Zera's POV

I follow behind everyone as we head down the stairs.

"So how long have you been trying to convince him to give you the book," Artemis ask me.

"Since the day after the zombie first appeared," I tell her.

"Wow...so almost a month," she says.

"Yeah...It was tough. But thanks to ya guys showing up I can finally stop this," I tell her.

"Look. I'm pretty sure your not tell us the whole truth with what you told the mayor," I hear Miss Martian say in my head.

"Look it's complicated. I'll explain after we get rid of the curse the zombie have," I tell them. "I'll at least explain what is going to happen. The spell is in a shape of a dagger. I need to stab the zombie, forcing the curse to leave. Then I need to hit it with the arrow form of it. Or I can let Artemis do that once it leaves the body and before it can infect someone else," I tell them.

"Alright I'm up for it."

"Alright good. Because we need to do it before the sun sets."

"But the zombie comes out at night,l Kid Flash says.

"That's the other thing. I need to stab myself with the spell dagger. It won't hurt my in any way."

"Wait...So your the zombie?!"

"Yeah. I'll explain after we get rid of the curse and before it turns me into a zombie again."

"And here is the book," the mayor says as he opens the door.

I walk up and grab the book. I flip through the pages and I find the spell.

"Alright it's here. Come on let's go. We need to set this up in the woods," I tell the team.

"Ok let's go," Kid Flash says.

We head back up the stairs and we leave the build. I jog ahead of the team, wanting to get this done and over with.

"So what language is the book in," Robin ask me.

"Dragonic. Since no one knows what it is now and few knew back then it was the ideal language to put it in so no one evil would use her spells for evil purposes," I explain.

"And how do you know Dragonic? It's like a dead language," Superboy says.

"Look. I'll explain everything after we get rid of the evil, curse spirit that is dwelling inside of me ok?"

"Yeah Sure."

"Ok. We are here," I say as I look around.

I open the book and have it float in front of me. I mutter the spell and a glowing arrow forms in my hand. I make the dagger and I turn around to them.

"Ok. Everyone step back. Artemis, here is the arrow. It doesn't matter where you hit the evil spirit as long as you hit him. He will have a purple/violet mist surrounding him. Hit inside of the mist. There will be a high pitch scream. He will then disappear and will never bother us again. I also might pass out from him leaving my body so I trust Miss Martian and Artemis to take care of me," I tell them. "And also, don't look at my memories. Any questions?"

"Nope. Ok let's get this done and over with," Artemis says.

I smile and nod my head. The Young Justice team hides behind the trees. Artemis notch the arrow and point it at me. I smile, and then stab myself in the stomach. My eyes glow blue and my mouth opens as the purple/violet mist leaves my body. I collapse and then I hear a high pitch scream from the evil spirit. I smile, and then consciousness slowly fades away as I close my eyes.

M'gann's POV

After the evil spirit disappears, Artemis and I carry the girl to the bop ship. Aqualad is carrying Zera's book. Robin and Kid Flash left to tell the mayor that the zombie is gone. I make a bed at the back of the bio ship and we place her onto it. Aqualad place the book next to her as we wait for Robin and Kid Flash to return so that we can head to Mount Justice.

"I wonder what her story is like," I say as I sit in the pilot seat.

"It will be an interesting one," Aqualad says.

Kid Flash and Robin enters the bio ship. I close the door and everyone buckle up as we head back to the cave. After some time I land the bio ship in the cave. Batman is waiting for us. Once I land and open the door he walks in. He spots her and looks at Aqualad.

"Explain," Batman says.

"She helped us get rid of the zombie and promise to tell us her story and how she knew what do to," Aqualad says.

"Get her to the medbay," Batman says and then leaves.

Artemis and I get to her to medbay and onto one of the bed. We place the book on the stand next to her. We then leave and head to our rooms (since everyone have a room at the cave) and change into some casual clothing. I then head out to meet everyone else.

"So what are we going to do?"

"Batman and the others want to talk to her first when she wakes up," Wally explains.

"Ok. I'm going to go and cook since she might be hungry when she wakes up," I say as I head to to kitchen.
