𝐇𝐎𝐆𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒 has pretty much been a mad house ever since March ended. April has just begun and the tension for O.W.L.s is at an all time peak. Many people are in chronic depression and anxiety attacks have been striking a lot lately.

Many students fainting due to lack of intake of food and water. Half of the Ravenclaws in my year and at the hospital wing suffered from sleep deprivation and dehydration. The sleeping draught is probably the most used potion in Hogwarts this year. I'll be honest I have seen the seniors stress about exams but my year students are like another level obsessed with exams.

Also, when I went home for Easter holidays, I got the shock of my life. Taylor just announced her new album, 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT' and it's coming out on 19th April and I'm just depressed that I can't listen to it until like JUNE END. IT'S LITERAL TORTURE. Also, I'm going to the Eras tour in August in London hehe. I'm so excited right now.

Ok so coming back to Hogwarts being a hellhole. I honestly feel like some dumb kid because I'm slacking off doing nothing while people are putting their life at stake for studying like bro. I don't even think Jared has slept for the past one week.

SCREW JARED, VAL HAS ALWAYS BEEN HANGING OUT WITH HIS TEXTBOOK EVER SINCE HE CAME BACK FROM EASTER HOLIDAYS. Even Lorcan has gotten serious and he's skipping Quidditch practice every now and then to study. Hugo is always running behind some teacher asking for important questions and doubts.

Potter has been swallowing dry instant coffee to stay awake all night. Diana and Michelle were walking around screaming their lungs out reciting paragraphs in the common room. I won't say the N.E.W.T.s students are any better.

I swear Scorpius looks like a half dead corpse with panda eyes. Rose just seems to be done with life, I mean she literally reads even on bathroom breaks. Albus' permanent place is sleeping on top of his potions textbook in the great hall.

Sometimes looking at all this really deprives my own mental health.

Ker*s has also gotten really serious lately, I haven't even him in a long time. Aurelia on the other hand seems pretty chill even though she fainted once or twice during the Quidditch match because of dehydration.

Hogwarts should rename itself into THE TORTURED STUDENTS DEPARTMENT and make me its chairman at this point for being the chillest dude in these dark times. I mean I'm chill cause I'm really good and I already did my 47th revision.

But I'm genuinely the most tortured person in Hogwarts right now, like imagine hating on a girl when she likes you and then you start liking her she brother zones you and then you fucking kiss and she's like NAH I LOVE MY BOYFRIEND WHO I CHEATED ON. I HAVE TOO MUCH EXPERIENCES IN THE FIELD OF TORTURE, I AM RIGHTFULLY THE CHAIRMAN OF THE TORTURED STUDENTS DEPARTMENT.

Ok either ways, I'll now summarise the achievements I have achieved in the month of February and March on the aspect of getting my girl LILY <3

I'm going to explain the happenings/gossips in the past few months in a news reporter method.

*CAMERAS ROLL, T.V. SCREEN TURNS ON AND THE NEWS CHANNEL GETS TUNED IN*

I, Lysander Alexander Scamander the chairman of THE TORTURED STUDENTS DEPARTMENT will be the news reporter for the happens of THE TORTURED STUDENTS DEPARTMENT for today and we'll be discussing about the the first hot topic,

HEADLINE 1: 'THE-LILYSANDERESELIA-LOVE-QUADRILATERAL', INVOLVING 4 TORTURED STUDENTS:

February was a pretty good start, the main drama kicked off on Valentine's day after Aurelia gave chocolates to Keres and Lily got all jealous. Ever since then, Lily has been quite a crazy kid to Keres. In the name of being possessive she started going all LOONY for the sake of her middle name being 'Luna'.

#21 February 2024:

I was walking to transfiguration class on a free period because Mongrel called me up to complete my detention. In the corridors I saw Lily clinging onto Keres' arm as Aurelia was talking to him.

"Are you done talking to my Keke yet?" Lily asked sassily. I hid behind the pillar to watch the drama. "Have some manners Potter" Aurelia sneered and Keres, whose head seemed to be spinning from all this drama, said, "Can you both stop? Aurelia, I already told you not to contact me anymore. Can you stop?" Keres said in rage.

