The sun had risen. Nick, Judy, and Casey were out continuing their case. They were trying to avoid as many dinosaurs as possible, primarily Nick. He didn't really appreciate dinosaurs that much. They were large, terrifying, and gave him several nightmares. He didn't want to encounter any of the species Casey keeps blabbering on about. She, being the dinosaur nerd, kept going on and on about the different types of dinosaurs they could meet. They did find a herd of triceratops and a pack of hunting velociraptors which they managed to avoid. At least Nick hoped so. He noticed the Raptors sniffing in the air after they left, but Nick decided not to look into it that much. He didn't want to talk any more about these things. Nick scanned the area behind them. No Raptors. Good. Hopefully, it'll stay that way. Nick was terrified at the thought of not making it out alive on this mission. Well even though being a cop meant that they could die at any second, he never thought it would be in this way. He did NOT ask for a ride to Jurassic World or Park or anything related to dinosaurs. He was hoping that they would find Emily soon and make it out alive.
The gang was covering a lot of ground but something was following them. Casey sniffed the air while Nick was worried that it was what he thought it was. Turned out, he was right. The Velociraptor pack they saw earlier was now surrounding them. Nick started to see his sister's face turn white about something else. Her eyes were starting to change as she started to growl. Judy wasn't paying attention to the Raptors, but her face was focused on Casey. The Raptors made the circle tighter and tighter, ready to attack. Casey's eyes turned yellow as she went on all fours to defend her friends. She was in savage mode, ready to attack. Nick knew that face she was making. The "I am going to rip your throat out if you lay one finger on us" face. Good luck dinos you're screwed no matter what you do. Nick noticed that Judy and Casey were making eye contact with him. They had the same idea.
       In one blink of an eye, Casey jumped over one of the Velociraptors and escaped, making the path clear for Nick and Judy. They dashed right behind her as the Raptors starting hissing and chasing after them. The three ran and ran until they reached an end. Turns out, they were on a cliff. The Raptors were getting closer and Nick started preparing his last thoughts. Just then, his sister pulled both him and Judy down the end. All of them were screaming for their lives. "NICK CATCH!", he heard the bunny say. The three of them were screaming while holding on to their vines. Casey was a bit farther away than the two mammals and was actually smiling. Typical Casey. The ground was getting closer and closer until. Boing. The vines tangled Nick and Judy up while Casey was still swinging free. They were all upside down, tangled in the vines that, once again, saved their lives. Casey started swinging side to side, bumping into Nick and Judy. "OW!", Judy exclaimed. "Sorry!", Casey apologized, as she continued to swing. She hit Nick next. "HEY! What gives?". "Sorry, Nick!". The vixen was finally swinging high enough to land on her feet, as she took her claw and sliced the vines, cutting herself free while landing on her feet. "Perfect. Now for you two.", she said, smirking. She used her claw and cut the two mammals free. they landed on the ground a little less gracefully than Casey. "Where are we?", Nick questioned. "I don't know. It seems like some sort of lair.", Judy said. "Well, it seems like you found me.", said a gray wolf. "Welcome to my lair.", she said as she smirked at the three mammals. Things aren't always what they seem.
