a lot of people has already talked about this, but i'll still do it:

the whole top/bottom debate is fucking stupid.
now now, dont ex out of this yet, just hear me out.

a lot of people are like, "you think frank bottoms because he is short? YOU MONSTER!!" okay first off ball of rage, no one has ever said that, thats your own assumptions and words. 

they also say "yeah but gerd is an awkward, shy lesbian, ofc he would bottom!!!1". you know what sex causes? lust. you know what lust does to you? badabom-badamdish, personality change. of course its not like that with everyone. but y'know. and trust me, gerard is not that innocent, little angel you all want him to be. 

and what argument do people use for frank topping? "he has lotsa tattoos, and is vv hardcore and stuff!!" okay none of those are actual, good reasons for someone topping. there is a difference between appearance, and attitude and persona. like, trust me, if someone is a sweet lil baby child out of frank and gerard, its frank.

but that still doesnt have anything to do with who tops and who bottoms.

now, this whole debate didnt use to annoy me, because it rarely affected me personally, but lately it has been blowing up a lot, and its really bothering my friends who write frerard. when ever they make frank bottom, or make an innuendo about it, 99% of the comments on that chapter is "BUT FRANK TOPS D-:?!!?!?!?" and "FRANK TOPS 2K14". shut the fuck up. its damaging and really hurtful to read for the author, who put so much effort into that chapter, BESIDES THE SMUT.

and there we have it. its FICTION. its SMUT. good smut. so stop whining and fucking enjoy it.

(and i see some people starting "frank tops defense squad". please stop. nobody is attacking you. its vice-versa. frank topping/gerard bottoming doesnt need a fucking defense squad BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DEFEND. and by the way, me and my friends (*cough* tara *cough*)(shoutout to emo squad) started that defense. dont you dare.)