"Keres I feel you" Aurelia said and she shot back at her, "Oh gosh you can understand? That's great now, please leave" he said in frustration. He just seemed to be done with his life, his eyes were so sore and he just wanted a break and that's something I'm not going to be giving him. I'm going to make him suffer for touching my property.

Lily gave a sassy smile and Aurelia gave an angry grin as they all dispersed from the scene and I overheard Keres tell Lily, "Lils, can you leave my hand?" he said trying to hide how annoyed her was right now. "But I love you" she said, smiling. "Lily, I know you're doing this because you think there's something between me and Aurelia" he said.

Lily replied or exactly threatened, "No, I trust you Keres I know you'll never cheat on me or leave me stranded. I mean if you are then I would go insane and not let you live but, I know you're not that kind of person. Plus, I feel like our relationship has been too formal and it's been like a year since we started dating, so it's time to get comfortable right?"

"Um, yeah" he said, but I knew how forced that felt. He didn't want anything to change. The sense of disapproval on his face was clearly visible. My happiness at that moment was just unexplainable.

#26 February 2024:

This happened in the library when the whole TORTURED STUDENTS DEPARTMENT was studying for revision exams.

Aurelia had entered the scene and she had picked out a book from the library shelf and she came to sit with Keres and Lily. Lily the idiot pulled Keres and started snogging him so that Aurelia could move away and then next day the whole romance shit of making out in the library was all over the paper and Keres wasn't happy about it.

On the 28th Lily approached me and told me the whole story on how Keres was upset about the daily prophet gossips and how he didn't like the attention they suddenly were gaining from the media.

She also told me about how he seemed to be ignoring her but I'm pretty sure that she was just overthinking and dramatising that part as the next Sunday I saw Keres smiling like a joker with Lily at Hogsmeade flirting and being hopelessly in love with each other.

#4 March 2024:

I was pretty pissed after how well their Hogsmeade date went so, I wanted to sabotage their peace so I put on my imaginary cupid uniform to shoot arrows at both Keres and Aurelia. I stalked Keres for around three days and found his daily schedule and I just made sure that at one point of the day Aurelia and Keres.

But on 4th of March I got the wonderful opportunity of making Keres madly fall in love with Aurelia.

I and Aurelia had just had one of our weekly 'Keres-welfare meet'. Right as we both were exiting the classroom we saw a scene of Keres walking with a huge stack of books and papers. I pretended to not notice as I walked away and with a wave of my fingers I used wandless magic to make him slip and Aurelia went running to save him.

All the books scattered in the hallway and a scene of Aurelia using magic to prevent Keres from falling and then help him up and pick his books up and carry them to the muggle studies classroom.

Keres was embarrassed at that minute but he SMILED. That is huge guys, Keres the biggest green flag in the world smiling at another girl in spite of having a girlfriend? I hit the bullseye. I made sure this incident reached Lily's ears using Val.

Val is like the source of half of the rumours at Hogwarts so, if you tell him gossip. He makes it into reality. Thanks Val because of you, I'll never be able to talk to people and try to spread rumours and decrease my social anxiety.

#14 March 2024:

Ok this incident was totally unplanned and was like super last minute. So me and Lily basically had to finish our prefect paperwork and were taking a trip to the dungeons so that we could finish our internals for O.W.L.s.

We walked into Keres and Aurelia who seemed to be arguing, they were coincidently partners for their potions internals and I took advantage of the incident and with a swish of my wand I made Aurelia fall on Keres' chest thus, hugging him. Lily was like FURIOUS LIKE YOU COULD SEE HER RED HAIR CATCH FIRE.

Aurelia played along acting like she was actually hugging Keres and said, "I'm sorry" to add fuel to the fire creating a scenario that they were actually quite close even though in reality Keres was just confused at what had happened and why Aurelia was suddenly hugging him.

