Zera's POV

I wake up as my alarm goes off. I head to my closet and I get dress.

I fix my hair and smile as I then leave my room and walk to the kitchen. I see Connor and Megan chatting as they eat breakfast.

"Morning Zera! You ready for school," Megan ask me.

"A bit. I can't see what school is 'bout. I never went to school," I tell 'em.

"Ok let's head on out," Megan says as we grabs our bags and head to school.

I walk next to 'em as they explain how school works. I listen and soon we get there. I wave goodbye as I head to the main office to get my schedule. I won't be in he same grade as Megan and Connor, since they put me in as a Senior. I walk into my first period class and I sit down.

"Welcome! We have a new student. Please come to the front and tell everyone about yourself," the teacher says as I walk to the front.

"Hi. Name's Zera. I just moved here from a small town in Colorado. I like to write," I say.

"Thank you. Please sit down and we will start the lesson. So today...."

I listen to the teacher as I feel someone tap on my shoulder. I look to my left to see a girl there smiling at me.

"Hi! My name is Luna! It's nice to meet you," she says.

"Hello," I say as I smile.

"So how was it like living in Colorado," Luna ask me.

"It was different than being here," I say.

"That's cool! So when do you have lunch," she asks he I show her my schedule. "That's cool! We have lunch together! You want to sit with me and my friends?"

"Sure."

"Great!"

Da last period before lunch ends an' I walk towards the cafeteria. I look 'round as I look for Luna.

"Hey Zera! Over here," a voice says an' I turn towards it ya see Luna wavin' at me.

I smile an' I walk over ta where she's sittin' with a man an' another female.

"Silver, Ace, this is Zera. Zera, they are Silver and Ace," Luna says.

"Hi! It's nice to meet you," Silver says.

"Sup," Ace says.

"It's nice ta meet ya. Name's Zera Redfox," I tell 'em.

"I like your last name," Silver tells me.

"Thanks. It's not very common where I came from," I tell 'em.

"So are we going to just stand here or are we going to sit and eat. Because I'm hungry," Ace says.

"Yeah sure!"

I sit down an' we start to talk. Silver talking about a story she is writing an' Ace is eating a toasted Nutella sandwich. Luna is drawing an' I'm listening ta Silver.

"..and then-"

"Shuttap Silver. You don't have to tell us every little thing about your story," Ace tells her.

"Sorry Ace. I just got too excited."

"It's fine. Don't worry about it. So is you guys brother still annoying," Luna ask Silver an' Ace.

"Totally. He doesn't understand when it's time to just shut up and stop digging his hole deeper," Silver says.

"So ya guys are siblings," I ask Silver an' Ace.

"Yeah! We don't look alike but we are siblings," Silver says as she smiles. "Ace is in 10th grade and I'm a senior. Ace usually sits with his friends, but they aren't in the same lunch period, so Ace is sitting with us," Silver says.

"Yeah. No wonder why I'm into Case Closed," Ace says as he glares at Silver.

"Hehehe...whoops?"

I smile at how they interact. They remind me how my younger brother and I use to act.

"Everything alright Zera," Luna ask me.

"Yeah. Silver an' Ace reminds me how my brother an' I use ta act together," I tell 'em.

"Really? Where is your brother now," Ace ask me.

"He passed away a couple of years ago."

"Oh...sorry for reminding you of before he passed," Silver says.

"It's alright. Ya didn't know an' I have accepted his death already moved on," I tell 'em.

"Alright. So, anyone want to play a card game," Ace ask as he shows us some Hogwarts playing cards.

"Sure!"
