After the storm Judy invited nick to her home sins his was such a mess after the storm. Having to sleep on the couch had its benefits. Closer to the bathroom,next to the kitchen,and the couch wasn't half bad. As the days went on, both nick and Judy made the best of it. From staying up late and watching movies, to cooking together and even talking out from time to time. Nick trying to convince Judy that they should go to the beach. Judy knowing that nick just wanted to see her in a swimsuit.
Finally the day came when Judy got a call from chief bogo asking to take a case with nick and several others. As the idea that nick and Judy were becoming a couple to the public, may end up costing them there jobs. Deciding to keep there relationship a secret until the time was right. Nick and Judy were assigned to watch over an interspecial rally as the thought of the group that have bin leaving a trail of death might try to strike.
As the sun peeked in Judy's bed room she was wide awake within minutes. Going out to wake nick and throwing him his uniform, they made there way to the rally with the standard binoculars and notepad.

Judy's POV:
As the day went on nick just kept playing on his phone, as the sun went up little by little I stared to see couples. A hippo with a zibra, sea otter and a cheetah, a mirror cat and.....a lion?? Well I can't judge, in a way they kinda cute together. After all I'm dating a sly fox and he's got a me. Unfortunately the peace didn't last,after an hour had passed others stared to come. Protesters saying that it was a crime against nature and that it was unnatural and disgusting. A few other officers came by to disperse them and to keep away. I took a minute to rest sins I still felt a little cramped in this car.
Ring,ring,ring
My eyes shot open just as I was half asleep. I took one look and saw my meters face. I was afraid to talk to her, that picture of me and nick sleeping together and us leaving the bar. I figured that they would be outraged that there little bunny was with a fox. "Hey Cottontail you going together that" nick said as I just stared at the phone ring. He took my hand and kissed it. I felt my ears come up and my cheeks burn red. We've only bin together for about a week now and I'm still not used to him acting so sweet.
As soon as I answered my phone I heard my dads voice, screaming at the top of his lungs.
" Judy my baby bunny, are you ok?!? We just got the paper about you saving the city and some fox tagging along??? Who is he?!? Where have you bin?!? Are you ok?!? Is that fox bothering you?!?"
I pulled the phone back just far enough for me to calm down.
Ya dad I'm fine and he didn't tag along he actually helped me and managed to save my life, um what do you mean you just got the paper? This happened just a few months back.

Nicks POV:
Tagging along??? I helped just as much as as Judy did. I reached over to snatch the phone from Judy to give that rabbit an ear full, until Judy pulled back shacking her head furiously back and forth. Clearly begging me not to take the phone. "Really months ago??? Well sorry sweetheart I guess the papers getting around a little slower now these days but what are you going to do?"  I didn't know anyone that still used the paper just to keep up, even the look on Judy's face said it all. "Dad have your about the internet?" Judy said in a mocking tone, we giggled thinking he might not know what the internet was. "The what?"
The giggling soon stopped as me and Judy both looked at each other. He really didn't know what the internet was. "You know what dad never mind, I'll call you back I've a job to do"

As Judy hung up a bright flash of flames covered the car. Nick took Judy's hand and jumped out his door that wasn't engulfed in flames. Judy stood up and ran to the corner of the car and saw a crocodile lighting a cocktail Molotov ready to chuck it back to nick and Judy. Judy jumped up pulling up her tranquilizer and took her aim. The crocodile froze in place as he was in a stand still with Judy. "Get down on your knees and place your hands on your head!!!!!" Judy shouted at the top of her lungs. The crocodile just smirked and pulled his hand back getting ready to cook Judy. As he pulled his arm back nick placed his hand on the Molotov and pulled it out of the crocodile hand, pulling out his tranquilizer and pushed it to the back of the crocodiles head. " ya I'd listen to her if I were you" nick said as he passed the Molotov to another officer that was pulling by.
As the protesters was being pulled up Judy took a quick pic of the protester. His shirts had some emblem on it. Half was a paw parent with claws and the other was a paw parent of what looked to be a rabbits.
As nick and Judy made there way back to there car they saw that it was being taken back for repares.

Judy's POV:
Looks like we're walking today, my hands were were shaking from the adrenalin run pumping through my vains. I hate to say it but I was actually scared for a second. The look on his face said it all. We was going to take my life without a second thought and that would've have bin the end of it, if it wasn't for nick.
For the next few hours we walk around the perimeter of the festival, as more and more couples came in and even some news reports to cover the story of the festival and the protestors. I answered a few questions and continued of with my day. That was until nick pulled me aside to a corner.
Nick what you doing we have a job to......what are you doing???
Nick pulled up his shirt and loosens his tie and pulled down his pants I covered my eyes as he changed.
"Oh come on carrots it's not like you haven't seen me like this before."
I felt my cheeks burn hot. Nick put some cloths on for the love of....

Nick pleased two fingers on her lips. As Judy opened her eyes she saw that nick was in his usual green shirt and brown slacks. "Come on let's enjoy the festival, it is for interspecial couples after all" Judy though it over for a few minutes. " ok but first you need to turn around, I don't want you peeking" niche chuckled at the thought but Judy made it clear that she was series.
As Judy striped down nick was around the corner looking out for anyone coming by. As Judy maker her way out with her pink top and blue jeans. "Are you shore this is a good idea, what if someone sees us?" Nick took Judy's hand in his and pulled her close. "Come on cotton tail have a little fun"
The day went by as they went on rides they laughed and ate. The sun fell on the horizon nick and Judy made there way to the corner to Chang back in to there uniform.

Nicks POV:
I held he close under my arm, I don't know if it was from the rides or all the junk food that we had but it here was something about this day with her that just made my hear race. No matter where we went she was there by my side. I wish it lasted forever...... But as usual it all ends at some point. On our way back to the corner to change something caught my eye. The same emblem that the crocodile had on his shirt crossed my eye, this time it was on a hoody.I froze in place and stared to scan for that same emblem. " nick you ok?" Judy called out to me, but the second I spotted that emblem i broke in to a sprint. "Nick!!!" Judy called out to me.
"Judy around the corner cut him off!!!!!" I shouted out. She was gone with in seconds. Who ever it was he was fast, he ducked under a stage. I followed right under only to find a black fox with the hoody. He was on his knees pulling wires. I jumped on to his back and pulling him off trying to get the upper hand, Judy came up behind me with what sounded like back up.

The suspect is being pulled away from under the stage. Officers are forces to evacuate the festival as a bomb squad is falling in.news choppers fall in to the Scene as Judy and nick are questioned by reporters left and right. Where did this happen?,who is behind the attempted bombing?,why aren't you  in uniform?, were you both under cover? With out any warning both nick and Judy are pulled to the side and in to a tent. As the enter the tent they see officer bogo talking on the phone. "Dame it!!!!" Bogo shouts to the top of his lungs and towns the phone to the ground as hard as he can. As glass and plastic fly through the air the looks over to find nick and Judy standing behind one of the officers.
"Um....chief is everything ok?" Judy ask hesitantly.  Bogo presses his forehead and turns to Judy.
" hopps,wild......you might want to take a seat, the lead suspect confessed that the bombing at the festival was actually a distraction and I have just reserved word that......." Bogo hesitated to tell them both of what just happened. "It seems at the time of the bombing that this gave the former assistant mayor bellwether time to escape"
Judy heart dropped and nick almost fell to the floor. The one who had almost split all of zootopia down the middle and tried to kill Judy, was out.
Nick held Judy's hand, in his own way telling her that everything is going to be ok.
At least for now.