Now Lily's suspicion on Keres and Aurelia had risen. Good job the chairman of the tortured students department! You're being a good chairman and doing your job of torturing all the students for your welfare.

#19 March 2024:

Um, so I kinda went aggressive with this one, but in my defence it was pretty much an accident. So one casual day Keres and Aurelia were just crossing paths like normal human beings. I had just finished Herbology classes and I had come out of the greenhouses.

I used a weak diffusing love potion that I found in a broomstick cupboard and it seemed pretty legit. I sprayed it in the air making sure Keres inhales it Keres, and then he kinda fell for this other standby Hufflepuff girl and started kissing her.

For my luck in the perfect timing, Lily had come out of class joyfully talking with Michelle and Diana. Yup, so he fucked up, to be exact I fucked him up.

But later when Potter found out he was under a love potion she thought that one of her obsessive fanboys did it so that they could get with Lily so she kind of forgave him, after all Lily kissed me when she was with Keres so he basically did deserve a second chance.

But I think this kind of affected Aurelia. I don't know if she knows that he was under a love potion. But who cares I just want Lily at this point and I need to make Keres look like a bad guy so that she breaks up with him.

I remember when I used to be in the position where I was like Keres HAS to cheat on Lily and Lily has to figure that out and break up with him but at this point I think Potter loves this bitch so much that she'd be ok with a three-some relationship and I CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN.

Well that's pretty much it when it comes to the case of the 'The-Lilysandereselia-love-quadrilateral'. Now getting on to the next case.

HEADLINE 2: THE ANNOYING JADY ROMANCES INVOLVING 2 TORTURED STUDENTS:

Well, it's basically about Jared and Judy's relationship status. Ok, so, is going out together spending time together by the lake and in romantic places, having library dates, going on picnics, cooking each other food not love, THEN DEFINE LOVE.

I just get so pissed when Jared casually does the most ROMANTIC THING EVER AND HE'S LIKE, 'Yeah, we're just friends'. LIKE BRO, IS HE BLIND? BRO NEEDS A NEW BRAIN... SO HERE'S AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR AN ABOVE AVERAGE BRAIN WITH COMMON SENSE. CONTACT, 'THE TORTURED STUDENTS DEPARTMENT DAILY NEWS' IF YOU HAVE A SPARE ONE.

They both are the kind of people to get married and they're like, 'We didn't get married are you crazy???'. AND YES I AM CRAZYYYYYYYY. IF I FURTHER ADDRESS THIS NEWS I'LL DIE.

If I die due to blood pressure please sue Jared Jaques and Judy Berkshire for my death.

HEADLINE 3: VALINA MIGHT BE DYING:

So, recently Lorcan caught Val cheating on Diana and things really got messy in my dorm. Everyone hates Val and bro's trying to condemn cheating for some reason so that's pretty screwed up.

None of us told Diana and this issue didn't get out yet cause, I mean what he did was bad and evil but we're friends, I can't just snitch on him like that. But I feel like this might affect mine and Lily's relationship.

Val's defence for his act was, 'I think she's not interested in me anymore and I think she's seeing someone else and I'm afraid that she'll break up with me and I can't afford being single'. THAT WAS THE MOST FUCKING ASS REPLY EVER. BRO YOU ARE NOT BORN WITH A FUCKING GIRLFRIEND ARE YOU? LOOK AT ME I'M A FUCKING 16 YEAR OLD I HAVEN'T EVEN KISSED A GIRL OF MY WILL AND I EXIST PEACEFULLY.

Val, I can't support you on this one, mate. I hope they sort things out and everything ends up well. But from some intel I got, there is a high chance Diana is cheating on Val too so, it's like a mutual thing.

But the thing is, at the end of the day. GUYS ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO'LL BE PORTRAYED AS FUCKERS, THE NEWS OF WHAT THE GIRL DID WOULD BE BURIED IN THE DARKNESS. THAT'S HOW HOGWARTS WORKS. GIRLS ARE ALWAYS GOOD AND IF A GIRL AND GUY GETS IN TROUBLE THE BLAME IS ALWAYS ON THE GUY.

