Lyra said nothing but giggled "hurry!" Koul shouted, dragging Echo to a cave deep in the forest, Lyra was close behind but when they entered the cave, they were safe from Lyra "phew..." Koul said slowly walking out of the cave, Echo was speechless from the shock of Lyra, but he followed Koul deeper and deeper into the forest, it kept getting darker the deeper the got into the forest "get out..." the echo of a voice sprang around "who's there? Reveal yourself!" Koul shouted "get out...get out..." the voice repeated "I SAID REVEAL YOURSELF!" Koul shouted, then right in front of him was the figure of a black like pokemon with paws and curved ears on it and the same with the tail, the figure also had a fix like nose similar to Echo, but Koul couldn't make the figure out, behind the other figure was a leaf-like pokemon that had a similar figure to the other figure but with leaves, Koul saw them then run away "get out...get out..." the voices of the two figures echoed through the dark forest against the trees as Koul chased after them with his speed, he had the highest speed stat of all his kind and he was the fastest jolteon ever known, but the two figures seemed to be invisible-like, Koul dragged Echo behind him as they followed the figures into a canopy, Koul shook the leaves out of the way, and there stood the two figures, an umbreon with blue rings and a normal looking leafeon "wh-who are you?" Koul asked "get out...get out..." the repeated again "TELL ME!" Koul shouted, the leafeon put it's head down "alright...I will" The leafeon said "I am Seru and this is Reru" the leafeon said pointing with the tip of her tail towards the umbreon, the umbreon looked like she was blushing but Echo didn't take notice, he was still petrified, Reru sighed "come with us" she said, following behind Seru, on the way to who knows where. "What's with the sudden change of heart?" Koul asked "we scented that you have good intentions" Seru replied.

Five hours later they made it to a giant waterfall that looked like it had lots of fresh water "that's the spring" Reru said, seeing that Koul was curious about it "our home is behind there" Seru added, pointing to the waterfall. Seru led them to the waterfall, she closed her eyes peacefully and a bridge appeared intent of them along with an opening in the waterfall, Seru gently opened up her eyes again and led the way inside. When they were inside the waterfall, there were eevees everywhere, it was quite a large population "Seru! Seru! Come quick! We found something!" A flareon shouted at Seru "lead the way, Rouge!" Seru shouted back, and the flareon nodded his head running off with Seru following close behind "come!" Reru called out to Echo and Koul and they followed.

They reached an old fresh bloomed tree with a little pond surrounding it that connected to the spring at the entrance "we found this" Rouge said pointing to a bleeding espeon "she is hardly breathing" a flareon behind Rouge said "take her to the hospital, we will deal with her there" Seru said and Rouge nodded his head carrying the espeon with the other flareon "wa-was that Zara?! No! No! It can't be! I must be dreaming! Zara can't-ZARA JUST CAN'T!" Echo shouted in his head, then he fainted.
