"We're already 5 minutes late! LORCAN QUICK!" I said to my dear little brother. First class was transfiguration with the Hufflepuffs and rest of my roomies had already left. "QUICK!" I said as Lorcan grabbed his book and me and him ran across the stairways pushing some first years and finally reaching the class room. 

"Well good morning Scamanders, had a good nights sleep?" Professor Genieve Mongrel barked at us. "Well, it was too good but that's was a problem I guess" Lorcan said and the class cracked up. "Get in" she said. Wow, was she in a good mood or then me and Lorcan would have got a week worth of detention for the joke and coming late.

There were two seats one next to Zayn and the other one next to Jennie. Oh no. I can tolerate Zayn's unhygienic habits but I can't handle miss talky talky. This is probably the first time and last time someone is gonna fight over sitting with Zayn. Me and Lorcan sprinted to get the seat next to Zayn and I sat on the bench. YES! But then Lorcan sat on my lap and we both were struggle as I tried to push Lorcan and Lorcan tried to push me. 

"What are you both doing?" Professor asked and the whole class was laughing at the scene. "Lorcan stop being childish! This is my seat. I already sat, are you blind can't you see" I whispered to him. "It's mine!" he said and tried pushing me. "I shan't give up my seat" I said furiously pushing Lorcan away. 

"BOTH OF YOU STAND UP!" Professor said. We both stood up and looked at each other. "I don't care about your personal brother fights or anything, you blondie sit next to the girl, the other one sit next to this boy" she said.

Of course what did I expect? I will never get what I want no matter what. I went and sat next to Jennie. "Quite a scene" she whispered to me giggling. I ignored it. Then Val who was sitting behind me kicked the back of my chair and I turned around. 

"You and Lorcan make an amazing entertainment duo" he said laughing. "ANDERSON! EXPLAIN THE TOPIC WE WERE REVISING! EXAMS ARE NEXT WEEK STOP JOKING AROUND" she said. Jokes on you Val.

"Hey Lysander. Can I call you Ly? or Sander?" Jennie asked me. "Call me whatever you want I'm not gonna talk to you anyways" I told her. "Look we're talking Ly!" she said smiling. "Professor, she's asking me for which is Jared's owl (kinda like the phone number of the wizarding world)" I lied. There were some giggles.

"Ms. Emberly, please focus on your studies your grades tell me you need to focus more" Professor said and continued, "Personal relationships and secondary for kids your age" she finished.

"You little liar" she said angrily and embarrassed. She didn't talk to me for the whole period. YES! SUCCESSFUL! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

The class got over peacefully. The bell rang and everyone walked out bustling and chatting. "DUDE YOU'RE SAVAGE" Val said all excited. "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BRING ME IN!" Jared said flustering "You know it was so embarrassing at everyone was looking at me" he completed. "I couldn't think of a better person plus you're low-key than anyone in our gang" I said.

"Hehe" Lorcan said and I went to pull his hair he ran so I chased him. We ran a lot. When I say a lot. Its a lot. Probably Lorcan's sprinting practice for the upcoming Quidditch match was done with the amount of times we ran around.

Hugo came slowly walking in his morning blues, "Hey guys" he said sleepily. "You ok?" Jared asked. "I think I'm gonna take a day off, I think a flu just hit me" he said. "Just don't give your flu to me" Val said social distancing. "My immune system is more terrible than my grades" he said.

Jennie then came to me and asked me, "Why did you lie?" 

"Cause I don't want you to talk to me, you're annoying" I said hurtfully. Sorry girl, but the truth its a very painful thing. "Then do you want me to write to you???" she asked. This girl can't be serious she's getting on my nerves now. I turned back to the boys and said, "Help, we need to murder her by today and dispose her body so no one can never find it".

She eventually left because I didn't give her an answer. Well the clock struck 12:00pm. Lunch time! The corridors were flooded with students and we all went to take a seat and eat lunch. I took the newspaper on the table and started reading. 