Either way, I must say though. The girl whom Val is cheating on Diana with is such a red flag I'm like 100% she has like three or four more guys except Val.

HEADLINE 4: LORGO BUT NO LORGO

Lorcan is an adamant child who just can't accept that he's gay. I don't know what he gets from drooling over girls just to prove that he's straight. I don't know, maybe he's scared of facing reality or something?

Maybe he's scared of getting made fun of and people bullying him and regarding him as uncool or something cause he's the kind of guy who would sell his soul to be popular. I don't know. But bro really has to come out before Hugo finds another dude.

Yeah so basically that's what's been happening. Now that I'm saying all of this I honestly can't believe even with O.W.L.s coming up there is just so much drama. All this shit is the reason love has got such a bad reputation like people should really touch some grass and realise that YOU CAN ONLY HAVE ONE GIRL OR ONE GUY.

People should also admit that they love each other and stop lying to your friends (I have no rights to tell this to be honest, I mean I haven't even uttered a word about my obsession with Lily but, I only complain I can't do shit). People should also realise that they're in love, they shouldn't be this naïve like Lorcan. I feel so bad for Hugo right now.

Either way, SCREW ALL THAT! Right now I'm going to meet Aurelia at the library and I'm going to confront her about the whole Keres situation. It's time for me to speed up, it's April already and it time for me to actually get serious and start firing things up in that futile relationship, its time for them to fight and draw blood and I had just had the perfect plan for their April fools.

I walked into the library, I had to double check whether I accidentally walked into a cult meeting or a library as I heard many chants of names in German, Latin and greek. I wandered around searching for Aurelia.

I was surfing through the book shelves touching every single book and walking past the wonderful smell of old paper. That was when I saw MY Lily leaning against one of the shelves glued to the book. Girls who read books are hot. It was just so pretty to see her eyes wandering from line to line as her kissable lips murmured and mumbled words.

Then Lily took a glance at me glaring at her and I turned away acting casually pretending I wasn't looking at her a few milliseconds ago. "Do I have a book you want?" she asked. I'll be honest ever since that whole drama which happened on my birthday we haven't talked much, so I was just glad we're still on speaking terms and that forbidden forest detention after we bunked was shitty. I got bit by a variety of insects and I couldn't sleep all night.

"Uh, I- Well someone told me to give you this" I said as I handed over a letter. I was supposed to hand this to her later but since she's here I guess it's fine. So basically the letter is a part of the dose I have planned for testing Keres today.

I'm going to send a letter to Keres in a manner that Lily wants to talk to him by the black lake at 6:00pm, I'm going to send Aurelia a letter pretending Keres wrote a letter to meet her by the black lake 6:00pm and Lily's letter is written in such a manner that Aurelia is writing to Lily to meet her at 6:05pm.

I'm going to make Keres and Aurelia come to the scene early and make it look like they are talking and Lily will arrive 5 minutes later and she'll get suspicious of Keres cheating, thinking Aurelia wrote her the letter to prove that Lily is a third wheel and there is something going on between Keke and Aura. Lily will most likely pick a fight and it would end up in chaos so that's a win! I'm such a freaking genius I'm so proud of myself. Fingers crossed that this works out.

"Hmm, ok thanks Ly" Lily said and I was about to leave when she tugged the back of my shirt, "Ly- Don't- don't ever leave me, I know things happened between us but don't make it awkward. I just want things to be normal" she said. "Pots, can you shut up? I don't like you. I accidentally said that ok? It's embarrassing that you keep pointing it out" I said with a straight face.

Lily smiled as she mouthed an 'I love ya bitch' and she went back to her book. SHE'S JUST TOO CUTE. I LOVE HER HEART FACE AND HER CHEEKS AND HER EXPRESSION. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT SMILE WHICH ONCE USED TO ANNOY ME IS NOW LIKE MY LIQUOR.

As I came out of the book section I saw Aurelia sitting on the table waiting for me. I went and sat opposite her. "You said you wanted to meet?" she asked. "Yeah, actually, I've been meaning to ask you this for a long time now" I said as I paused dramatically. "Yeah?" she replied.

