18 years latter

"Alright alright everyone Sit down!! Sit down dinner is almost ready. Lucy sweaty go get you brothers and tell them to come in. It's getting dark and it's almost time."
Nick called out from the dinner table
Lucy was still texting from her phone and only rolled her eyes.
"Amethyst go get your brothers please"  Nick said as he set the table.
"Sure thing, BRB" amethyst got up and ran out to the front door.
As the front door swung open nearly hitting Kiel.
"Hey watch it you almost hit me!!" Amethyst didn't seem to notice Kiel talking
"Hey do you know where robin and Jacob are??" Kiel only rolled her eyes.
"Same place as ever, over the pond and in the trees. Hey Is dinner ready?"
Amethyst broke in to a sprint leaving Kiel on the porch.
"Almost, dad setting the table.!!!"

Jacob looked out to the sun as it slowly set over the horizon. He reached out as to almost touch the sun and hold it in place. Hoping that the day wouldn't end.
"Dude come down its almost dinner time!!!" Robin called down from below scratching his orange fur around is neck.
"I'll be down in a second" Jacob stood at the tallest branch and looked for a clear place to jump.
"Legs don't fail me now." The cold night air rushing pass his ears as he jumped down. For most a fall like that might brake there legs but not when you have legs that are made for jumping.
Jacob landed right next to robin.
"You know one day your going to hurt yourself doing that"
Jacob playfully pushed robin as he walked pass him.
"Ha ya right, when pigs fly."
Amethyst ran up to the boys slowly taking deep breaths.
"Dinner.....is almost......ready...." Robin and Jacob both looked at each other in confusion
"Sis you know we have our phones right? You don't have to run all the way out here just to get us?"
"Ya I know but you can't run like that back in the tower, I just want to run till the day ends."
They all went silent for a second, none wanted to back to the tower.
Nearly 8 years ago the newest section of zootopia was made to hold hybrids.
As some hybrids were hunted down just for being born the new section seem to be a symbol of hope at first. Until it started to turn in to a prison.
Hybrids are forbidden to go anywhere else in zootopia other than home where they were first born on special days like birthdays or holidays....until they break out the shock collars. Mass commotion came from family's who were separated from there children and as it wasn't bad enough the shock collars were only administrated to those who we considered more dangerous then others.
Jacobs POV:
I rubbed my neck where the shock collar would normally be. It was an amazing sensation knowing you were free, to actually live a life, to really be free.
"Anyways dinners ready and dad setting up the table."
I looked over to robin who had his face in his phone.
"DUDE!!! Mom on her way home!!!"
Mom!! I don't care how long it's been since we last saw her, anytime has been way to long. Robin and amethyst broke in to a sprint and leaving me in the dust.
I chuckled as they left a trail of dust.
Ha will those two ever learn? I said to my self.
I got on all fours and in a flash I passed them both, I don't know how but never really liked running on twos when I could run on all fours. I looked back to see robin and amethyst trying to keep up but falling to far back. I looked back in front only to see dad (nick) holing a stack of plates over leaping his head. I dug my claws in to the ground in an effort to stop myself....no such luck.

Lucy POV:
Dad don't you think your going a bit over bored with all those plates??
I call out as he goes out the front door with a stack of plates going over his head.
"Don't start now, your starting to sound like your mother."
I rolled my eyes and went back in to grab the forks and knifes, in a second I hear the sounds of dishes hitting and shattered all over the ground.
He probably dropped them. I thought to myself as I walked out the door.
There in a cloud of dust was dad and Jacob tangled and twisted in a pile of dishes. 
I put the silverware down and pull out my phone.
Oh this is so going on furbook.

Nicks POV:
One second I'm getting the dishes out then the next thing I know I'm on the floor with Jacob on me.....and Lucy thinks it's funny and takes a picture.
"Hey you better delete that!!!" Jacob calls out as he tries to get up. I get up and put him In a headlock.
Hey Lucy take a picture of this!! I call out. A flash goes of but before I could let go Jacob grabs be by the arm and pins me down with my arm behind my head.
"Hey sis take a pic of this, and tag me in it!"
Pictures after picture my pride seems to shrink.
Robin and amethyst and Kiel just stand there betting on who will win.
"Jacob get your father off the ground and give me a hug!!" All eyes turn to Judy with a small bag behind her.
"Mom!!!" Jacob,robin,amethyst,Lucy and Kiel all make a mad dash to Judy. I get up to brush myself off.
Hey carrot cake how was work. I call out as I make my way to them.
"Same as always, still got nothing on the case but that's just it for now. When are you heading out?" She ask as she hands me her bag and a quick kiss.
You know me I'll probably head out latter next week when they call me in.

Jacobs POV:
Mom and dad went back to talking and we all headed in for dinner....with paper plates.
For the time we were separated we had lots to talk about. We talked on how mom and dad met and when they first head us. Well almost.....they were always so sketchy with the details of how we were born and when but they told us we were born right here in bunny burrow.
Dinner was coming to a close as the clock hit midnight.
The room went quite, no one wanted to say anything before....before we locked up again.
A knock came to the door so dad got up to answer it.
I looked over to see uncle Bogo. We've all know Bogo for as long as we can remember. He neared down to get through the door and over lapped us all.
"Marry almost Christmas everyone, how are you all doing tonight."
"Pretty good chief, come to join us for desert?" Dad called out wrapping his arm around mom.
"Sadly no....I'm sure you all know why I'm here" he said as he held out five shock collars in one hand."I'll be waiting outside" Bogo called out as he headed out
We all just looked at each other knowing it would be a long time before we saw each other again together as a family.
After dinner we all head out to see bogo talking to dad.
Like always he would try and try to get us a little more time.....no such luck.
As we all made our way to the front door bogo hand his hand out with shock collars. 
The air was thin and cool, the night sky was clear and you could see all the stars.
"This won't last forever you know?" Bogo said walking up behind nick.
"What won't last forever?" Asked nick as he watched his kids get in the back for the squad car one after another.
"This....this life. Things will chang, we just have to hope it's for the better is all."
Judy walked up to the front door, holding back her tears.
Best part about having ears like my mother is that there no secrets, down side.....there are no secrets.
We all waved good bye as bogo started the car. My heart broke as they disappear off in to the distance. Looking back at bogo he hand his hand out again. This time with my muzzle, I hate this thing.
"I know you don't like it and believe me so do I but.....it's not my call"
I know it's not and that's ok, thanks for not asking me to put this on in front of mom. I said as I fastened it around my mouth.
"No problem, next stop zootopia"

Nicks POV:
There they go again, Judy stood next to me as we watched the kids go back to zootopia. I felt her hands clench on my shirt, her soft crystal hurt more than anything. I can't say I didn't want to cry but I can't let her know what. I vdo want to cry but.....I just can't. If I could I would but I can't. Iv seen this happen  way to many time as and honestly at this point I don't think it hurts as much.  But it still hurts, more there she'll ever know.