"Lily Luna Potter spotted with a Ravenclaw boy at Hogsmeade" I read out aloud. "She made it to headlines?" Hugo asked. "Dude we got kicked out we're the ones who should make it to headlines" Val said and added, "Getting kicked out is way cooler".

"The world only likes gossips" Lorcan said. "Hugo, I remember reading so much things about Rose on the news when she joined Hogwarts, they literally wrote nothing about you till now, why is that?" I asked.

 "I guess I don't live up to the name of my legendary parents and I'm too ordinary" he said sadly. "Trust me its a good thing, the media is very dangerous the more far away the better" Jared said trying to make him feel better.

"Imagine being a pick-me and wanting to end up in the headlines, utter nonsense" I said displeased with Hugo wanting to be famous. "You don't have to be rude, it could be a pressure on him cause his family is famous" Jared said frowning. 

"Its just nice you know when your popularity is so high up and everyone is nice to you" Hugo said. "That's the side the world sees, the side they don't show, the dark side is ugly one" I said. 

"Yeah they're gonna troll you and bully you on the paper if you do the slightest mistake, they expect you to be perfect" Lorcan said. "You guys really know a lot about the media" Jared said. "The muggle media is way more terrible, especially the paparazzis" Val said. "I agree Val" I replied.

Then there was a tap on my back. It was Jennie oh no this girl. She handed me a letter and ran away. "I request one of you to burn this, let it be a kind of a practical revision" I said. "Incendio!" Jared said and the letter burnt to ashes. "Yes!" Jared said happily.

"Well exams are coming up" Hugo initiated the conversation. "I think its going to be fine this time" Jared said. "Val and Me are done, I don't think we did anything and we have too much pending assignments" Lorcan said. 

"I STAYED UP ALL NIGHT AND FINISHED THEM THE DAY BEFORE!" Val screamed. "WHAT? THEN WHO'LL GET IN TROUBLE WITH ME? I CAN'T BE ALONE" Lorcan said. What a loser, he should think about completing them. rather than making a group of people who didn't complete it and begging for more time.

"I'm pretty sure you have Zayn" Val said. "I just realised, what happened to Leo and Tiffany, they're awfully quite these days" Hugo asked. "Well I guess they're busy with their own pick-me gang" I said. "Its been a while sinceI spoke with Roxy too" Hugo said. "Roxanne Weasley right?" Jared asked. "Yeah" Hugo replied blandly.

"EXAMS! URGH!" Lorcan said exhaustingly, "I think I have to pull a few nights" he said exhaustingly. "Don't call me, I need at least 8 hours of sleep or I might sleep in class" I said immediately cause I knew he would ask me to stay up with him.

"I'll be awake" Val said. "I'll help if you need" Jared added. "I need to study too" Hugo said. Why am I the only one who is actually sincere. Well Jared is, but he's like helping and motivation and stuff but I'm not like that.

"Hey! Been long" Novah approached us tapping Jared's back. "Oh hey" Hugo said. "We're thinking about having some night study sessions. Wanna join?" Lorcan asked. "Sure, can I call Zayn too" he replied. "Sure" Lorcan said smiling.

Of course if all of my roomies were going to have a night study sesh, or that's what they planned. I was 101% sure they would call it off after the exhausting day and sleep. 

Well and I was right. By ten they were all in deep sleep in their beds. I was the only one awake reading, 'It' by Stephan King. It was a haunted storybook. Oh shi- I think I saw a shadow of a balloon. I went under my blanket and started reading. I felt a pull in my leg, I freaked out and immediately threw down my bed sheet. There was nothing. Why am I hallucinating things? 

Then I saw next to me Jared was missing. I peeked under my bed. 

"Hey"

I jumped. It was Jared. "Idiot" I said. "I just realised I lost a sock and I remembered where it was, if I left it for the morning I would have probably forgotten and I must have been crazy so I just wanted to keep it in its place" he explained.

"What about your study sesh?" Jared said. "I knew it wouldn't happen anyways" he said and lied down. 

"Good Night" he said. I gave him a creepy smile and said 

"Sweet Nightmares"
