"𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐍𝐄 ,𝐓𝐖𝐎, 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄!" Val exclaimed as the song 'Jingle Bell Rock' started playing and we started doing our dance steps in the most disorganised and discontinuous manner with absolutely no coordination and sync.

Our two weeks of suspension had passed on pretty well. During this time we were announced that exams were to be conducted early for us so we could enjoy the last day before Christmas holidays with a grand celebration. This celebration included a party where performances of students were supposed to be put for display.

For me and my roomies, this performance was compulsory as a part of detention. So the main idea was for Mongrel to use this as an opportunity to publicly embarrass us and guess what? We took the bait.

-1 WEEK AGO-

"Seriously? A performance? The only thing I can do is roll my tongue" Val said as he flexed his flexible tongue which he rolled and made a clover pattern. "I don't think that's- I-" Jared said, quite done putting up with such stupidity as he sighed.

"I don't know what she expects us to do, Mongrel is so bitchy. Maybe we should go sing songs with a lot of swear words" Lorcan suggested. "WOW! IF YOU GUYS DON'T MIND I'M GOING TO KILL MYSELF BEFORE EITHER OF YOU COME UP WITH ANOTHER IDEA TO GET US PUBLICLY EMBARASSED OR WORSE EXPELLED" Hugo said tensed up as he nervously played with his red hair.

"Maybe we should dress up like girls and do the mean girls dance or maybe dress up like cheerleader and dance to shake it off" I said to joke around. The room fell silent and I got unpleasant stares.

"I honestly think that's a great idea" Val announced with a bit of happiness.

"What the fuck?" Lorcan said in confusion. "It would be so hilarious, we'll definitely get the best performance award and show Mongrel that the joke is on her" Val giggled in happiness. "WOAH, I'm not going to dress up like a girl in short skirt and dance in front of the whole school, don't make my life more miserable" Hugo said.

"I'm actually ok with it, it's kinda like, if you can't get a girl you like be the girl" Lorcan said cooly. "Is this joke over? I just said it for fun. Ain't no way I'mma dance shaking my hips around dressed up like a girl in front of hundreds of people. Just think about the reputation I have maintained all this long-" I said objecting to the absurdity of where this conversation was going.

"Come on, do you guys have any better ideas? Like genuine unique ones?" Val asked. "We're not doing the dressing up as girls thing, that's all I know" Jared said. "Fine then give better ideas" Val said crossing his arms. This is just insane, I'm never making jokes again.

"Let's do card magic tricks" Hugo said. "That's so muggle plus real magic exists bro why are you talking like a muggle" Jared said with a blank face.

We took a moment to think, I really wasn't getting any ideas, WHY IS MY BRAIN NOT BRAINING WHEN IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE BRAINING."How about stand up comedy?" Jared asked. "Let's be honest, is lame jokes funny or watching Lysander struggling to dance as a girl funny?" Val asked.

"So wait, you just want to make a fool of me?" I asked in disbelief. Dude, they just want me to be the clown for their entertainment that's nasty Mr. Valentino Anderson.

"Look, we're going to make a fool of ourselves anyways, let's just make it a memorable one that no one will forget" Val said. I mean he was right- Hate to agree but, he was right. BUT HOW THE FUCK AM I GONNA DANCE- I CAN'T EVEN SING IN PUBLIC AND I LOVE SINGING-

-BACK TO PRESENT-

"Right! Left! Right! Left! Shake those hips!" Val screamed. We broke into laughter after we started doing the sassy walk and raised our hands. "Dude this isn't gonna work" Hugo said laughing his ass off. "Look, we can't even do it when we're alone. Imagine we have an audience" Jared said. I can't believe we're actually doing the 'Mean girls dance'. Please tell me I'm dreaming.

"NO LAUGHING! Guys come on please cooperate" Val begged. Usually Val's the one fooling around and I used to be the strict one but it was reversed this time. "I'm just waiting for us to screw up on stage" Lorcan said, laughing like a maniac. I was still hoping this was just a terrible nightmare, I closed my eyes to catch a breath and a vivid image of five of us dancing on the stage with red dresses was generated. Gosh this idea was so ridiculous.

"Can't believe it's tomorrow and we can't dance without laughing every second" Val sighed and chittered disappointingly. "Wait, don't we have rehearsal today?" Jared asked. "No dawg, they cancelled it cause some idiot blew up something on stage and hurt himself, we're directly going on stage tomorrow" Val replied in frustration. We're so screwed.

"I'm definitely laughing during the thigh slap and twerking" Lorcan said as the music once again started playing. We practised again and again a couple of times until our legs cramped up. I must say we eventually improved and controlled our laughter.

We got back to our dorms all sweaty and tired, we were too sweaty to lay on our beds so we lay on the floor like a bunch of lizards. I felt dizzy, I got up as I felt blood gush from my head to my feet and I got up to drink some water.

Hermes, my owl had arrived on the window sill with a package. That must be our dance costumes. "Guys, costumes" I said as I took the package and patted my cute owl on her head looking into her gorgeous big rounded amber eyes. We opened the package and unfolded the dress to take a look.

A short red dress with a white fur belt and white fur at the top and bottom, we also had black boot heels with a golden buckle. Hogwarts was paying for it so we decided to make our costumes perfect and fancy. But it's not like this was going to be of any use after the performance, it would become a mere souvenir. We also had a tiny Santa hat accessory. I controlled my mind to not fabricate the image of the chaos on the stage tomorrow.

