ᴇᴠᴇʀʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ɪ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ɪꜱ ᴍɪʟᴇꜱ ᴀᴡᴀʏ ɪɴ ᴀ ꜱɴᴏᴡ-ᴄᴏᴠᴇʀᴇᴅ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ ᴛᴏᴡɴ

The chill end of November air blew across my golden hair strands. The whether was cold half-yearly exams were coming up and the whether was getting colder and beautiful. For the record winter is my favourite season. 

The lakes were all frozen up perfect for ice-skating. Everyone were wearing sweaters and woollen clothes. Finally after a long time of planning and expectation the day to go to Hogsmeade had finally arrived.

My roomies and I decided to go together this time and everyone was gladly free. 

As for others, Scorpius and Albus were banned so they couldn't go and eventually Scorpius convinced Lily not to tell Rose about the whole stalking incidence and Scorpius just decided to go ahead with his instincts on what Rose would like.

He planned the whole thing from top to bottom in rather a lavishing manner, yes even I was surprised but of course our hero chickened out at the last moment and screwed up. He didn't ask Rose on the date.

The whole planning of hanging LEDs in the trees, cooking her favourite dishes by himself, the candle light dinner near the lake all alone in a nice cozy spot with soft breeze were all WASTED.

Everyone knew this would happen. It wasn't even surprising. I must say though his efforts brought Lily to actually help Scorpius with the whole Rose issue so, I guess its kind of a win too.

As for Lily, she is dating this senior Ravenclaw named Blake Davis and she's going out with him to Hogsmeade. Tiffany and the most popular kid in my year, Alexander Maxwell from Slytherin are dating and Leo is with I think Mavis Lawson from Hufflepuff. Rest all of us are just going out are friends.

"AHH!!!! I CAN'T WAITTTTT!!! I WANT TO GO NOW!" Val was screaming like a little child. "Pack the ice skating shoes we don't want to accidentally leave them here" Jared reminded everyone. Jared is such a mommy.

"I just want to go to Zonkos and Honeydukes" Lorcan said. "Lunch at the three broomsticks seem fine right?" Val asked. The whole dorm was bustling. "Its a shame none of us got a date" Hugo said.

"No its not, friends are better anyways, girls are disgusting and picky" Val said. Val you finally make sense, I love you Val, I thought in my head.

"Well leave that guys, first we need to get to the great hall" Jared said. "We better get going, registration ends in half an hour" Lorcan said. We all walked to the great hall where the teachers were checking the attendance and making note of who all were going and who all were staying back.

"Hey" I heard a voice behind me. The whole gang jumped and turned to see who it was. It was that talky talky Hufflepuff girl, Jennie. "Jennie right?" Lorcan said smiling and gave her a hug. "Hi, Lysander" she said smiling at me. I rudely turned away and Jared came to my ears and asked, "Who is she?"

"She's been bothering me for a long time now" I whispered back. "Have fun" Jennie said and walked away. "Sure, thanks" Val and Lorcan said politely. "Argh. Why am I stuck with a bunch of gentlemen, can't any of you act like a delinquent and chase that idiot away" I said. 

"What's a delinquent?" Val's stupidity asked me. "Its kind of like a rule breaking rebel" Jared said. "More like a criminal beating up people" I said.

"Well why don't you talk to her instead of just just standing there and watching" Hugo asked me. "I would love to be a delinquent but then everyone would love me and I don't want everyone to love me" I said with swag. "Eh? You a delinquent, only in my dreams" Lorcan said.

We eventually started walking towards Hogsmeade on the snowy cobblestone pathway. "What's with you and that girl anyways" Jared asked. "She seems attracted to me for some reason. I can assure you its not for my rotten personality" I said when I was thinking of whether I should order a milkshake or apple juice when we go to three broomsticks.

It was short journey only a nice brisk walk. Excitement was filling the air every mile closer. Trees were running behind and the sun chased us. Clouds took their dear sweet time in moving to form funny shapes.

We eventually got closer and could see the bustling town of Hogsmeade. "We're here!" Val said jumping. Hugo and Lorcan were gossiping. I know even I wonder what is so interesting that they have been talking about that for like half an hour.