"By any chance do you love Keres?"

I could see her expression change and she put on that fake disgusted face, "Are you crazy?" she said, acting and laughing hysterically. What a terrible liar I thought. "I mean you're making it pretty obvious Aurelia, I've been so mean to you and you keep coming back. It's because you want to be close with Keres right?" I asked as I interlock my fingers and placed my hand on the desk.

"You saw right through me" she said as she started blushing in embarrassment. Wow, that was easy. "I- He has Lily so I think you should-" I started as she cut me off and said. "No, don't talk to me about that bitch, she's torturing him. You know that too right? Keres deserves better than that demoness" Aurelia said. "Yeah, but-" I started when she cut me off and said, "I'm sorry if you have a problem Mr. Scamander but I'm not giving up on him" she said getting worked up.

"Keres said he wanted to meet you and gave me this letter" I said as I handed it to her. "Oh" she said as she looked at the letter with a rosy flustered face. "I think you're winning" I said as I faked a smile. "Thanks, for leading me to the right path" she said smiling. "Hmmm" I sighed as she suddenly got so excited she got up and started wandering around in joy.

Well it's going to be a wild night at THE TORTURED STUDENTS DEPARTMENT. Today it's going to mark the destiny of four ambitious students tortured by the disease called love. I better send that letter to Keres.

-TIME SKIP-

I kind of stole Potter's invisibility cloak and I was lurking behind the bushes of where the scene was going to take place. As expected Keres arrived 5 minutes early and I could see Aurelia who would be entering the scene any minute now.

"Hey" Aurelia said as she entered the scene. "What are you doing here?" Keres asked, confused. "You called for me" Aurelia replied. "What? No, when?" Keres said and Aurelia panicked and she muttered, "The letter".

"Aurelia, I- I'm sorry, you're a genuinely nice person. I really think you're great but, Lily- she think we are dating and I don't want her to live in a question with suspicion I want to be3 true to her. So please for my sake can you, stay away from me?" he said and Aurelia's facer turned to rage, "So this is what you called for? Keres, how long are you going to hold up with that slut-" Aurelia asked when Keres cut her off and said, "Don't call my Lily-" he started.

"SHE DOESN'T LIKE YOU, SHE NEVER DID. IT WAS ALL A SCHEME TO MAKE SCAMANDER JEALOUS, LET'S BE HONEST EVERYONE KNOWS THEY BOTH ARE A THING. WHY DON'T YOU WANT TO BELIEVE THAT?!" Aurelia screamed. "No it's not they're wrong, Lily is-" Keres said when Aurelia cut him off and said,

"How long do you think that loony head is going to hold up with you? She's ruining your life and your friendship. She's going to forcefully break your bond with all your friends like how she did with both of us" Aurelia said. DAMN AURELIA IS ON THE MOOD TODAY. I'M CRAVING FOR POPCORN RIGHT NOW.

"STOP BAD MOUTHING MY LILY YOU BITCH" Keres said with rage filling his eyes, "I've been patient too long. Aurelia, I love Lily and no one else" he said. "But does she love you? All she thinks about is herself" Aurelia shot.

Keres looked like he had been shot in the heart. "Lily just got possessive, she'll go back to normal if you back off" he defended. "No, that's just who she is. She is a crazy annoying brat. That's why no girls like her except those other two bitches. Only boys like her and that's because she's good looking. She's just a fucked up kid playing angel" Aurelia said.

Keres stood there dumb struck. "The truth will triumph and you've finally seen the real Lily she can';t hide forever and Keres, is that what you want? A tag along?" she asked and Keres broke. I WAS HAVING A WHOLE PARTY DOWN THERE. AS OF TODAY AURELIA IS MY FAVOURITE PERSON.

"Aurelia?" Lily said as she entered the scene. "Lily" Keres started and Lily cut him off and said, "I'm sick of listening to your explanations Keres, it can't be a coincidence that you're always around her" Lily said. "Lily I swear-" Keres started and Lily walked away in disappointment. Keres ran behind her as Aurelia just stood there near the lake.