Hugo had also gotten the hair growing pill from Weasley's wizard wheezes for long girly hair. We were set for tomorrow's performance. "I just realised we need lipstick and makeup shit-" Val said. "We can borrow from the girls, bet they have a wardrobe full" Lorcan said.

-NEXT DAY-

Fuck, Why the fuck did I agree to do this shit- The dress was squeezing the life out of me, it was so tight and the heels was making the Eiffel tower me into Burj Khalifa. It was so uncomfortable- I ate the hair growth pill as my golden hair grew around 16 inches. I adjusted my long hair as I put on my Santa hat. Gosh I must look hideous.

I came out of the dressing room squirming like a worm as I got into the scene of my roomies looking so pretty like a girl  in a dress and with long hair. I couldn't control my laughter and the way Val's dress was too short for him. We started laughing at each other making fun of how we looked.

"We low key look hotter than half of the girls in the school" Lorcan laughed, making a kissy face pose. "Are you kidding? I'm telling you the gay rates are gonna go up high after our performance" Val said looking at the mirror adjusting his mocha brown hair and making a few poses and faces trying to look beautiful.

"I still regret doing this" Hugo sighed. I looked at Jared and started laughing so bad, I was laughing uncontrollably. I can officially confirm that he's the son of Pierré Jaques, they look so alike apart from the hair colour.

"You look like your mom" I said laughing. "You look like someone I would cheat with" Jared said, raising his eyebrow and flirty. "Thanks darling" I said, getting into an act of a girl as I sassily flipped my hair to make a flirty face at Lorcan. "If you were my sister, fuck incest" Lorcan said. "For the first time in my life, I'm happy I wasn't born as a girl" I said.

Hugo looked like a mix of Lily and Lucy. Lorcan looked pretty much like me excpet the hair colour. Val looked decent but I must say his was probably the most average out of all of ours.

The mood was quite cheerful. All of us were lively, many other performers were having a good laugh at our idea and costume. Many of them told us our performance would be a guaranteed hit, well I guess we just hope for the best and make sure we don't forget the steps or start laughing in mid performance.

We sat down in front of the mirror to put on some makeup. I looked into the mirror, I looked like a mix of my mom's blonde hair, my dad's structure, my grandma's expression and body language. My golden locks on the side of my ear which was quite irritating. My grey blue eyes twinkled in the warm white lights. I didn't need lash extensions, I had unusually long lashes myself.

I put on some mascara and then shaded my eyelids with pink eye shadow. I stroked a cat eye with the eyeliner and applied some blush. I put on red lipstick as I adjusted my Santa hat. I looked at the mirror and did some touch ups, I actually looked pretty, I was quite funny.

I stared at myself, I stared into my own cold eyes as a feeling of despair got to me. I don't know why but I felt self aware as I looked at the mirror. I'm not the kind of person to look in the mirror for more than 15 seconds so I just felt different.

"Help, I smudged my eyeliner!" Lorcan screamed as I snapped out of my thoughts. Lorcan looked like a freaking ghost with black eyeliner all over his eyes.

"Bro, be patient" Val sighed. Well, I was the makeup artist for the gang. I got up from the dressing chair ready to cake their faces up with makeup.

"We look like BLACKPINK!" Val screamed so proud of how our costume and makeup turned up. My mind lingered when I promised Lily I'd meet up with her today after the performance.

"Ok, we're changing all lesbians straight and all straights gays" Lorcan said. "Shut up, we have a freaking performance, don't forget. We have danced in this dress in front of the whole school" Jared said as I saw his face filled with fear and anxiety.

I already had nightmares of every possible way I embarrass myself in front of the crowd. I made up scenarios from my dress ripping to me falling off the stage and dying. "I can't believe we're actually doing this, this is a terrible idea-" Hugo said worried in regret. "We've come so far, let's drain our reputation and lose it all in a day" Lorcan said cheerfully.

"Ok, we better practice a bit more" Val said. "I don't know how I'm going to face Judy after this- I haven't told her about this shit yet- She's gonna troll me for a year for this" Jared said in distress. I saw the time in the watch, I promised to meet Lily backstage- I better get going.

"I'm going to grab a drink" I lied as I took my flight from the scene. "Come back quick! We need to practice!" Val screamed as I rushed off to backstage. I looked around to see people dressed up as greek goddesses and gods for the mythic fashion runaway show that the Slytherins were performing. They're definitely going to slay, it might be hard to defeat them for best performance.

Many of the volunteering students were setting up the stage and the lighting along with the props. Lily was also a volunteer who was incharge of stage lights, I swam in the rush of students running around searching for my princess. I don't think people realised I was actually a guy because I just heard a guy say, "Is that the transfer girl from beauxbatons?"

I finally found Lily having a heated conversation with Roxanne. Lily was wearing a navy blue midi which was simple, elegant and plain. She was wearing the compass necklace that I had given her and golden dangling shooting star earrings. The dedication on her face and the way she looked so professional and mature- She looked like the yin to my yang.