We stepped our foot on Hogsmeade for the first time. "Oh my god!!!" Val said excited. This time snowfall came early, the ground was already topped with white and fluffy snow. "Jared!" Lorcan called out and threw some snow on him. 

"HEY!" he said and grabbed some snow and threw it on Lorcan. Hugo in the other hand had already been half buried by Val in the snow and I just stood in the middle of all that, acting like I'm a dad who took his kids on a vacation.

"Guys lets get to the village, I'm pretty sure there is more things to explore there" I said as I saw Lorcan just rubbing snow on Jared's face and almost killing him. To be honest at this point I got used to us, trying to kill each other by beating up or choking ourselves and throwing each other around.

After a while, finally we had started to walk towards the village. The discussion currently going on was what all we were going to buy in Hogsmeade. I must say the one with the longest list was of course Val. Next was Lorcan, Hugo had a few in mind, me and Jared didn't have really any plans, if we saw something useful or appetising we were gonna buy it.

We had finally entered the village, it was so beautiful filled with old buildings and nice lighting. Shops were bustling with student already and Honeydukes had a line all the way to the start of the village.

"Let's go to Honeydukes once the crowd clears" Jared suggested. Well he didn't even need to say that cause the other three had already ran to Zonkos Joke shop to get their essentials. I don't think me and Jared were the type of people to waste money on unnecessary things. 

While the boys kept trying every single sample and product me and Jared were just talking about the stupid defence against the dark arts professor, to be exact mocking him. 

No one really liked that guy. He was worse than the students. He gives us so many free-periods and then towards the end, when exams are approaching he gives us 3 essays per day and he teaches 2 chapters in an hour and trust me students love this guy but equally hate him during the last few weeks before exam. I swear to god, Professor John Barlow is more lazier than the students.

We wrote a test like in September and its already November but he still hasn't given the papers yet. But majority of the students find it a good thing and thinks its best if he keeps the trash they wrote with him itself. I mean can't blame them can I? If they are not as smart as me I can't do anything. Plus I'm going to get full marks anyways so it doesn't matter.

"We're done!" they said coming with a whole big bag of things. "Why'd you even need so much?" Jared asked. "Its crucial for people like us, we're not nerds like you" Lorcan said and Val started laughing and snorting. 

"I'm hungry we should get something to eat" Hugo said. "THREE BROOMSTICKS IT IS!" Lorcan said. Lorcan and Val were racing to Three broomsticks. I don't understand how some people just have an everlasting energy bar. Mine is always at like zero, I don't know how to charge it. The only thing I do like charging is my ego. 

The Three Broomsticks was crowded with both public and students. "There's a table there" Val said and went and spread his things before anyone else occupies the table. "Smart move" Lorcan said. My mind told me that it was more of an undignified move.

"Well so- hmm..."Lorcan said looking at the menu.  I took a glance at the menu there was no chocolate milkshake what a shame. But there was something called 'Mudpie shake', it probably had chocolate so I was already ready with my order. I didn't want any main course or starters cause I didn't feel like eating anything right now.

"Butterbeer!" Lorcan exclaimed. "Its a classic we should try it!" Jared added. "Wait is it alcoholic?" Val asked innocently. "Slightly I think" Hugo said. "THAT'S SO COOL I DEFINITELY WANNA TRY" Val said. I don't understand what's cool in drinking alcohol, it bad for your health and you definitely don't want to become an addict, it just causes misery.

 Note, Kids don't do alcohol or drugs. It's not fun its disgusting, mostly. But butter beer is fine, its just slightly alcoholic but no way I'm getting a butterbeer.

We eventually ordered and I was the only one who didn't order a butterbeer. "Lysander, you're such a good boy even I can't stand it" Jared said. We were drinking and eating our food. I stole from chips from Lorcan's meal hehe.

"Guess who?" someone said covering my eyes from behind in a very funny deep voice. "I know I owe you a drink Potter you don't need to remind me I have better memory than you" I said as she uncovered my eyes. "You're too good" Lily said. I handed her a galleon and told her to buy anything she wanted.

