Barbara's pov

I sat in the space ship with Dick's team. Wally leaned an arm over the head rest of my seat. "So Batgirl, are you going to tell us what's going on with Robin?" He asked, the rest of the team looked over at us.

"No." I deadpanned thinking about Dick. I could only imagine what he was going through right now. I needed to put Zucco behind bars. "Come on, why not BG?" He asked.

"If Rob wanted you to know he would have told you." I wanted to tell him to butt out. Sure Kid-Flash might have been Robin's best friend. But I was Dick's best friend.

"Leave the ship here." I told the Martian. She landed it right outside of Gotham. I hoped out smiling at the gloomy city. Breathing in the scent of pollution. This was home.

"Let's got." I said running towards the city. The group hesitated before following me. I stopped on the Wayne Enterprise roof top waiting for them to catch up. "How are we supposed to find Zucco?" Superboy asked.

"That's the fun part. We get to break into a mob casino." "What?!" They exclaimed. I let out a clacking laugh. "Zucco was a mobster. If he breaks out he's going to pay his old crew a visit. Repay them for selling him out. Now lets go." I lead them towards the hidden underground casino. It was made doing the prohibition, now it continue it's tradition of doing stuff that breaks the law.

I dropped in the alley the rest following though not as quietly. I looked at the door... it was cracked open. Shit. I nodded towards it and the rest seemed to noticed. I pulled out a batarang and opened the door the rest of the way. I walked the main room of the casino the main lights flicker, it looks like Zucco already got here. Five men sat dead around a poker table.

There was a note on the table. I reached for it but Wally beat me to it. "Too late again little bird." He said reading it out loud. "What does that mean?" One of the dead bodies moved. "He-elp." He said blood coming from his mouth. I heard the sound of someone clapping.
I looked around.

"He's still here." I whispered to the team putting my guard up more then it already was. "Hello Batgirl." Said Tony stepping out from a dark hallway. "A pleasure to finally meet you." He said a twisted smile on his lips.

Wally moved toward him and he though a knife right through Wally's calf muscles. "And this must be the Young Justice team." He sneered. "What's wrong Batgirl the little bird couldn't make it. I tighten my grip on the batarang and just like that another knife flew ripping it from my grasp.

"I'd say I'm surprised but that boy never could face me." I glared that him. "What are you talking about?" asked Artemis. His smile grew. "Oh the little bird didn't tell you. When other the his bat-girlfriend.

"What do you want Zucco?" I demanded, he laughed. "I want to make that little bird-friend of yours suffer." "I wont let you." He pulled out a can stabbing a knife into it. "You can't stop me." Green gas spread through the room. I cover my face with my cape try to get to the exit. I had to warn Dick.

I crawled to the door fighting for air. When I got there Zucco was standing by it. "Nice try Batgirl." And the kicked me and I felt myself losing consciousness.

Dick's POV

I watched my parents fall again and again. I tried to save them. As Dick Grayson the actrbat and as Robin. But I just couldn't. Always too late. Then I heard Megan's voice. "Robin- Tony Zucco- casino help." Woke up from my dream. I remember everything about Tony getting free. And Megan, she had called for help. I quick ran to the zeta tube to beam myself to Gotham.

When I got to he casino the door was open. I stepped inside and the first thing I smelled more then saw were the dead men at the poker table.

I moved past them to the next room. I know Tony was the one that killed them. But where was he? Where was the team? I saw one of Artemis arrows on the floor and then blood.

I also saw a note, I picked it up. "Hello little bird. Uncle Tony's back in town and though it would be nice to pay you a visit. To repay you for the vacation you got for me. If you ever want to see your precious friends again you will come to where this all started before midnight. Unless you want them end up like your parents." I shook at that.. so he knew. He knew who I was. He had my friends, he would kill them. Part of me wanted to sit here and cry. But the other part of me.. I balled up the note in my hand. If Zucco wanted me he'd get me.
