"Julia?" Dr. Santoro says. "You're awake!" He hugs me. I notice that he smells like oranges, just like my father. Niky runs over to me. "Did you sleep well?" I nod, even though that's a lie. I look at the odd man and woman. I can finally see their facial features. The tall man has long dark eyes and a pointy chin. The woman, on the other hand, has a round face. Her nose is small and petite. She has big blue eyes.

   The woman extends her hand. "Nice to meet you. I'm Dove, and this is Draco." She nods to the tall man next to her. "Nice to meet you too." I respond. I look at Draco and smile. He scowls and grunts. Dove leans in and whispers to me, "Draco can be a pain in the bit sometimes." I smile and nod. I like Dove. Niky steps forward. "Miss Dove and Mister Draco would like to talk to you Julia." she informs me. "Yes, about that," Dove starts, " We are managers of the Zugzwang Orphanage, located a few miles away from here. We heard your story and thought you'd love our Orphanage. It's full of nice kids," Draco clears his throat. Dove sighs and rolls her eyes. She continues. " ... that you can play with." She smiles.

   "What about school?" I ask.

   "We have our own private school."
 
    "How big is the building?"

    "3 stories"

    "That's a lot." I say. She smiles. "Yes it is" I look at Dr.Santoro and Niky. "Can I please go?" I ask them. They look at each other. "In 2 weeks. That's when you should be cured from your burns. You also need to go clothes shopping." Dr. Santoro tells me. My smile grows even bigger. "I can wait!" I say cheerfully. They all smile, even Draco, who seemed like he didn't even have emotions. I jump for joy. I'm so happy! I keep jumping, and everyone is smiling and laughing around me. It's the happiest I've ever felt in months!

   Suddenly a sharp pain shoots up my right leg, and I collapse to the ground, wincing. Dove crouches down next to me and whispers, "Where does it hurt?" I point to my ankle. She places both hands on my ankle and closes her eyes. She mumbles something I can't hear, then I feel a shock where my injury is. She removes her hands and I don't hurt anymore. "Are you ok?" Dr. Santoro asks. I nod. I don't know how Dove did that. I look at her in confusion. "This is a secret" A voice speaks in my mind. "We'll tell you at Zugzwang." She nods. I nod back.
