Flashback

Three hours before, JinGe, HanFeng and the gang had all sneaked to the enemy camp.

After so many years of planning and coming up with hundreds of strategies to counter the enemy and after knowing the location of the enemy camp, they were more than ready.

The gang was able to estimate the timing, place, and the route the Elder's group would use. However, for their plan to work, they must first infiltrate the camp.

They gathered outside the barrier, before they infiltrated, they all took off their clothes, revealing the white puppets clothes that they had prepared for everyone beforehand.

As CaiXia had discovered JinGe last time, JinGe cooperated with HanFeng, the black wolf to enhance their intrusion spell on the camp. Although it consumed a lot more magic than the usual spell and in addition, they had to cast it on everyone, however it was worth it, as it lowers the risk of being found out by CaiXia.

Sometimes, it was hard for JinGe to believe that the little boy she first met, was working under such a ruthless master and furthermore at such a young age. With the amount of talent he held, he would contribute so much more to the world.

"Maybe I could save him," thought JinGe. "Maybe he had a reason for the things he did." She could still remember that night and those words he had exchanged with her and how he had spared her life.

Slowly, they sneaked into the compound with all the bandits including Ah Zhong, with his eye patch who accompanied her as per orders by her stepbrother, BuDao.

"Wear your mask properly so they will not reveal our faces and remember do not talk and stay close," said JinGe to the men before they split into two groups of six.

Each group was to separately move to the rallying point with each having a separate objective with ZhiMei handling one group consisting of DanDan, FuHan and another three more while HanFeng will lead the other group with JinGe. The team would consist of them both with Ah Zhong, and another three others.

ZhiMei will standby at the dungeon where she was giving a rescue mission, tasked with the responsibility to save General Sun and YuWei, YuQiao's brother.

HanFeng and JinGe's group will moved separately, their aim was to kill. They need to cripple the Elder's main force, the white clothed puppets. To do that, means they need to aim for the ones who are in charge of controlling them, LuLing and XuJi.

However, they must find the two first. It was harder than they thought as both groups creeped around the place but without any sightings, unable to catch even a glimpse of the corners of their skirts.

No guards patrolling, the corridor was lit with lanterns, it was just another foyer, another room.

They would have passed the common room without knowing the people inside as it as normal as day. It was a sudden night breeze that bought JinGe's attention to the room as in the air; there was a strange familiar smell.

"Wai-"

Before JinGe could stop anyone from walking further and stay to check the room.

A sword came cutting through the empty spaces between the paper windows.

The shawl she wore was sliced by the sharp edge and JinGe saw the sword's body shone under the lantern's glow, reflecting her own face.

Her pupils dilated in surprise.

It was HanFeng who suddenly felt the killing aura emitting behind the windows and dragged JinGe away from the danger. It missed her by a hair breath.

Before the sliced shawl fell on the ground while everyone was still in a dazed to what had happened, HanFeng yelled in response, "Retreat."

It jolted the men to pull back. The action saved their lives because the sword rotated, and its sharp edge pointed towards them.

The sharp weapon dragged across the window, and it cut past the wood as if they were nonexistent and moved in swift movement towards the men.

Due to the warning given by HanFeng earlier, the men were spared. However, although they avoided being injured, yet were still too slow to react and were only getting their sword out from the scabbard unlike HanFeng.

When the sliced shawl finally landed, no sooner than the person on the other side could retract his sword, HanFeng while still holding onto JinGe, pierced through the window, trying to harm the other person.

The force of his attack bought the sliced shawl flying into the air.

LuLing grabbed hold of the flying shawl, gave out a perverse smile as he stared at JinGe. His eyes piercing at every inch of the girl, "Wonderful! It was really boring to be with XuJi all the time. I don't mind some company."

Exciting? What do you think of the action in this? Clear enough to understand. See you again next Wednesday again. Have a good day while I continue with another chapter. Vote and comment would be great. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ zhu zhu shaaaa la laaaa laaa