I eyed on a basket full of white stargazer lilies which was probably on one the props for the greek fashion show. I picked out the biggest lily from it and walked towards my Lily as I saw Roxanne leave. I snuck up from behind her back as I saw her writing something down in her shabby handwriting. I tapped her shoulder as she turned to face me a bit startled.

"Oh-" she started and then she took a good look at me as her curled lips bent to a smile and her cheeks turned pink as she smiled. She let out a few giggles and started laughing as I couldn't help but smile back because of her beautiful contagious smiles.

"Ok- but like-" she started as she started giggling once again as she placed her hand on my shoulder. "Dude, you look so good" Lily complimented as she looked into my eyes and couldn't help but laugh pleasantly. I let her enjoy the moment. We went to an empty room where no one could see us.

"You done?" I asked as I rolled my eyes, I was getting bored of her laughing at me straight for five minutes and I was starting to get annoyed. "You look so cute" she squeaked as she poked her fingers into the sides of my cheeks and smiled, squinting her eyes. I just gave an irritated stare. This dress was suffocating me and Lily acting like this was getting over my nerves.

"Aww baby, don't be mad. You look so cute when you're mad" she said giggling. Ok, I just got a taste of my own medicine, I'm never going to joke around telling Lily that she looks cute when she's mad cause I'm like really mad right now and her calling me cute isn't really helping.

She playfully slapped my cheeks and asked, "Why the hell are you wearing heels? You're already freakishly tall and now you're just making me look like a dwarf". "It's all a part of the costume" I replied. Lily then titled my Santa hat and giggled. "It looks cute" she commented. Lily held my hand as she took the white Lily from between my fingers and asked, "Is this for me?"

"No, it's for my boyfriend" I said sarcastically. Lily's cheeks puffed up as she hit my arms and hugged me and rubbed her face on my chest "Why are you so moody? Are you hurt because I laughed?" She asked. "I'm always like this" I said. She raised her head from my chest and said, "I just realised that you're missing one thing" she said. "What?" I asked. "You don't have boobs" she said and I gave a blank stare at her.

"I'm a guy, what do you expect?" I said. "But you're dressed up like a girl" she replied. "Well, we don't need that many details" I said. "I'm happy you weren't born as a girl" Lily said as she played with my hair. "I know or then Lorcan would have knocked me up" I said and Lily looked at me confused not understanding the inside joke.

"I meant that I would hate on you cause you're better than me" she said. "It's not like you don't hate me cause I'm better than you even as a guy" I said smirking as she pushed me away annoyed.

"Ok whatever, I have places to be. I have so much work I can't be wasting time" she said letting go of me as she opened her notepad and walked away as she opened the door. I pulled her in right before she walked out as I grabbed her and hugged her from the back. "I have to go!" She exclaimed. "You look so pretty today" I mumbled into her ears as I rubbed my face on her silky hair.

"So you're telling me I wasn't pretty yesterday?" She snapped. Oh no, I have a bad feeling about this. "No I meant like you look exceptionally pretty today" I defended. "Then I wasn't exceptionally pretty yesterday? Are you cheating on me? Do you like some other girl?" She questioned me. URGH, I was in such a good romantic mood and she had to just completely destroy it. I let her go.

She glared at me as I glared back. "I'll figure it out and if I find anything, you're dead" Lily said boldly. Girls are such drama queens I can never understand them. I glared at her, "You're the one hanging out with multiple guys at the same time and you're accusing me?" I shot back.

"You're a such a fucking bitch Mr. Scamander, now you've held me up and there's going to be a delay" she said as she turned around. I turned my face away ready to leave the room as I felt Lily hold my arms and tiptoed and tucked my golden curls behind my ear as she kissed my cheek and whispered, 'Good luck, love you' as she walked out.

I stood there in the room like an idiot, blushing as I felt the blood rush into my cheeks. I hate her- I hate her so much- I hate how she can turn me on like a light switch- UGH- I hate her because I love her so much- She's just so alluring and debonair- Our love is so thrilling and I love it. It makes me feel so alive. I feel loved and annoyed. It's just perfect. Love is as pathetic as me.

I walked back to the dressing room where I found my roomies practicing. I joined in as we practiced a few times and saved the best of us for the stage. We were sipping on some cola and munching on some crisps.

As our performance was nearing, I felt anxious, not only me but everyone. "Maybe this was a bad idea" Val muttered as we all gave him a death glare. "I ALWAYS KNEW THIS WAS A BAD IDEA-" Hugo started. "DUDE YOU WERE THE ONE WHO WANTED TO DO THIS-" Jared screamed. "I don't know, ok? Maybe I made a wrong call" Val said as his amber eyes looked down.

"There's no use complaining, we're already here" I said as I slurped on my cola. "He's right" Jared sighed as a little girl came inside the room and said, "You're up next come to the back stage".

All of us looked at each other as we hesitantly stood up. "Make sure to smile guys" Val chuckled nervously giving a weak thumbs up as we all just gave him another impactful death glare. "Here lies the reputation of five stupid boys who chose to put their trust in an idiot named Valentino" Jared announced as we walked backstage.

We saw the performance of a bunch of fifth year girls doing k-pop dance from the backstage. I gulped as my heart beat rose. It's fine, I told myself and paced my breath. Lily came to us and said, "Stand at the centre of the stage ok? Do well guys" she wished as she walked away and she secretly grabbed my hand and used our finger tap language and tapped me, 'Stay calm and smile, we don't want a straight face dude dancing or you'll become meme material'.

