These are previous book covers that I did for ZuoMeng: To Dream. I did a few before I was satisfied with the current one. Please don't mind my amateurish skills. I am not a professional artist and I usually do traditional art instead of digital so digital art is something I am not very familiar.

This is the English Version (Red Lotus) (the Chinese letters are quite hidden). The lotus to represent all the characters in my book especially Sun YuQiao, Bai LiQin, and Yang JinGe who all has their struggles but still continue to bloom despite the hardships they faced.

(Although, I also find it quite true for all the people living in this world. Who can say that they do not face any difficulty in life).

This is the same one but the lotus is in White. (I can't decide between the two) They own has their own beauty. You can vote which one you like better :P

This is the book cover that I have used for the longest time. As it shows a girl in a red dress (Chinese Bride usually wore red as it's auspicious) on a perilous path, the red cloth that usually worn over the head had flown away signify her hopes/dreams that seemed unreachable. That's the overall idea have for this cover.

Character's Art 😊 Please excuse my poor drawing skills. But I really wanted to share this so that people might get a gist of my beloved characters.

Sun YuQiao - Cheerful and bubbly.

Bai LiQin with a Peach Clothes (Casual) - These clothes were tailored made for her.

Bai LiQin with a Blue Clothes (Formal)

Yang JinGe - has the same appearance as Bai LiQin as she borrowed her body when she was a ghost (Sun YuQiao).

After the events she went through as Sun YuQiao and Bai LiQin, she has a mature and serious personality. But acts recklessly to achieve her goals.

I tend to procrastinate writing by doing art or vice versa. That's how I roll and that's the reason that I have so many book covers for the same book because I tend to procrastinate a lot haha and drawings too (since I do art when I don't write/has writer's block).

This is my ai gen art (with some touch by myself). What do you think. I think it fits the aesthetic really well. Thinking of adding font and using it as a book cover though. What do you think?
