hair as Asher pushed Leo back. "Keanu! Stop picking fights with losers, It's a disgrace having such people as enemies. They don't get the privilege of being our enemies" he said in a slick way and walked away as Keanu followed him. I bet they got their stupid celebrity status back after I crushed them previously.

"Jerks", Jared muttered furiously. Is Jared angry? It's going to rain, oh my god! YOU KNOW IT'S GONNA HELL'S GONE LOOSE WHEN JARED IS ANGRY.

"They would kill to be popular" Val said angrily. "We're late, shit. Mongrel's gonna lock us out of class" Hugo said looking at his watch. "At least we won't be the only ones late" Lorcan said, giving a cruel smile looking at Asher. "Keanu and Asher are Slytherin. We have class with Ravenclaw" I said.

"Shit we screwed up" Lorcan said.

Transfiguration class had ended and it was wonderful! The reason is simple. Mongrel didn't show up. Apparently, she's sick so we had a free period.

I guess the rest of the day was pretty good too, nothing serious happened maybe except for Val flirting with Diana with his questionable pickup lines. Like seriously, I'll give you an example 'Do you have a map? Cause I got lost in your eyes'. That's so bad.

Now it was library time. I walked through the magnificent scarlet door of the library. Right after classes there were less people in the library so it's the perfect time to read. I went and picked up a few books and sat on the oak wood table and started reading.

Then I heard a stack of books fall. I turned to see Potter surrounded by books scattered all around her. I couldn't help but giggle. I went near her and asked, "Too many books? Want help?"

"Oh wow, since when did you offer help?" Lily asked as she got up and picked up her books. "Oh, I was just asking. I'm not gonna help you. Good luck" I said as I walked back to my table. "Want help?" Said a calm voice behind me. I turned and saw Asher with a warm smile as he helped Lily pick up her books.

"Thanks" Lily said as she stacked the books and carried them. "Want me to carry some?" Asher asked. "I'm not weak!" She squeaked as she came to my table. OI! WHY DID SHE JOIN ME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. "You can't sit here" I told her. "Is your name written here?" She said as she placed her book and sat opposite to me.

"Don't annoy me" I informed her as I saw Asher give me a stink eye. "Can I join you both? I'll act like I don't exist" he asked, giving a convincing innocent smile. "Sure" I said, giving a celebrity smile. I had something planned already. Haha.

After some silence I muttered, "Hey Potts, don't you think Larrson is hitting on you too hard?" I tried so hard not to laugh. I saw Asher's face go all pink. Lily gave me a kick on my leg. "Scamandy", she muttered furiously.

"What Potts? It's not like he's here anymore is he?" I said. "I am here if you can't see my presence'' Asher said. "I thought we agreed you didn't exist when you requested to sit with us" I said in a witty way. This was so fun.

"I'm leaving, I have places to be" he said as he took some books and walked away, rushed. I started giggling as soon as he left. "What's your problem?" She said angrily, pulling my book. "Ehhh, don't tell me you like him" I said uninterested, floating in the happiness that I had pissed him off.

"I mean he is cute, hot and smart" Lily said daydreaming. "Snap out of it" I said disgusted by the look on her face. "Are you jealous that I like him?" Lily asked smiling as she pulled my book down to see my face. "Stop!" I said furiously. Jealous? Of an idiot like Asher? The only person I should be jealous of is someone better than me. He's clearly a lost case.

"Asher is so kind and understanding unlike you. All you do is complain and talk about the negative things" Lily said. "He fakes his personality" I said. "See? You can only see negative things" Lily said, arguing. "Let's use a better word and call it reality" I shot back.

"What's your problem. I'll like who I want" Lily said, getting worked up. "Yeah so? When did I say I'm better than him and you should choose me over him? I'm just stating facts, you're the one making a big deal out of it" I said nonchalantly as I turned to the next page of the book.

"You're so- Unbelievable. This is why no one likes you! You fake your personality too. Acting like some kind of quiet, smart and cute guy who sits in the corner of the class" Lily said getting up and taking all her books.

"Wow you're leaving, It's a win for me" I said as I leaned back on the chair. "You're no different than Asher you know? He's way more polite and good looking than you, that's the only difference. I can't believe that I actually like you" she said and silence, just pin drop silence.

"That's new" I said, trying to stay calm. Oh my god she liked me again? How did I miss that? Its not like I care, I don't like her back anyways. "I thought you changed'' she said tearfully. Is she gonna cry? Yeah, definitely.

"You're delusional then" I said hurtfully. She took her tooks and started walking. Then she slipped and fell down again. "Want me to help?" I asked her jokingly with a smile. She took one of the books on the floor and threw it at me. She picked up the rest of the books and ran out sobbing.

I rejected her before she even asked.