She walked away giggling as I gave her a stare. She literally told me I have high chances of becoming meme material, now I just feel more anxious, thanks a lot my sweet lovely girlfriend. "I think I'm having a panic attack" Hugo said. "Ehh stop overreacting" Lorcan snapped.

"You guys are up" said the instructor and we freaked out completely. "Go go go" Val said, pushing Hugo who was first in line. We ran up to the stage awkwardly and stood in our positions.

The spotlights hit us and the crowd cheered with excitement and laughter. The song started playing, "Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock" and we started dancing our steps. It wasn't perfect but it was decent as we put on our sassy faces while dancing.

The thigh slap and the twerk! That cracked up the whole crowd as we danced flipping our hairs with a sense of superiority. The crowd was having a fun time, some even joined our dance from the audience. Many took photos and girls were giggling.

The only screw up was that Hugo dropped his hat mid performance but managed to pick it up before the final pose so I guess it was fine.

We finished our dance and made our final pose as Lily ran down the stage and took a photo of us to cherish. The crowd went wild as we blew a flying kiss and waved at them. The host of the show arrived on stage and said, "I must say that was quite a performance girls- oh I'm sorry I mean guys" he said as he chuckled.

We exited the stage as we waved at the crowd. We reached the back stage as all of us let out a sigh of relief. "Beer on me guys" Val said as he started clapping. "Good job mates" Lorcan said, patting our backs and spanking us in happiness.

Lily ran to us squealing in her little golden heels. "Look at the photo I took" she said as she handed us one. "Damn" we all said in chorus as we held the picture and looked at it turn by turn.

"Damn I look pretty" Lorcan said. "Ok I'm just waiting for Judy's reaction" Val said giggling. "I saw her laughing her lungs out in the crowd bruh" Jared said with a displeased face palming in frustration. "I'll be honest if Hugo was a girl I'd date him" Lorcan said.

"It's 2024 wake up, you can date him if he was a guy" I said rolling my eyes. "I like Ajax" Hugo said. "Ok ok I better get going, oh yeah by the way we have a party in the Gryffindor common room, make sure to come. It's just me, Diana and Michelle. You guys can join if you want, we have free booze and of course we would love your company" Lily said as she hurriedly walked away.

-TIME SKIP-

Well we didn't win best performance of course the Slytherins bagged that with that fancy fashion show. But at least we were the runner up and everybody adored our performance plus the cheers we got was the loudest.

Currently I was wearing the 'Midnights Cardigan' with a white T-shirt underneath it and blue midnight coloured pants and my white nikes. I took a nice warm bath to wash all the makeup off. My hair returned back to normal. It was still drying and was partially wet.

Lorcan was wearing a red hoodie with a white shirt underneath and blue jeans. Hugo was just wearing his maroon Weasley sweater. Val's a psychopath cause he was literally wearing a sky blue coloured nike sweatshirt with cream coloured shorts in mid winter. Jared dressed up neatly in a white colour sweater and black jeans.

We were late as usual, surprisingly only by 10 minutes. We hobbled down the stairs into the common room. It was a midnight party so there were no students, only us. "You're late as usual!" Diana yelled as we seated ourselves.

I then took notice of Lily who was already looking at me, we seemed to have matched. Both of us were wearing midnight coloured clothes. I gave a soft smile. Lily then banged her hand on the wooden table and stood up as she announced, "LADIES AND FUCKING BOYS WELCOME TO THE LATE NIGHT GRYFFINDOR CHRISTMAS PARTY OF 2024. SLEEP TOMORROW BUT TONIGHT GO CRAZYYYYYY!!! WOOOOO!!!!" she announced excitedly as she sat down dramatically.

Val started clapping and we all just stared at him. "Guys come on clap! She gave a speech, it's manners" Val said as we stupidly followed his instructions and started clapping. "What's this for?" Jared asked. "Just chill and hang out I guess. It's kind of like a bonding experience among us, its been a while anyways plus parties without guys are boring" Lily said.

"It's a freaking party guys, can we get the beer already?" Lorcan asked as Diana placed a tray full of beer on the table as everyone except me took one and popped it open. "So, uhm?" Hugo asked awkwardly.

"Ok so, we're going to play a game, a drinking game" Lily said dramatically with hand expressions. "Let me guess it goes APATU APATU?" I asked. Michelle seemed quite excited after she heard the Kpop reference. Don't ask me how I know the latest songs without internet, I have illegal ways for that.

"No. It's simple, we have to write down 5 chits either filled with truth or dare and then we shuffle and randomly pick, if you can't answer you have to take a shot" Lily said. Five shot glasses ranging from vodka, rum, tequila, brandy to whiskey were placed in front of each of us. The alcohol gets stronger as you pass more and more questions.

We all wrote down a variety of hard questions and shuffled them together in a fish bowl. "Who wants to give first?" Lily asked. "Val will start" Lorcan said. "WHY ME?!" Val exclaimed. "Valentino, pick you chit" Lily said.

Val picked one and read it out loud, "What's the biggest lie that you have told someone? Probably when I told Diana that I loved her" Val said smugly. "Ohhhh" we screamed. Diana looked mad as her cheeks turned red and she took the bottle of vodka and drank.