"Ly, how does it feel to have two girls running after you" Val asked over-dramatically. "Lily doesn't like him" Hugo said frowning. "Hugo being the over-protective cousin as usual" Lorcan said. "I wish I had cousins like that, all of mine are way above my level so they don't give a damn about me" Jared said.  "Firstly, I bought her a drink cause she noticed my piercing first and gave a better reaction than all of you" I said in slick manner.

"She actually cared about the drink over spending 5 minutes more with Davies, that one stupid drink that you promised and would have been forgotten if that person was just someone walking by in your life" Val said seriously.

"She's kinda like a sister to me" I said. "DID YOU JUST SISTER ZONE LILY?" Lorcan asked me with heavy expressions. "Can you just stop guys?" Jared said defending me. Then I saw Diana Summers sitting in the next table, time to do what you do best Lysander! I'll use her, 'don't talk about me' rule as an advantage!

"Why don't we talk about YOU and DIANA SUMMERS, VAL" I said.

 "THAT'S FAKE NEWS" Val said getting worked up. "Did I just hear MY NAME" Diana said crashing into our table. I could see her fury. She never likes when other people mention her name in their conversations.

"Oh that- " I started and quickly said, "Valentino likes-" and my mouth got shut my Val's tiny hands. "I just wanted to say I like fish sauce" he said. "Fish sauce? Ok why do I care whether you like fish sauce or not? Firstly fish sauce is disgusting" she said and gave a disgusted face and continued, "Keep my name outta your conversations" she said as Michelle came and dragged her away muttering, "Don't cause problems Diana" in a soft tone.

"Why'd you say fish sauce out of everything in the whole entire universe?" Hugo asked. "I don't know! I was in a rush I couldn't think, now she thinks I'm disgusting and I'm also allergic to seafood. What the hell was I even thinking?" he said exhausted and disappointed. 

"So you care about what she thinks about you, so does that mean you-" Lorcan was saying when Val had finally lost it. "I'm done with you" Val said.

"We're waiting for a reply Valentino" I said smiling softly in a foxy way. "SCREW YOU!" he said and took the his chair and was ready to beat us up with it. "I'll literally murder all of you and go to Azkaban right now" he said furiously and red.

"DUDE CHILL THEY'RE GONNA KICK US OUT" Jared said. Well after that quite an event took place, with no surprise we got kicked out by the owner. 

"I can't believe we got kicked out" Hugo said. "I can't believe they didn't kick us out sooner, they only kicked us out after Val accidentally hit that Ravenclaw kid" I said. "We should apologise for our behaviour or I'm gonna feel guilty all day" Jared said.

"Well we should, I kinda feel bad too" Lorcan said. "I'm not apologising to anyone, I didn't do anything to begin with" I said with my ego flying high up. 

"YOU STARTED THE GAS LIGHTING" Val said. "But I didn't hurt anyone, I was the only one sitting in the chair till we got kicked out" I said in my defence. "BOTH OF YOU JUST SHUT UP AND LET'S APOLOGISE" Jared said. 

"He's gonna ban us permanently if we enter in there one more time, just leave a note" I suggested. "Val, I think you can write the note with your amazing handwriting" Hugo said sarcastically laughing. "I would be surprised if the owner doesn't get offended" Lorcan said.

Val then wrote a informal letter of apology in his trash handwriting which, would take decades for a commoner to understand. I wish the owner all the best for figuring out what that letter means. 

I hope he doesn't mistaken it for a death threat, cause then it was very likely to be written by us cause, not even in a millennium will anyone think our gang wrote an apology for getting kicked out.

Well then we spent rest of the day standing in the line for Honeydukes bought some sweets. Sadly there was no time for ice skating. But at least we had fun.

I never thought in a lifetime I would actually have fun with literal idiots but believe it or not. I still feel alone cause no matter now much I express out. The thoughts inside me keep drowning me and no one still don't know the real me. In fact even I don't know the real me. I feel like I'm just going with the flow.