I have only one thing to say to address this situation,

EXCLUSIVE HUGO'S P.O.V:

I don't understand why I'm always the odd duckling in a group of absolutely anything. I'm the only boy in the whole 2008 Weasley-Potter gang. I'm the most average and weird looking kid among my friends and I'm the most hated and unwanted celebrity child.

Like you see my cousins like James, Albus, Rose and Lily, I'm telling you they have made front covers many times but I haven't even made it there once. I guess I'm just not exquisite enough to be big news.

It just feels like my life is just numb and boring. But the worst part in all of this is being in love.

A boy and girl being in one-sided love is totally normal, like that hurts but in my case I'm hopelessly in love with a guy, who just desperately WANTS to be straight. Nothing hurts more than you being hopelessly in love with your straight best friend. Yeah, I love Lorcan.

I've been raised in a very girl-dominated society, all my male cousins were older than me and they always thought I was some weird kid so they were never really close to me. My dad doesn't talk to me much either. It always my mom, my sister and my female cousins, Lily, Lucy and Roxanne, they are basically the people I grew up with.

I kinda feel that is one of the main reasons I'm attracted to guys, I feel so easy around girls when I see guys they make me nervous and give me that kick.

The first time I met Lorcan was at the Potters' home. He's just that fun kid who's just excited and waiting to live the next day. I initially thought we were just the best of friends but I eventually realised that I'm just hopelessly in love and I'm obsessed with him, full on. His personality, his enthusiasm, his smile, his smell, he's just- HOT and perfect.

He's like sunshine and daisies with his vibrant smile, his hot cheekbones and collar bones. His deep blue eyes always squinting from happiness, his spiked up hair and the smell of his sweat mixed with deodorant after Quidditch practice. I want someone like him in my life. Someone who can cheer me up and make me smile.

AND YOU PROBABLY WON'T REALISE HOW HARD IT IS TO PRACTICALLY LIVE WITH LIKE THE HOTTEST GUYS IN HOGWARTS LIKE SERIOUSLY, JARED, LYSANDER, VAL AND LORCAN ARE LIKE A HOT PACKAGE and I just feel so awkward being in the middle of them.

I seriously can't compare Lorcan to any of my other friends. Lorcan is just different, I mean yeah, he's trouble, he's wacky and reckless but that's what I like about him. He's the one I want. He's actually such a sweetheart he only does shit for popularity.

If I have to compare, which I don't like doing because Lorcan is who he is, he's unique on his own, I have to say that my next most suitable candidate is Val.

Val's hot and all but he's just into too many relationships at once and he's kinda freaky sometimes.

Jared is such a good boy and he's just too, I don't know but I've never really liked Jared much, I love his voice and that cute french lilt he has while saying weird ass pastry names. He's hot too but just not my type.

I don't want to get started on Lysander, I mean yeah, bro's hot as fuck but he's just one of those people who are better off alone. Because it's going to be troublesome if a person like him gets into a relationship.

It's kinda embarrassing to think that I used to get confused between Ly and Lorc. When they were young I could barely tell them apart, they used to wear the same clothes and have the same hairstyle and I was just a kid so I couldn't really tell apart their hair colour and eye colour. But as they grew up their styles changed so yeah, it was fine.

I have been hopelessly in love with Lorcan for like the past year and I tried hinting him this year but he's just a fucking dumbass. I mean even Val recognised it but Lorcan couldn't. Bro, we talk like everyday and I come to watch you at Quidditch practice and I help you study and all but at the end you say, 'we're just friends', now that's just triggering.

I don't think he realises that I'm in love with him because according to him, guys can only like girls. I mean it's 2024 Lorcan, come on, let's go to the street and march with those rainbow flags in June. Why can't a boy have a boyfriend?

I was thinking all this when I entered the dorm right after finishing my homework in the common room. I entered to see a scene of Lorcan, cat fighting with Lysander over some money.