Jared took the next one, "Have you ever had sex? No, a big no, I took like one year to ask out my current girlfriend" he said. "Ok these questions are so lame like what the fuck?" Lorcan said as he picked his chit.

"What is the most rebellious thought you have had?" He read out. "What's rebellious?" He asked like an idiot. "Rebellious in the sense like something which is wrong for you to think of" Jared defined. "Nah, I'm not saying shit, or you'll just cancel me" Lorcan said as he took a shot.

"Eyy your first shot!" Hugo exclaimed. "Hugo you're next" Diana said as Hugo picked a chit and read it, "Kiss the hottest girl in the room" he said as he paused and exclaimed, "I'm fucking gay, I ain't kissing any girl" he said as he took his shot and cleared his throat.

"Lysanderrrr" Lily called me out. I took the chit and read it. Bruh, how do I always get the worst ones? "Describe the hottest kiss you had" I said. That would probably be the kiss we had in the forbidden forest when I switched places with Creevy, that kiss was just so addictive.

"I- I guess" I started. Nah if I tell you that my life is over. I took a shot of glass in my hand. "NO WAY" Val said. I gulped it down my throat as I tasted a disgusting taste and burning sensation, the first time I drank alcohol without getting spiked. "Fuck" I swore as I took a piece of chocolate and ate it for the sensation to pass.

"HAH! Mission accomplished" Lily said as she drew a chit. "Kill, kiss, marry, Hugo, Val, Lysander" she read out. "Why the hell did I get the three fucking bitches?" She said, "I'll kill Hugo cause he's my cousin I can't pull a move on him, I'll kiss Val and marry Lysander" she said.

"Lysander huh?" Lorcan asked with a smirk. "Wait, so if Hugo wasn't your cousin?" Val asked. "I'd still kill him, hahaha, he doesn't make the cut" Lily said as she suddenly turned toward me and said "I love you baby" Lily said as she put her arms around me and started hugging me. "OI! Hands off!" I said pushing her away. "But darling you love me" Lily said as she leaned on me and I gave a blank stare. I was secretly enjoying her atrocities as she gave me a wink.

"Make out with someone" Diana read out her chit as she looked over at Val. "Well you're in luck Valentino" she said as she got up from her seat. "Hell nah" Val said, getting up and walking away from her. "Come on, we've done this multiple times" she said.

"That was when we were dating" Val corrected. "Come on, did you really forget about what happened two weeks ago? You just want to act all mighty in front of your friends, don't you bitch?" She said,

"I have a girlfriend" Val said. "Oh? So you're telling me you got a girlfriend in the span of two weeks?" She asked. Drama, drama, I was totally loving this I started clapping and cheering. Ok, the effects of the alcohol were pretty evident now. "No, but I decided to be faithful towards my Lily" he said. "ME?! I'm not your girlfriend mister" Lily shot at him. "I meant my muggle girlfriend" Val said dumbfounded.

"She's probably up with some other guy sucking his dick" Diana giggled and Val lost his cool he started breathing heavily. "Look, you're not even objecting to it so even you agree" she said proudly.

Lorcan seemed to get bored of the drama, he got up from his chair as he held Diana by her shoulders and kissed her, it lasted for a couple of minutes. Val looked red looking away from the scene in fury. "YO LORCAN WHAT THE FUCK-" Hugo screamed. "Someone had to do it" he replied.

It was now Michelle's turn, "Describe everyone's personality in one word" she read out and asked, "Can I have a dictionary? I'm not good with fancy words" she said. "Just say whatever comes to your mind" Lily said as she took a bottle of vodka and poured her a glass and drank it.

"Val is impotent" Michelle uttered and the coca cola which was halfway through my oesophagus recoiled it's way back to my mouth as I spit on Lily, choking on some of the cola and laughing and coughing at the same time along with everyone else who had completely lost it. Val turned red and said, "I feel so targeted" in a stiff voice. "I'm so sorry Val, I never knew" Lorcan said giggling as he was wheezing to catch his breath. Diana was on the floor laughing screaming "Help".

"I meant like he's ungovernable" Michelle said trying to take back what she had just said. "You seriously want to do this Micheal?" Val said. "If I'm Michael" she said as she gulped a shot of alcohol and said, "You're Valdez, not Leo Valdez though, he's too good to be compared with a moron like you" Michelle said.

"What are you yapping girl?" Val asked. "Eyyy, settle the drama" Jared said as he looked at Val's face and started chuckling and Val gave a tight slap on Jared's back. "Michelle continue" Diana said. "Jared is a gentleman, Lorcan is unhinged, Hugo is delicate, Lysander is sinister" she was saying when I cut her off and said, "Why am I a sinister?" I asked.

"Cause you stole my fucking diary and know that one disgusting thing I like and can't believe it myself you crazy bastard" she fumed. "Oh about you and-" I started and she threatened to pour wine over my cardigan. "You and that guy" I said, smirking. "I didn't know you guys had history" Lily said glaring at me. "Don't worry, it was much of a blackmailing thing" Michelle said glaring at me.

"Don't glare at Lysander too much Lily might unalive you in your sleep" Diana giggled. Lily plucked out a strand of Diana's blonde hair. "Ouch! Psycho for psycho I guess" she giggled. "Mickey, continue" Lily said, sighing. "Lily is tangy and Diana is savage" she completed.

