General (POV)

The sun begins its slow rise over the town of Bunnyburrows. Slowly bathing everything in a light peach color. Warming and waking everything with its touch. As it reach the town a small house some distance away was beginning to stur. As the sun entered through the windows it slowly awakened Nick. His eyes slowly opened and he looked lazily around. Then feeling a small weight on his chest he looked down and saw...Judy. She was curled up into a ball on Nick's chest. A little smile on her face as her breathing matched Nick's.

Click. Came from the doorway and there stood Gazelle and Zoey, who took the picture. "You guys would make a cute couple."

Gazelle nodded excitedly. "You are so adorable together."

Nick looked back down at the sleeping bunny on his chest. A longing look in his eyes. "I wish it could happen." he mumbled raising a paw to stroke one of Judy's ears but he hesitated. Slowly he lowered his paw and let it dangle off of the couch. "If only."

Zoey and Gazelle looked at each other. It was obvious that the fox wanted to be friends if not more with Judy and it was clear that she felt the same but one thing was holding them back. Judy was a prey and Nick was a predator. As long as this war went they would never get the chance to be with each other. It was strictly forbidden and it was crushing both of them. Nick more than Judy.

"You actually want to be with her, don't you?" Zoey asked walking towards Nick. He looked up his eyes filled with sadness.

"Yes." looks down at Judy. "She saved me, and unlike the other prey that I've met she wasn't scared." he looked back up at Zoey. "I've never felt this way. She makes me happy. I feel..." Nick stopped and looked at Judy a new look in his eyes.

"Loved.." Zoey said her voice just over a whisper but Nick still heard her. He looked over a smile on his face.

"Loved." he repeated as if he were trying the word out. "Thats the word."

Judy slowly woke. She stayed on Nick's chest for a little longer than sat up. When she looked around she saw the others and quickly jumped off of Nick.

"Guys!" she shouted surprised. "I just came to check on Nick."

The others were gonna say something but the clash of metal on metal and screaming cut them off. Everyone, including Nick, got up and looked out of the window. They were met by the sight of prey fighting each other out side of Bunnyburrows. One side seem to be defending Bunnyburrows while the other was trying to attack. And the defending side was loosing. They were outnumbered and caught off guard giving the attacking side the advantage. The defending side may have been at a disdvatange but they were fighting with all they had.

"What's going on?" Judy asked a slight hint of fear in her voice.

"The large party." Nick said his voice barely above a whisper. Although Gazzele didn't hear him Zoey and Judy did. They both looked at Nick with a puzzled look.

"The large party?" Zoey said absolutely confused. "That looks nothing like a party fox."

Nick looked around trying to find his weapons. "Where's my gear?"

"I confiscated them." Zoey said looking at Nick wearily. "I don't trust you enough to have weapons."

"I need them." Nick said his voice not leaving any room for debate but Judy wasn't gonna back down.

"Why?" she asked her paws on her waist. "Why do you need your weapons? Why are they here? What is this 'Large Party'?"

"I'm gonna go fight. They have orders to attack Foxden but they're attacking Bunnyburrows for some reason and they are a large group of soldiers." Nick replied to every question. "Where are my weapons?" Nick asked Zoey looking directly ay her.

"In the hallway closet." she replied and Nick went straight for the closet. He opened it and grabbed his blades. Just as he was about strap them on he realized that his cloak was missing and that he was heavily bandaged on his midsection.

"Where's my cloak?" He asked looking at Judy. She forgot that he was bare chest and blushed when she remembered the feel of his muscles in her paws.

"In my room. I was gonna fix it." she replied looking down anywhere but at Nick.

"Can you get it for me?" Nick asked his voice gentle and soothing. In response Judy rushed upstairs and burst into her room snatching the black and red cloak from the chair in her room.

"She never blushed before." Zoey said from behind Nick. When he looked behind him he saw that she had a crossbow strapped across her back and her Katana strapped into its sheath at her waist. She wore the same armor she had when they raided Foxden under the command of Jack Savage. "You're something different from the others."

"I'm a fox." he replied his tail swaying from side to side for emphasis. "You any good at fighting?"

"I held my own during the raid." Zoey said defensively.

"Good." Nick said as Judy came downstairs his cloak in her paws.

"Here you go." she had smiling giddily.

"Thanks" Nick said ignoring her overly joyed smile. Quickly Nick put on his cloak and pulled down the hood so that his face was visible. "How fast are you?" he asked Zoey as he made his way to the door.

"I can run a mile in Four minutes." she said proudly.

"Try and keep up." Nick replied and sprinted out of the house on all fours. His cloak trailing behind him as he charged towards the ongoing battle.

"No Fair!" Zoey shouted as she ran after Nick. She barely left a second after Nick but he was already two thirds of the way to the battle. "What the hell is he?"

As if to answer her questions a terrified scream came from the side of the attckimg army. "Cursoribus!" Panic quickly spread among the Attacking group as news spread.

Nick (POV)

Before I even drew my blades the large party was panicking at the sight of me. They were looking in every directing confused as to where I was. In a second I was in their ranks, with my hood pulled up and my blades drawn. Everytime I swung my blades came into contact with something. Usually flesh but ocassinally armor and weapons too. I was creating one hell of a destruction and I guess the defending army thought the same because they rushed their confused opponent. It was absolute chaos. Within ten seconds the attacking arm was retreating leaving their wounded and dead and getting the fuck out of dodge. When the last of the attacking prey left into the forest the defending side relaxed slightly but they didn't drop their guard.

"Fox!!" someone shouted and surprise surprise the guys I just helped wanted to kill me now. They all picked up their weapons and started circling me. I knew there was no way I could get away from this. I was outnumbered badly.

"Stand down!" I heard a deep booming voice shout at the defenders how hesitated to lower their weapons. "I said stand down! Lowered your weapons!" reluctantly the defending troops lowered their weapons, but they kept them at the ready.

I noticed a large cape buffalo in white Carbon fiber armor making his way to the front of the circle. He carried a large sheild on his left arm and a large war axe was strapped to his side with in easy reach. I stopped four feet away from me and no doubt studied me thoroughly. After a second or two he looked me in the eyes and spoke again.

"Who are you?" his voice was neutral. Neither friendly nor hostile.

"I am Cursoribus Nicolas P. Wilde." I replied loudly so that they could all hear me. "I come from Foxdomum."

"I am Chief Bogo. I am the head guardsmammal of Bunnyburrows." the buffalo replied. "What is your business here?"

"I came to fight the Large party." the troops immediately started calling bullshit and saying I was lying. That I lead the attack.

"Shut It!" Bogo shouted and immediately the troops went quiet. "How did you know they would be here?"

"I found information saying that they would be attacking Foxden." I replied and it was true. "I had no idea that they would be attacking this town."

"How do I know you're telling the truth?" Bogo asked suspiciously.

"I can vouche for him." I heard Zoey say. "He didnt come here to hurt us."

Immideatly everyone looked over at Zoey who walked up right next to me. Bogo looked between me and Zoey.

"Gardens." Bogo said his voice deep and calm. "You say that you will vouche for Nicolas. You do know what will happen to you if he does hurt one us right?"

"I'll be arrested for treason." Zoey said coolly.

Bogo stared at us for a litttl but longer then gave us a small snort. "Very well." he said straightening up. "This fox is under the protection of Zoey Gardens!" Bogo shouted looking at the troops surrounding us. "He is not to be harmed unless I say so! Is that clear?"

"Chief ,Yes, Chief!" they shouted and all put away their weapons. Slowly they migrated back to the town.

"Nicolas." Bogo called out to me. "I would like a word with you when you're free. Ask Garden to show you my office."