"Ok so back to Val" Lily said as Val picked a chit. "Imagine we weren't wizards, what profession would each of us do?" Val read out and sighed. "This is so fucking boring can I just drink for fun at this point, these shots are really tempting" Val said as he took two continuous shots. "YO CHILL" Lorcan said.

"I bet Micheal made this question" Val chuckled. "I did" Michelle snapped. "Ok, so- Uhh- Jared would run a bakery, Lorcan will be a basketball player, Hugo probably some boring dude going to office, Lysander will be this super corrupted rich dude, Lily will be Lysander's wife-" he was saying when me and Lily exclaimed, "OI!" in sync. "What?" Val asked. "Being his wife isn't a profession" Lily said. "Potter, is that your problem? The problem is why you're my uhm- hypothetical wife" I said.

"Am I the only one who feels the way Lysander says, 'Wife' is so weird" Jared said chuckling. "I'mma kill my wifey!!!!!" I squealed like an idiot, that must be the alcohol's fault.

"Look, personally, I would rather pay attention in every single class and become a smart ass and work hard to become someone successful rather than be his wife" Val said. "But you can't be my wife, you can only be my husband" I said, putting up a straight face. Val gave me a glare, "That isn't funny" he said. "That wasn't even a joke, it was a fact" I replied.

"Ok whatever so moving on Diana would probably be a sex worker" he said as Diana got up from her chair and walked towards Val and pushed him off his chair and kicked his nuts as Val groaned. Me and my roomies were being the least valuable friends as we were laughing watching him suffer. "Michelle would be some weirdo librarian or something" Val groaned as he got up and sat back up on the chair in an unsettling way.

"Kill, kiss, marry, Lorcan, Val, Lysander" Jared read out his question. "Gay edition" Lorcan added on. "Uhhh, this is so uncomfortable- I guess I'll kill Val, he's a cheater, I'll kiss Lorcan cause he's a player, I'll marry Lysander because he will never give me a place in his bed" Jared said. "I'm going to tell Judy you're gay for Lysander. Also Lily add JJ on your hit list" Diana said.

Lily just rolled her eyes. "Ok, Hugo's turn," Lorcan said. "Did you forget yourself you idiot?" Hugo asked. "Oh yeah" he said as he drew a chit out and read out the question, "What crime would you commit if you would never get caught for it?"

"Damn, ok that's a good question" Jared said leaning back on his chair, "I miss Judy, she would have enjoyed this party" Jared said. "You could have invited her, I would have lent her my invisibility cloak to sneak in" Lily said, whereas in parallel Lorcan was in a dilemma of whether he wanted to answer or not.

"Nah, I can't answer, fuck" Lorcan said taking a shot. "Bro he's always skipping" Hugo complained. "Lorcan you have to answer compulsory next time" Diana informed. "Fine" Lorcan replied, taking another shot for fun.

"Dance in front of Mongrel" Hugo read out as he started laughing out of control. "In what right mind did anyone think I'd do this?". "If you do this, I'll buy you beers until you're 20 years old" Lorcan said grinning. "You know what, it might actually be worth it" Hugo said as he got up. "NO WAY!" Jared exclaimed.

"Nah I can't" she said as he got down and chugged down some alcohol. "I can't afford her deducting marks in every test- She's also the kind of person to tell other teachers to reduce my marks so I can fail and my mom can torture me" Hugo sighed. It was my turn now- I picked out a chit from the fish bowl.

"Would you rather get married and have no kids or stay unmarried but have kids. Yo, who made this my only question to them is why?" I said. "So what's your answer?" Val asked intrigued. "I'd rather deal with a grown woman than toddlers and adamant teenagers" I replied coolly. "MY TURNNNNN!!!" Lily exclaimed in excitement as she took out the chit and read out, "Have you ever cheated on anyone? Explain" Lily read out. "Explain in the sense? How many marks is it?" She asked.

"TEN MARKS" Val replied excitedly to hear some tea. "Well, I cheated on Keres once-" Lily started and my mind was blown. DUDE SHE HAD SOMEONE BETWEEN ME AND KERES? I BETTER KEEP CHECKING UP ON HER, I DON'T WANT TO FALL INTO HER ENCHANTMENT WHILE SHE CHEATS WITH SOMEONE ELSE. I took a sip of some coke.

"Who was it?" Diana asked surprised. "Lysander duh" she said casually and I spit out the coke. "WHAT? WHEN? WHEN DID YOU CHEAT WITH ME ON KERES WITHOUT ME?" I was baffled. "I knew it, good looking guys are never innocent, they're either just straight up illicit or have hidden illicit affairs" Michelle said gulping on some wine for strength and my roomies were at a loss for words.

"You're no longer Saint Lysander-" Jared started. "I can't believe you hit on my cousin" Hugo said. "The old Lysander is dead" Lorcan said as he started praying, "LORD SAVE MY BROTHER HE'S BEEN POSSESSED". Why is everyone being so overdramatic?

"Look, hear me out, she's bluffing-" I said. "Why would she lie?" Val asked. "I don't-" I started when Lily intertwined her fingers with mine as I pushed them away from my will to get into character of being the bitch I was usually to Lily. "Did you forget the day we kissed? After we shared that ice cream? When it snowed, we went to the top of a hill-" she said with her almond shaped green eyes. "YOU KISSED ME AGAINST MY WILL" I screamed furiously.

"No you never overreacted, in fact you were pleased" she said. "AHHH, just quit the crap and stop telling lies" I said frustrated as I glared into her green, green eyes. Her bubbly personality and how relaxed and flirty faced looked. Her fingers tapped my legs. It was again our secret language code. She conveyed to me through her finger taps that, 'Babe, You look so hot when you're angry, I'm so high right now I might kiss ya'.

I rolled my eyes as we stared at each other. "Kiss!" Diana exclaimed as she saw our exchange of glances. "Excuse me what?" I asked. "KISS! KISS! KISS!" Diana and Michelle started chanting as they clapped their hands. My roomies joined in and I was put under immediate pressure.

Lily didn't seem to hesitate though, but that's because she's under the influence of alcohol. "KISS! KISS! KISS! KISS! KISS!" They went on chanting but Hugo seemed against it. My heart fluttered and started beating quickly, why am I acting as if I'm going to kiss her the first time?

I breathed heavily. Val then impatiently got up from his seat and grabbed my hair. "OI!" I screamed, I could throw him on the floor and I could kill him but he's my friend I can't be violent towards him. "STOP!" I yelled as he took two glasses of vodka and shoved it down my throat.

ERGH THE TASTE- I felt possessed, I felt so light, I couldn't feel anything- "It'll be easier now" Val said smirking. Distorted chants of everyone screaming 'kiss', my vision seemed to have blurred- did I get poisoned? I felt sleepy, I felt like I had lost control of myself- I felt lost and alone-

I was trying to get my mind straight as I squinted my eyes to snap out of it- I have to increase my alcohol tolerance levels. I opened my eyes to Lily- wait- why's she here? Why's she so close to me? Am I dreaming or in some memory trance?

Her soft fingertips touched my collarbones as she traced my skin up to my cheekbones and held on my neck as I felt her nails sinking into my skin. The aroma of her sakura smelling hair. Her emerald green eyes shining so bright blinding my eyes, the golden flecks in them and the sprinkle of sea green hues. My hands involuntarily touched her pink cheeks which were flustered due to alcohol. I tucked her curtain bangs behind her ears to reveal her gorgeous earrings as I admired her beauty.

"Ready?" She muttered looking at me with a sneaky seductive look raising her eyebrows. "For?" I asked in a trance as I once again heard the chants of people screaming 'kiss!'. Lily fiddled with my golden hair at the back of my neck as she moved closer her lips were so scarlet it was maroon. My heart rate elevated as our lips rubbed, she looked significantly breathtaking today. Her seductive expression and body language. I could smell the bubblegum scent from her lip gloss. She closed her eyes as I closed mine and kissed me and yes it was good.

I held onto her hands with our fingers interlocked as she kissed me softly and gently, my other hand crept to her neck as I returned every single kiss she had gifted me. Her lips seemed so fragile and delicate to be under my possession but that made my experience a hundred times better. I heard a few giggles in the background as I enjoyed the comfort of her lips and the reek of alcohol in them.

"You're poison" she muttered into my lips slowly and continued after a pause, "But tasty". We eventually broke apart and the background noises which were filled with laughter and giggles turned into claps in fifteen seconds. I was just confused-

I don't remember much after that, my memories seemed to be in a blacked out blur. Random short memories of all of us dancing and singing 'Bad blood'. Memories of laughing like absolute maniacs and scaring some younger graders who came down to go to the bathroom. I think we even have face painted? I don't know-

-BLANK-

Daylight hit my eyes. My eyes flinched as I slowly rolled on my bed and got up after 20 minutes of preparing myself to face the new day. I opened my eyes- FUCKKK-

I fell backwards as I tumbled down the bed and hit my head on the tea table. I paced like I had seen a ghost. Holy fuck- THAT JUMP SCARE WAS INSANE. WAIT, DID I JUST SHARE A BED WITH VAL- I MEAN NOT IN THE WRONG SENSE BUT STILL- WHY DIDN'T I SLEEP IN MY OWN BED?

I got up with one eye closed and the other eye half opened as I put on some grey coloured curtains to block the sunlight. I looked at my bed occupied by someone else. I groaned in frustration as I kicked the person who was sleeping so soundly with bed sheets covering their face in the morning by stealing my place.

"AH!" I heard a female voice as the person rolled down the bed. I peered down to look as I sat on my bed and saw- OH MY HEART! IS THAT LILY? I took a closer look, it was Lily with her hair messed up and her face filled with random doodles. I giggled and she opened her eyes with a grumpy face and glared at me as she started laughing.

"What I asked?" I asked in a sleepy and tired hungover voice. "Your face" she said as I took a hand mirror and looked at my face which gave me a jump scare. There were hearts drawn with lipstick all over my face. I made a straight face of disbelief and stared at her as she was laughing like a psycho as she randomly started throwing things she found on the floor and started throwing it at me.

She threw a sock that I've been trying to find for months! OMG! She's really a good witch! She started throwing things which I didn't even know I owned until she used it to boo me for I don't know what reason. "Stop making that straight face, it's so funny?" She said, "You seem high from yesterday's alcohol" I said. "I don't need alcohol to make me high stupid friends like you are enough" she said.

Wait, why's she in my bed- and what's she doing in the boys dorm?I feel like I'm recalling things we never did. My mind went into the wildest of my imaginations- Nah- I couldn't have spent a night with her. Maybe I should ask her? No that's way too direct and-

"Did we sleep together?" She asked, interrupting my thoughts. HOW SHE WAS SO DIRECT WITH THAT. "I hope not" I said still in quite a shock, oh no, did I screw yesterday up- Why can't I remember shit- I hope we didn't fuck-

"GOSH, I REALLY WANTED TO REMEMBER THE NIGHT WE SPEND- DANG NOW THAT'S GONE" Lily said disappointingly. Now what are the chances my roomies are dead ass sleep and are not eavesdropping this conversation right now cause even if one of them hears this, I'm done. I went to check in what level of sleep they were in so I could continue this conversation. I have to always stay vigilant. Jared was gone but everyone else was in deep sleep.

"Dude, please no. Are you sure we did it?" I asked, panting in anxiety. "Uhm, no but if we did that would be disappointing" she said. I was getting annoyed seeing her unconcerned face. "Do you even care about what happened?" I asked tensed. "Past is past bro" she said as she got up from the floor and laid down on my bed and covered herself in my comforter to doze off.

"OI! GET UP IT'S MY BED" I said. "Go sleep with Val" she said, pushing me away. "Go to your dorm! You're a girl! GO TO THE GIRLS DORM" I said. "I changed my name to Lillian Moony Potter" she said, yawning. "Get upppppp" I said, messing with her blanket. "Go away" she said frustratedly pushing me away as I laid down next to her, of course I was secretly enjoying it having ulterior motives of being next to her. Heh.

"OK FINE, HALF A BED" she said as she put a bolster in the middle. Then we started having a tug of war for more of the comforter coverage. "STOP TAKING SO MUCH! IT'S COLD OK? STOP BEING SUCH A FAT PIG BURNT BACON!" She yelled pulling the comforter to herself. "I'm taller you're so tiny I need a microscope to see you" I insulted her back.

Lily then pulled the illegal move of mugging me with a pillow. I grabbed her hair as he let go of me. I took a pillow and stuffed her head into it violently. "DIE!" I laughed with an evil smirk. "Scam- an- and" she struggled. OH SHIT- LILY'S MY GIRLFRIEND- I FORGOT-

I let go of her as she looked down like a zombie with her messy red hair covering her face like a ghost, a tiny smile of her white teeth emerged from her hair as I saw her green eyes glow in blood thirsty revenge. I got goosebumps, she looked like a true serial killer. "You will pay and die. I will kill you" she said as she pushed me against my bed and made me lie down as she rose above me.

"I'm your boyfriend" I said, chuckling. "Yeah so you'll do anything for me right? So I'm gonna-" she said as she broke into a smile and fell over me and cuddled me and started tickling me, "TICKLE YOU TO DEATH" She said as she tickled me but I didn't react. "Lorcan made me immune to that" I said as I gave an evil grin and started tickling her and she started giggling.

"STOP!" She yelled as she giggled and grabbed my hair and stuffed pillows in my face as I let go of her and she was running around the dorm shielding herself with a pillow. I grabbed her from the back and she bit my hand which I wrapped around her, "DOG!" I screamed. "CREEP!" She yelled back.

My roomies are just built differently. There is a whole damn world war going on and they didn't even flinch, hats off guys.

"What the hell-" Jared said, bursting the doors open as he saw me and Lily playing with our pillows as a sword and shield. "Lily, you woke up. I see" she said as he gave us a suspicious glare. "We were just fighting cause he was startled that I was in his bed" Lily said. "I didn't ask" he said suspiciously, squinting his eyes as he gave a sudden glare at me but I didn't even jump- I just gave a casual look.

"CAN YOU TELL THIS MORON TO GO OUT?" I screamed in frustration of the bite she gave me. "I'm going anyways" she said, throwing my precious pillow which Aunt Ginny had gifted me on the floor. I picked it up and patted my pillow like a cat and hugged it and embraced it. I could see Sugars getting jealous of the pillow as she sat watching the whole drama from the edge of my bed frame.

"I'm going" Lily said, giving me a look and sassily tossed her hair and walked out. "You both are really tiresome, I can't imagine you two together- Shipping both of you might be cute but- I don't think it's going to last for more than a week" Jared said. "Yeah I know" I said, faking a grin and lying.

It's been more than a month since we got together and the ship is still sailing better than ever. Maybe our love language is just being sweet but psycho. One time we're all over one another and the next we're dissing each other and laughing like morons. That's just us, being unique- that's us being friends- that's us being enemies, that's us being lovers.

We just like entertaining ourselves by being every essence you can get in our lives. She's my most trustworthy friend, she's the most fucked up badass enemy I hate and compete with, she's also my one and only true lover.

PHEW! Yesterday night was really crazy though- I'm actually kind of glad I don't remember completely. I remember all of us singing and dancing to bad blood and doing absolute shit- I'm happy I don't need to endure embarrassment by remember such shit, but I bet you since I'm happy that I don't remember some part of my brain will say, 'SIKE BRO' and play that memory to wake me up from sleeping on a Sunday morning.

That's just life. It's fucked.
